"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

CORN LILIES / WFCo New Release, FTL #128 & WMSSC #44...

We had another gorgeous day in the mid 70s! And another day playing outside! This new image from the Wax Fruit Company is called Corn Lilies, and here I paper pieced it... I just love that technique!!!

The sentiment is from a set called Encouraging Words. I think what I love most about this set is being able to color in the focal word to match!

I get great inspiration each week from Clean & Simple Stamping's Fall-to Layout... I rarely miss it! Sometimes I manage to stick to clean and simple, but I admit that most of the time I get more complicated with it than I should! This card is based on this week's Fall-to Layout and the challenge at Wee Memories to base something on our source of inspiration.

Have a great night!

LADYBUG POPPY PARADE / WFCo New Release, CPS #205, PTE and WMSSC #43...

I have a new digi out today over at the Wax Fruit Company, called Ladybug Poppy Parade! I love the thought that ladybugs could have their own little parade!

It's actually a mini set, containing the image and 2 sentiments...

I used October Afternoon Thrift Shop paper for the background & colored the digi with Copics. Th scallop is the big one from PTI, and that paper is from SU!. The sketch is from Card Positioning Systems.

Other challenges I played with:
Papertake Weekly: Put on the Glitz (rhinestones)
Wee Memories: Live Laugh Love (happy/funny image!)
Crafts and Me: Things with Wings
Copic Creations - Warm Colors
Digital Tuesday: use a die cut
Top Tip Tuesday: Stitching
I Did It Creations: Bling it Up!

Bye for now...

RASPBERRY BASKET / WFCo Release, SSSC #103 & WMSSC #42...

Whew - I've been working on this post for hours! You know those days when some things just seem to take forever? I bought some doilies last weekend & I've been itching to use one - lol!

This is one of four new images I put in the shop today... Raspberry Basket. They are available separately or as a group, which is called Buckets, Baskets & Bowls of Berries!

I used the sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge for this card, and the peach paper and ribbon were scraps I had out on my table, which fulfills the Wee Memories challenge. This also qualifies for the Ooh-la-la Creations Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!

I used the gorgeous colors from CR84FN... I know I've been using these colors A LOT lately... I just can't get enough of them!!! And the super darling sketch is from Wee Memories! What a perfect combination!!!

I used Crystal Effects on the chocolate to give it that shiny, yummy appeal. the wrap is paper pieced... just run that designer paper through your printer!!! The scalloped heart is felt from Giantdwarf - tell her Arielle sent you!!! She's awesome & she has the samplers back in stock - so hurry!!!

SWEET KIKI / MTSC #87 & WMC #18...

I've had an interesting week at work so far, lightening hit our cable internet box on Monday & again today. And who says lightening doesn't strike in the same spot twice!

I played along with Mercy's cool sketch this week - YAY! Double YAYAY because my card last week was one of the top 5 of Mercy's faves!!! I also played along with Jenny for the first time over at Wee Memories - her theme this week was buttons, brads & bling - hard decision for me, but I settled for bling! Predictable, I know!

That's it for now - thanks for dropping by!
