People should be a lot more careful about saving their favorite NSFW artwork. Regular NSFW artists already have a pretty good chance of quitting this mess and deleting everything. Now imagine artists who create taboo content and could have their lives turned upside down if they're exposed the chances of them wiping everything before they leave are huge.

I've been doing extensive work tracking down backup links for artists who quit and deleted their galleries. So far, I've archived around 200 artists in this list.

It's honestly amazing that someone is willing to spend their own money to keep a server running that hosts backups for thousands of images. But it's like holding up a boulder with a toothpick. Sooner or later, those backups could disappear too. That person could lose their personal server at any time, decide it's no longer worth maintaining, or simply shut it down and with it, a huge portion of the Inkbunny archive and related backups could vanish overnight.

In the past, there was another major Inkbunny backup, and it's gone now. As a result, many older artists have disappeared forever. The world of lost artwork is volatile and fragile. The traces that remain are weak, and they can disappear if nobody takes the time to preserve them.

Save the artwork you love, and share it with other fans of those artists. Don't let the pieces that brought you joy disappear forever.
