Jaded Blossom September New Release Blog Hop
Here is what I made:
All you need to make your very own Candle Decor is
The Candle, Wax Paper and Gift Tissue Paper
and of course your Jaded Blossom Stamp Set.
I just Stamped my Image and Sentiment on the Gift Tissue Paper (Any Ink) and just went over it a bit with some Copics and Glitter Pens. Make sure you have Paper underneath the tissue paper or the copic will bleed out. After your done just cut it out and place it on your candle, put wax paper around it and hold it tight and then heat emboss you will see the tissue melt into the candle.
For the Subway candle I pretty much arranged all my sentiments on the Tissue Paper and then just put the stamping block on top of it so it stays in place. Then same thing cut it out to fit your candle, put wax paper around it and hold it tight, then heat emboss. Don't do it too long or the candle will melt. Also use a new wax paper each and every time.
For more directions, you can go HERE.

Teacher Appreciation Week
Here is another project I made to give to my son's 2nd Grade Teacher. I altered a clipboard that I got at Walmart. My son's Teacher is truly amazing. She is like the BEST! All of us Parents also contributed to give her a Gift Certificate for a Massage. She really does deserve the very BEST.
ALL the Stamped Sentiments are from Emma of My Creative Time My Teacher Rocks! Stamp Set. You can find them Here. I just love her stamps and this is definitely a must have.
(Above)
This polka dot apple also came with the Grade School Paper Pack, I just stamped with the My Teacher Rocks! Isn't that cute? I love it.
(Above)
For this one I used the Hello Kitty Greeting Cartridge and did some faux stitching. On the apple I stamped it with the My Teacher Rocks! stamp set
I used DCWV Grade School Pack to cover the clipboard Front/Back.
The word that says "I love my Teacher" came with the Grade School Paper Pack.

BTW, Emma has designed a special stamp called Race for a Cure ~ By purchasing this set you are partnering with My Creative Time to help "Stamp Out" breast cancer. For each set that is purchased, My Creative Time will donate $2 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure!

1st Try
I saw this at the Sweet Pea Stamps blog and wanted to try it out. I thought it came out pretty good. I really like it. Let me know what you guys think. I colored the image with Copics and some of Sakura's Glitter Pens.
The image is called Ching-Chou Kuik's Carnation of May. I love coloring her images. It is just so detailed. I really do need to start writing down though what colors I use. Unfortunately it's really hard because all my pens are on the table and I could never decide what colors to use before hand. I am more like what ever comes to mind kinda coloring.

Altered Frame
Hello Everyone,
This is a project I was working on Today, well some of last night too. It mostly came together this morning because last night out of frustration I was on the verge of tossing it out.. hehehe~ This wasn't my first altered frame but my 3rd but the 1st 2 was really easy. I gave it to my son's 2nd grade teacher. I wish I didn't forget to take a picture of that one though.
This one was a headache, I think it's because the glass frame was actually glued to the frame already and I really wanted to put a ribbon on it but couldn't. Also I have less than 2 weeks till the end of my pregnancy and my body aches when I am crafting since I love to craft standing up.
Well here is a picture of what I made, it's a Xmas gift for my Mother....

Well here is a picture of what I made, it's a Xmas gift for my Mother....
I got this frame from Michaels last night. I bought 2 but I think I will be returning 1 of them because like I said it was just so difficult for me to alter it, maybe because I am tired, but it was just frustrating....
The paper line I used is K & Company - Wild Raspberry. I then inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Tea Dye. I also sprayed the whole frame with some Tattered Angels - Glimmer Mist in Pearl.
This sentiment is from HSN's 3 Birds Line and also flocked.
This flower is made out of scrap paper from the same line. I used the Stacking Daisy Punch and just curled them with a pencil tip. The bling is Imaginisce I-Rock.
The flower is from Prima, brad is from Ki Memories it came glittered. The Butterfly is Martha Stewart Punch, which I used UTEE to emboss it and Martha Stewart Fine clear glitter. The pearls I just found in my stash, but I think it's from Michaels.
Again I used the Marvy Uchida Stacking Daisy Punch on this one and just curled the edges. The bling is from HSN's 3 Birds line.
I think towards the end I am pretty happy with the results, I hope my mom likes her Christmas Gift.
