I know this is pretty late getting up. We've been soooo busy the last week or so. Nick's parents and sister came in town last weekend and then this week my parents are in town. So, it's been a little crazy and we are all off of our schedules ... including Seth!
Anyway, these first pictures are from the Valentine's package my mom sent us. Seth was pretty excited to open his presents and chew the wrapping paper! He got a Valentine book with fuzzy Elmo's on the pages!!! Cute :)
And an adorable "heart breaker" hat with a cute Valentine's day outfit.
He loved the hat ... he like to wear baseball hats like his daddy!
Then on actual Valentine's Day we woke up and Seth opened a little Valentine outfit from me and Nick. We just cuddled in bed ... it's my favorite time of the day. In the morning Seth just loves to eat and then cuddle and play with me in bed. I've been calling him my guard dog because he'll lay with me and be so gentle and soft with me, but when Nick tries to lay down with us and cuddle too (like Saturday mornings) Seth claws at him and scratches his face. It's so funny. He doesn't want anyone else to take his mommy!
This was his cute Valentine outfit. It was a little too big, but we just went with it.
He looks like a gangsta'
Here he is in his "crib"
Daddy and Seth. "Happy Valentine's Day"
We decided to make him look even more gansta', Mexican cholo style ... he was amused!
Then a cowboy bandit
No, i was not trying to look hot and sexy with my hair over my eye. Seth wasn't really cooperating and I believe I am telling Nick to hurry up and take the picture through my teeth. This was the only picture that turned out with Seth actually looking at the camera.
We had a nice Valentine's Day. Nick's parents attempted to watch Seth while we ate dinner and watched a movie. He made it through dinner fine, but then started kind of freaking out and looking around for mom! He's just getting to that age where he wants mom, and dad too! But, it was nice to be on a date with just Nick and I for a change!

Risky Business
I was changing Seth out of his church clothes yesterday and couldn't help but try on these cute sunglasses my mom's friend Dotty gave him. He thought they were great. So, this turned into me singing the famous risky business song that Tom Cruise dances too. Then we started sliding Seth along the wood floor, which led to the camera coming out.
I know the pictures are kind of repetitive, but it was too funny and I couldn't choose between pictures. Seth loved the glasses so much that later we went to dinner at Dotty's house and we put the glasses on him when we left; he kept them on the whole time and didn't even try to take them off ... he was pretty much a stud!Oh, and yes I got a hair cut (she took off about 6 or 7 inches instead of 4) and Chelsea dyed my hair. Pretty much, it was a crazy weekend for my hair! I like the color, but I'm still undecided on the cut.

Drew Carry?
Chelsea came over the other day and she put her glasses on Seth for a minute. We decided he looked a little too much like Drew Carry!!! haha ... Seth thought it was pretty amusing! This is going to be a pretty random post from here on out ... but I guess all my posts are pretty much random!
I just thought Seth looked super cute the other day and snapped a shot ...Then we let him chew on a french fry because he was freaking out when we were eating. Now, whenever we eat he thinks he needs to be eating too. So the french fry at least made him feel like he was a part of lunch! Very rarely to I get to actually eat a hot meal. I'll cook something and then when I serve it Seth freaks out and I have to feed him or else he drives us nuts! So, I end up eating WAY after the fact. (random tangent over now).
I've been priding myself on finding deals and using coupons lately, since we have to money and I'm trying to be thrifty. Anyway, i ordered some clothes from old navy and the children's place online a few weeks ago. They both had a huge clearance plus I found 40% off coupon codes and free shipping! Most of the things I got are for next winter, but this little PJ outfit was too cute to pass up. I got it for $2.00 from old navy! I know, right?
Update on Seth's eating: Thank you for the tips about the peaches. We stopped with the fruits and now he's pretty much back to normal. He's sleeping a lot better, but still waking up a lot earlier than he used to. Obviously, he enjoys eating ...
Last night Nick was on the phone and Seth was sitting next to him and fell right asleep. He was snoring because of the awkward position. He must have been somewhat comfortable because he was asleep there for quite a while.
This morning I was making some cinnamon rolls and Set was hanging out with me in his high chair in the kitchen. He loves to be in there and lately has found more and more ways to "chilax" in it. He usually leans to one side and gets comfortable. But, this morning he made me laugh because he pulled his foot out and used the top as a foot rest. It was pretty funny how comfortable and relaxed he looked. What a character.

Crazy Weekend Part 2 - Seth's Grand Adventures!
Seth has been trying a variety of yummy foods lately including those he likes: Carrots, Sweet Potatoes, green beans; and those he doesn't: Squash and Sweet peas (he literally threw up after eating the peas ... pretty hilarious). But now we have moved on to some more fun foods, fruits mostly! Anyway, he tried peaches for the first time this weekend and loved them. Sometimes they were a bit sour and he would make a crazy baby sour face ... i couldn't quite snap a picture of the face. But, here are a few of the snapshots.right after the "sour face"
Just curious if anyone else has ever had problems with their kids once they start fruits? Seth ate peaches three nights in a row and each night wouldn't sleep. We have to wake up with him about every two hours or more and he was just whiny. At first I didn't know what it was, but last night i went back to carrots and he slept fine. So, I'm guessing the fruits gave him gas or a tummy ache or something? Any thoughts?
Nick usually gets Seth in the morning when he wakes up so I can get another half hour or so of sleep, which is great! However, this Sunday I woke up hearing Seth talking away in the living room with Dad. I walked out there and he was just sitting on the couch with Nick watching TV like a big boy, talking up a storm! Too cute!
Sunday Came and it was the SUPERBOWL! Seth's first one. We were all cheering for the Cardinals and therefore had to deck ourselves in red. Nick and Seth had matching outfits. I know that It looks like they're on their way to the world series or something ... but hey it was red and they matched! It was pretty cute!
Seth has spent a lot of time with Nick lately because he's been home a lot more this semester and I've been trying to get some things finished up! So, Seth is really enjoying daddy time.
The most exciting thing that happened this weekend was SETH STARTED TO CRAWL!!!! He hasn't gotten the whole thing all the way figured out, but Nick and I were getting ready to leave for out super bowl party at my grandpa's house and he just jolted forward. There is a video at the bottom. Seth does a lot of screaming and then all of a sudden you'll see him plunge forward! It's been pretty fun watching him learn the last few days.
Watching the game with his football!
Monday Seth's pinkie toe popped through his sock and he thought it was so hilarious ... so did Nick and I, so I had to snap a picture!
Monday night we went to Red Lobster. We had a gift card to use and every time we thought about going it was a weekend night and we didn't want to wait for an hour to eat. Anyway, we went early and there weren't very many people there. It was so nice to just hang out together, and eat yummy food. It was relaxing and so delicious!
Seth sat in a high chair for the first time at a restaurant. Then ended up next to us in the booth ... but he was a really good boy!
He tries to grab Nick's scallops off the plate but i caught them before they flew too far.
Okay, here are the videos. Seth is eating peaches on the left and attempting to crawl on the right. Beware of the screaming on the crawling video.

Crazy Weekend Part 1
Warning: A ton of pictures and random events to follow ...
So, Seth is scooting all over the place these days. He scoots mostly backwards and tend to find himself stuck under the couch several times a day ... it's pretty amusing! The other day I walked in on Nick changing an explosive diaper ... this was the result! Seth thought it was pretty funny ... and so did we!
On Friday night Nick, Seth my sister, Chelsea, and I went to Costa Vida for dinner. We had some time to kill before me and Chelsea headed to BYU to see Thoroughly Modern Millie. So, we played a few arcade games to pass the time and get some laughs. Seth was our good luck charm for Deal or No Deal ...
He pretty much loved it ... mostly because he gets distracted by flashing lights and music! But, he picked some great cases for us!
Seth says, "No Deal!"
Then Nick and I played a little racing game ... yes, I won. No, I don't know how? The second time Nick won and got a new high score! But, it was pretty hilarious!
Meanwhile, Chelsea and Seth were partying on their own cars!
So, like I mentioned before, Chelsea and I went to see Thoroughly Modern Millie at BYU. We both really love this show. It's a secret wish of mine to have been alive during the "roaring 20's" Kind of that whole Daisy from "The Great Gatsby" lifestyle. I love the clothes, hair, music and everything (except the depression obviously). Also Julie Andrews is in the original movie of which the musical is based of off, and I love her! I own the movie, the show soundtrack and have loved the show practically since I knew it existed.
Anyway, I just had to set you up for how much I love this show. Although, It was a great night with Chelsea, we found ourselves hysterical for a lot of the show. These are some brief reasons:
* Millie was pretty hefty ... yes, I am terrible and mean, but seriously if you know the show it kind of puts a damper on the show.
* I'm pretty sure both Chelsea and I could have sung better than her. This was disappointing because BYU is so competitive for this kind of thing. So, I don't really understand how she got the part?
* Mrs. Meers and Trevor Gryadon were absolutely hilarious ... in a good way. They definitely stole the show.
* The audience was in love. I mean seriously, it was full of crazy Mormon couples feeling like sending the message that they were there with the love of their life, to everyone else there. Disgusting displayed of WEIRD PDA.
* Really really long kissing scenes not typical of musical theatre!
* Later we facebook stalked Millie and Jimmy (the male lead) and discovered that they were married in real life ... awkwardly hilariousChelsea and I had so much fun together. Nick watched Seth while we went to the show and it was extraordinarily great to have a girl night out to giggle in confusion until our stomachs hurt!
Saturday morning we went to get some donuts as a happy little family. We went to the Provo bakery!
Seth was enjoying daddy's hip hop jams on the way there.
Gangsta Seth scooting around again while we were eating donuts!
part Two of this weekend will come tomorrow ... I'm so tired I have to go to bed!
