Groovi Christmas

 Hi

Days are flying by and it will soon be Christmas!!!!!!!

My crafty friend Eve, bought me a set of 'Twas The Night ' pre printed parchment toppers from Claritystamp for my Christmas gift last year.

They are ready to use as they are or you can remove some of the ink from the reverse side to make it white on the front, like the one on the left.

I  added a square embossed border and abit of grid work.

Here is one made into a card with a grid border.

I love them.

Groovi Again

 Hi

Following my last few posts I have more Groovi for you today.

These are 8x8 so will be kept for my own use.

This one is one of the French Grid plates with a seperate piece for the middle.

A simple border on this one and a Japanese lady in the middle.

Again, a simple border and seperate centre piece of a boy on a swing.

I love both these plates, the large grid and one the the Japanese collection.

I hope you like them.

My Craft Group challenge is another Groovi card using an Owl plate and the theme is 

A Man Card

I did alot of Groovi when I was laid up with my sore foot so now I am making all the pieces into cards.

I loved doing this one as I love all the snipping out.

I thought the leaf brads fitted quite well too-

As you know I have got back into my Groovi groove so here are afew cards I have made.

This is a large card 8x8 using a piece of coloured parchement that I have previously diecut the centre from so just used the peice left over for the border.

The centre is a picture included in a parcel from Clarity which I coloured and matted onto various layers.

Random Butterflies in circles on a shaped base card. 

This one is  a 7x 7  and using the Anne Grid with one of the uncoloured Poppets in the centre.

I'll be keeping these for my own use!!

I have a lovely card for my Craft Group challenge this week.

Circles

I made  a Groovi Circle with one of their Grid plates and added a cute Poppet in the centre which I lightly coloured with Polychromo pencils. I also used Clarity designer paper for the backing.

Sweet or what.

Cupcake Inspiration DT

 Good Morning

Today is my first  Post as A Design Team member for Cupcake Inspiration Challenge Blog.

Each month is usually a Colour Palette or a specific theme, and this one is.....................

This is the card I made using a Groovi butterfly placed on three colours of card which match the inspiration picture colours. 

Finished off with brown gingham ribbon and a sentiment tag, and of course, afew mini punched butterflies.

I hope you will pop over and join in the challenge.

There was no craft on Friday as the shop was shut for a long holiday weekend, both Saturday and Monday are holidays here in Spain.

So I thought I would clear afew cards from my files, getting ready for the New Year!!!

This idea came from one of my Groovi ladies.  She had seen this style on Pinterest or Instagram so I thought I would have a go.

Just punch some hearts and arrange in a tree shape.

Very quick, easy cards but still looks good.

Abit of Groovi

 Good Morning All

I have 4 Groovi cards to share today. They are fairly quick to make except the green one which is more delicate.

This one has a little bit of colouring .

This one is done in metallic pens on the right side instead of the Groovi tool.

I'm happy with them all and will probably keep for my own use.

I use my offcuts of coloured parchment to do the border, I have to use a lightwave to do this.

I added a Santori image on designer paper.

All very pretty.

I will be keeping this card for my personal use.

The first one is a Sympathy card and the second a Get Well card.

We are going to Benidorm today for afew days.  Staying in the old town near to Poniente beach.  Hope the weather stays good for us.

 Good Morning All

I have this lovely Owl to show you today.

It's made using a Groovi plate and I snipped parts of the border out, as I love doing it.

I used a patterned card blank in Kraft card and attahced with bronze brads.

I did colour the owls in shades of brown.

What do you think??

A lovely one for a New Baby baby mounted onto pink card then a pink Mirri card.

The backing for this card is made with Pixi Powders and the Groovi work is a Fairy sat in the Moon.

Both quite easy Groovi plates to use.

Someone Special for MTTC

 Good Morning All

My Time To Craft Challenge this time is chosen by MAria and her theme is

Celebrate Someone Special

My Someone Special is my eldest Grandaughter Hollie, and its her Birthday later in the year and this is the card I have made for her.

This is an 8x8 scalloped card and  I used the Paris grid plate from Clarity Groovi to do the border. and added an LOTV topper.

Peeloffs for the sentiments of Happy Birthday and For Someone Special.

Here is another card using a Groovi grid plate, Toulouse.

I have these squares of coloured parchment left over from when I cut squares of parchment for my group.  I put the die in the middle then I have the leftover to make a card with.

This one I posted off to a friend in the UK.

It is coloured with pearly pens following the Grooves on the plates, takes abit of practice but very effective.

I have been getting back into my Groovi recently and this is one I made for the boxes.

I used a couple of different plates and bold, blue brads to attach.

This one is obviously a Mans card.  A random topper and diecut sentiment.

Groovi Circles

 Good Morning All

As you may know, I love doing Groovi Grid work and these two are using the circle grids.  They are designed to have a circle image slotted into or under the inner edge but for these two I just added a  plain circle and a  bold diecut sentiment.

I think there are 4 circle grids and this is two of them.

Groovi Christmas

 Good Morning All

Last weekend I got stuck into my Christmas cards, making some and recycling some from last year.

These are all new makes and this is using two plates from my Groovi collection.  It is green parchment matted onto a green turquoise Mirri card.  I found two lovely snowflake brads in my stash.

These next two cards are using a large plate I borrowed from one of my craft group ladies.  It is nine small images of Christmas trees so I made a load of them thinking they would make nice quick cards which they did.  I think they look quite classy.

Then this last one is my favourite plate for Christmas, it also looks good adding glitter to the swirls too.

I have written most of my cards as we are going back to UK early November for my Mum's 100 birthday, so I want to leave all the ones for posting with my sister for her to post for me.
