Felling fee hiked to Rs 400 a tree

A security deposit of Rs 400 per tree is now required for individuals and Rs 1,000 for commercial establishments. This adjustment was made due to previously inadequate tariffs.

Recruitment for 4,400 govt jobs to begin this month
The Uttarakhand government is set to start recruiting for 4,405 Group C positions in September across various departments. The UKSSSC will manage the examinations and announce the schedule on September 15. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami highlighted the importance of timely job provision. Positions include police constables, forest constables, and revenue assistants.
