Invites and Thank you Cards

I can't believe it is Saturday already.  Since I came back from vacation a week ago the days has gone shorter and there just doesn't seem to be enough hours of the day to do anything.  For today I just wanted to share the invitations that I made for my son's Christening.
This is a 5 x 7 card
My base is Bazzil
Cream Paper is Recollections
Vellum where I printed out the information is also from Recollections
The Cross that you see in the background is a Stamp from SU!
I made 30 of these

Here is the one that I made for my daughter's 3rd Birthday, which was also celebrated the same day:
I used my Gypsy Girl and Cricut for this
I welded Tinkerbell into a frame that I saw in the Storybook Cartridge
I really don't remember the cut anymore, sorry :(  I also made 30 of these
For the wings they are glittered I used Recollection Glitter Paper and then for the Eyes I just colored it in.
I used red sharpie for her lips and some stickles for the band on her hair.
The wings I made half in Lime Green Glitter paper and Blue Glitter paper, which I didn't get a picture of.  To be honest the reason why there is no info on this invite was because I sent them all out and didn't leave a copy for me :( so next visit I have to ask my mom for hers.

This is the Thank You cards that I just finished yesterday:
I had to make 40 of these, we had more family members that came than expected which was a good thing.  Thank God my mom always plans ahead when making restaurant reservations
This is a regular 4.25 X 5.5 size card
Ribbon is from Michaels
PP is DCWV Nana's Baby Boy Stack
I used My Creative Times Curly Label Die, the coordinating Stamp Frame from the Inspiring Words (Accents) Stamp Set and the sentiment from the So Grateful For You Stamp Set

I hope you guys like my project, Before I forget, TradeFish Designs will be releasing 4 new stamp sets on Monday but if you visit today you will actually see some sneak peaks already.

Also, TradeFish Designs has reached the 10,000 hits mark and that means that they are going to give away a $20 gift certificate towards the TradeFish Designs store!  Now, to get your chance to win this price you need to become a follower of the TFD Blog and leave a comment HERE!  If you are already a follower all you need to do is leave a comment.  Winners will be announced on Wednesday, August 10th!

Have A Great Weekend!

My Creative Time's Design Team Day

For today's project we are to create a Shaped card.  I will be showcasing the My Favorite Sayings Stamp Set, I think this is one of my favorite stamps sets,  I know it's hard.  I love all of My Creative Time's Stamps. I have 2 cards for you today.  I couldn't really decide what I wanted to show you, it's so hard to create after coming back from vacations but when you are working with something you love it makes it easier.  I really love how both these turned out and I hope you do too.

For this card I just used my Lacey Circle Spellbinders to make the base of the card.
Recipe:
Lacey Labels used was sized at 4.25
I used my white signo pen to add some faux stitching
Image is from Designed2Delight called Garden Party
I added a little bit of stickles in the middle of the flowers.
I also added some glossy accents on the pot where the cupcake is sitting and on the wings of the bee.
Sentiment is My Creative Time's My Favorite Sayings stamped in SU! Pacific Point, I just curved the sentiment so it sits nice on top of the image.
I added some button of course with some Twine.  I believe the buttons are from PTI

This is being entered to the following Challenges:
Here is my 2nd card:
Recipe:
Lady Bug is from the Create a Critter Critter Cartridge cut at 2.5
I welded the Shadow for the base of my card together
DP is K and Co Berry Sweet Stack

Scrapmaster's Paradise Blog Hop

Welcome to Day 2 of the SP and Company Color Hop! If you have arrived here from Ivette's blog, then you are on the right track! If you get lost or want to start over, our Color Hop starts at the Scrapmaster's Paradise Blog because you wouldn't want to miss Day1 of the Hop!

Each month, the SP and Company Design Team will give you sneak peeks of new releases and projects from  from the 7th to the 10th, we will be having a Color Hop each month using SP and Company products.

This month's color is Lime Green.  Make sure you play along with this month's challenge for a chance to win some awesome SP and Company prizes!
Here is the project that I made with the stamp that I was assigned with Big Bold Background:
Big Bold Background Stamp

Recipe:
Card Size 4.25 x 5.5
Paper is PTI  in Royal Velvet
Bazzill Limeade Paper, using Stampin Up! Scallop Punch
I used VersaMark and Silver embossing powder for my SP and Co Stamp called Big Bold Background now this stamp is approximately 3 x 3 but maybe bigger and it stamps beautifully, you can actually line them up perfectly as you can see.
The cake image is a Digi also from SP and Co called Simple Wedding Cake, no for this can you believe it I actually didn't use my copics.  I wanted to try and color it just using my PSE.  I have several brushes that I have saved and I decided to add that to the cake in silver glitter as a decoration.  The butterflies on the cake are from a Martha Stewart Punch.
The Sentiment is also from SP and Co called Mix N' Match Sentiments: Occasions Stamp Set
Ribbon is from Michaels

The challenge is simple! Create a project using the color Lime Green. Your creation can be monochromatic (different shades of Lime ) or just mainly focus on Lime.  Please make sure that this month’s color is used in about 90% of your project. It is not a requirement to use SP and Company stamps for this challenge, but we’d love it if you do! You can link up your project on the Scrapmaster’s Blog HERE

You have until the 15th of the month (11:59 pm EST) to enter. The one random winner will win an SP and Company stamp set of their choice.
