15mm Bolt Action British Commission

The last few pieces of Al's British army Bolt Action commission.

So three mortar teams, two PIAT teams and a couple of left over infantry.

Next up on the Commission front from Al are about 140 WW2 US Paratroopers, again Battlefront miniatures for Bolt Action

WW2 Commission-British Infantry and Paras

Not all of the British given too me were paratroopers, most of these are regular infantry, so no Denision Smock for them....

So 8 paratroopers, lots of brenguns and an officer.

A selection of 'Tommys' regular British infantry

All are battlefront miniatures but bases as singles for Bolt Action games, or what ever else Al wants to use the for.

WW2 British Commission

A little mechanized support for Al's Brits.

These are Bren Gun Carriers.  I think the models are by Forged in Battle as they came with cast on bases.

One thing with these models is that the Bren Gunner does not fit in.  The solution, cut the end off of the Bren Gun, drill a small whole into the where the Bren Gun should be mounted and glue it in.....simples!!  Obviously you then just insert the gunner figure lol

WW2 Commission

When I have so my much of my own to paint and complete why do friends give me commissions to do for them!  But I am too nice and never say no.

These are Battlefront WW2 British Paratroopers, they are actually a repaint as my friend bought them as a part painted project.

I must admit I did enjoy painting these figures and am quite pleased with how they turned out.

The pictures are not the best, the figures are not as dark as they look.

Napoleonic Commission Work

Ok the last batch of the Napoleonic commission from Al at PAW.  a few British units and some generals.
Not much to say about these, apart from they have boosted my interest in Napoleonic s again (damn). But I will be disciplined and wait until I have finished my Maurice SYW and ACW Confederates.

Napoleonic British

These are Al's British, below are the first two units I have painted hussars and infantry, obviously a work in progress....
The cavalry are Old Glory and the infantry are AB (I think)

Al is using these for FOG Napoleonic rules, so 12 figure cavalry units and 24 figures infantry...

more to come.....
