Figure assortment

Noticed I forgot to post up some figs that I painted up a month ago. Haven't done anything since, just haven't been into painting. This first batch of figs are 28mm metal figs from Renegade Miniatures. It's been a number of years since I bought them and Renegade isn't around any more so I'm not 100% sure of what they actually are. I know they are for my Carthaginian army. The first base I'm pretty sure is Gallic cavalry.

This next unit I believe is some Iberian light cavalry.

And the last base is I believe actual Carthaginian cavalry.

I also painted up some 28mm metal Greek hoplite casualties. These are from Wargames Foundry.

On my paint table are a handful of Stargrave figures. Hopefully I can get a little bit of painting done this weekend.

Yet More Germans

It's been a while since I've completed and posted anything up. Real life has unfortunately been intruding. Today I finally got the last of the plastic early-war Germans completed. The figs in the first pic are plastics from Warlord Games. Please excuse my crappy pics.
The next set are two communication teams from Black Tree Design. Not sure why I bought two teams.
Next group are also from Black Tree Design and are a pack of German casualties.
Next set is a pair of motorcycles with sidecars also from Black Tree Design. Nice figs except for the drivers who have giant ham fists.

The next figs are from Wargames Foundry.

The Foundry bikes are quite a bit smaller than the BTD ones as can be seen below. Not the greatest display of the difference, but in person they look woefully smaller.

On my paint table right now is a pair of figures for a friend that are completed and are just in the process of being based. After that I've taken on a new project ('cause I don't have enough to paint as it is!), being the French and Indian War. I've acquired a number of boxed sets and the first set to be painted up will be a box of the Indians.

French Partisans, Early War Germans and Ooze!

Monday saw me finishing off a few different things. First up is two sets of World War 2 partisans. First set are metal figures from Warlord Games.
Next group is a set of metal figures from Wargames Foundry.
I've also started on my early-war Germans. First up is a set of metal command figures from Warlord Games.

The next group is a set of metal figures from Wargames Foundry.
Not sure why I need so many officers, but oh well!

And finally is some ooze. This fun figure is a metal figure from Reaper Miniatures and I plan to use it as sewer slime from the Frostgrave Into the Breeding Pits expansion.

Next on my paint table is a bunch of Germans and some more character figures for Frostgrave.

Hoplites and Bow

Yesterday I finished another four bases for my Carthaginian amy. Although these bases could be used in various other ancient armies as they're not specifically Carthaginian units. First up are two bases of hoplites. Figures are from 1st Corps with shield transfers from LBMS.
The LBMS transfers are really nice, but I'm finding that the edges start to peal away from the shields. I've resorted to brushing on Crazy Glue f I notice them starting to peel. Kind of a pain in the ass.

The other two bases are skirmish archers. These figures are from War-games Foundry.

Sitting on my paint table right now is a batch of robot figures that are almost completed. After that I have a pile of figures that I'm using as Xenithians for my Mayday game and a pile of wizards and apprentices that I'm painting up for Terry's Mayday Frostgrave game. Need to get my butt in gear!
