Pressure is placed on the ball through the web. With the elbow locked you can get some really good resistance throughout the upper extremity all the way up to the shoulder.   ✨Placing the powerweb over the container like this makes it easier to engage the entire upper extremity in this exercise, and doesn’t require a strong second hand to hold it in place!  2️⃣Place the medicine ball onto the putty. Push the ball down into the putty as much as you can until you hit the table.
