Tags with side Pockets

Good Morning All

I have some tags to show you today.

I got my inspiration from Gi Kerr on You Tube .

I really enjoy making these as it is like a secret pocket and a surprise when you open and see what's inside.

Tags & More Tags

 Good Morning All

I have been making tags for Journals.

These were a freebie from somewhere and they came with the pocket.

I showed these giant double tags the other day but I needed to make pockets for them.

I came across a You Tube tutorial by Pink Monach Prints and it fitted the bill perfectly.

It has multi pockets so numerous tags and ephemera can be fitted in.

I have made a You Tube video that shows them off better.

Cards using Tags

Good Morning All

I made some tags (Here) before Christmas to sell at the Craft Farye and some didn't sell so I made them into cards.

I took them to craft club last Friday and used odds of papers and card that I keep there, along with ribbons and embellishments.

They are all 5x7 and everything was from the boxes at Craft club, all I had to do when I got them  home was to add inserts and bag them up to go in box ready to give away.

Some of my ladies are quite impressed with how many cards I make at club.

I think once, I made about 15 Christmas cards !!!!!
All the backing paper I used are Mulberry paper, quite old fashioned but one of the ladies broought a bundle in, so may aswell use it.
I love the brown one, it has a sparkle running through it.

Good Morning All

A couple of tags today.

All made from bits and bobs from stash

I shall be parcelling ones like  this in packs of 6 to sell on the stall in November.

If they dont sell I shall use as card toppers.

More Tags

Good Morning All

I made these tags a while ago.

It is a great way of using scraps too.

They will go in the box to sell at a Christmas fayre in November.

It is quite hard trying to find bits to go on ones for men, they are a pain aren't they????

I was gifted these little wooden tools, perfect for the job.

I really do mean that everything is from scraps, corners of papers, one off flowers, bits cut from book pages,

odd bits of ribbon and string.

We all have odd gems lying around our desk.

The only thing cut from a new sheet is the tag bases, cut from Kraft card.

Tags Galore

Good Morning All

As this post goes live we will be on our way to Alicante train station to board a train to Seville.

I have visited this city very briefly, years ago, but John hasn't and he has wanted to go for a while, so off we trot.

I will show some pics of this beautiful city  when we get back.

Anyway, onto todays creation of lots of Tags.

My sister gave me some papers that she did not want, from magazines, so I put one lot to good use here.

Some of you will recognise these papers from quite afew years ago, I think it was Making Cards Magazine.

Glittered paper flowers.

Organza ribbon bow with a butterfly.

Satin twine that someone gave, me with a resin rose.

Same as above but with  a sentiment added.

Just butterflies.

I will put these in the bar to sell and if they dont sell I shall use for card toppers.

I am making things now for a Christmas fair in November.

Last year I sold afew packs of embellishments, so these may go towards that.

Lots of ideas going around in my head.

Metal / Charms for Allsorts

Good Morning All

Allsorts Challenge time again, hosted this week by Helene.
She would like to see Metal or charms.

I made a large tag.
Added afew metal charms and a filigree butterfly
XCut heart die
Lace trim
Decided it needed something over the 'bingo' card so added a Santoro topper.

I might make this into a Mothers Day card, what do you think?
UPDATE -
Made it into a card today (Saturday)
Looks good.

Bag of Tags

Good Morning All

I told you a while ago that I had joined a group on Facebook, well this is one of the swaps I made.

A Bag of Tags.

My swap partner has  received it and loved, thank goodness!!!!

The swap was to make a bag or a box and include 6 tags in it.

I made loads of these tags to sell at the Fayre.

I love making them.

And this was a special one I made as an extra.

Shabby Chic and lots of homemade stuff on here - 

doily, bead danglers and flowers.
