Squid people, Axel Sauerwald

Here is a smaller project I did over the last week or two. I get to do a lot of character design at work, but I still decided to explore character design and shape language in my free time as well. Took visual traits from squids and broke them down into their simplest geometric shapes and translated it into a shape language which I could then apply to a multitude of different characters. The idea was to show, that all characters belong to the same group while each character is still unique…
