Chincha Films Korea Burn AND The Creators Project

Following on from the Future Shorts video, I decided to carry on with the Chincha Films series by forcing my boyfriend to make commissioning videos of Korea Burn, a regional version of Nevada's epic Burning Man festival, and The Creators Project, an annual Seoul music and art event.

Korea Burn was the second event of its kind on the peninsula, although this one was decidedly larger, with hundreds of people flocking to Gijipo beach, 3 hours from Seoul, for the overnight extravaganza.

The Creators Project was awesome. I was invited as press, representing Chincha, and interviewed the global manager of VICE magazine and the creative director of Intel for the film. The team also interviewed IDIOTAPE, the Korean electro rock band who headlined the concert.

G'Old Korea Vinyl

G'Old Vinyl Korea is a website playlist curated by Gopchang Jeongol, a basement bar in Hongdae, Seoul that plays vintage Korean tunes from the 50's onwards.  They recently held an after-party for a Toro Y Moi gig (which I went to!) and pictures taken on the night by my photographer friend Wonny Bunny have been published on The Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project.

There's one shitty picture of me covering my eyes and looking like a dweeb if you want to search through the rest of the photos on Facebook.

M.I.A Exclusive!

I've loved M.I.A ever since some hot Australians played Paper Planes to me on a surfing holiday in Biarritz one summer (good vibez) and now she's baaaaack to receive more of my adoration with her recently released song Bad Girls.

The video is premiering today on Noisey, VICE's new music channel on YouTube and right here:

Onesies

Although the most disgusting thing I've ever seen is a dummy-sucking drunk student dressed in a babygro on a night out at Oceana in Cardiff, I'm still partial to an adult onesie.  It's the ultimate in pyjamas, and looks way better than a slankie.  Although admittedly, slankies are super sexy.

OnePiece™ fueled the trend for onesies in Norway after sewing together a hoodie and joggers in a spot of morning-after DIY.  They've come far since, opening their first UK Store in Boxpark, Shoreditch yesterday (Monday 28th of November), spreading the joy of comfort, style and fun even further. Get down to their store in Boxpark and say: ‘I’m spontaneous, not too serious, not too cool. Confident with no worries, so I would like to jump in and join you!’ – and they’ll give you a £20 gift-card - If you want to get it online, type code 85237 upon checkout on www.onepiece.com and you’ll get free shipping.

You probably won't look as sickeningly fresh-faced in your OnePiece™as the models in the above video, but at least you'll be toasty warm all winter.
