Christmas in July

It's time for the Bad Kitty Cats Festival of Chaos
and Samantha and Mr. Tigger are hosting.
This week there is an optional theme of Christmas in July.

I looked for a Christmas picture of me when I found some pictures that we had never posted before. And I was featured so I thought that this would be a great day to post them! Just after last Christmas and before my Food Lady's Birthday the Big Janitor brought in a box and told my Food Lady that it was a combination Christmas/Birthday present. I love boxes so I ran right over to help open that box. What is this? A stick was in the box.
I wonder why the Big Janitor wanted to give my Food Lady a stick.
It is tasty but I don't think she'll want to lick it???Oh, there is more here than just a stick. There is the smooth flat thing and some curled up wires, like I'm not allowed to put the bitey on! Hey, I think that the stick is a pen. Maybe if I had some paper I could write with it. I could plan my blog posts ahead of time when my Food Lady isn't around to help me type! I still like that pen and it's great that there is a holder for it
so it won't get lost.
And there is another one of those computer mousies... Now, I get it - all of this is for my Food Lady's computer!
This will help me for when I want to blog too!

Tomorrow is China Cat's 11th Birthday...

China Cat's birthday is tomorrow
and I have the greatest idea of what to get for her...
Temptations!
She loves them and she loves me
so she will probably share them with me!!! What a great birthday idea! I will hide them from her until tomorrow!

Friday Fun

Oh yeah, it's Friday... It's time for the weekend. What...I was just rolling around...

Kashim and Othello had a contest
that China Cat and I entered.
We just received some presents from them for participating!
I was thrilled to see my name on this envelope!
It had terrific smells on it,
after all it did come all the way from Austria! My Food Lady helped us open the envelope
and there was a letter from Kashim and Othello!
And, see at the top, there is a picture of them!
I really like the way they look - so very floofy! Look at all the toys!

Flower Friday

I know that I am not
supposed to be up on the counter.
But I couldn't resist.
I smelled something up there
that smelled very interesting.
Kind of like an outside smell in my kitchen.
I jumped up right away
and found a lovely bouquet of flowers.
Big Janitor brought them home for my Food Lady.
Since the Big Janitor was outside, I felt like it was OK
to examine these wonderful smelling flowers. Of course, my Food Lady thought I was very cute
and ran to get the flashy box,
before Big Janitor came back inside -
at which point we would both be in trouble!

Whew - we were safe. ~~~~~
sniff, sniff, sniff...

I was really enjoying smelling these new smells. After taking my pictures,
my Food Lady put me down on the kitchen floor
so I ambled on over to my food bowl for a snack.

That was fun!

Sprechen Sie Deutsch???

Finally my Food Lady has come back to do my typing for me!

China Cat and I were a few of the winners

I would like to say congratulations

and it was fun having my Food Lady

that she learned in high school!

Speaking of German,
my Food Lady and Big Janitor went to a festival
last weekend called Strassenfest.
Two years ago, when I was only 6 months old,
my Food Lady put this shirt on me -
it was from the Strassenfest. OK, I did look incredibly cute in it
but I really would rather not have clothes put on me. Anyway, now that I am 3 1/2 years old
you can truly see just how small this shirt is
compared to 3 years ago when I was a 6 month old kitten. There is no way that it would even go over my head! Hey, it's time for the Friday Ark to board!

Tummy Toesday

I love rolling around.
I always get good petting time when I roll around.
Who could resist this tummy?
Not to mention, those multi-colored toes?
