Fussy dog NOT with MerseyRaw

I’ve actually found a food my fussy dog will eat and when I say fussy I mean nearly 4 years of searching. I struggled to get one tiny meal down her now she’s eating twice a day and even sits wanting more Thank you so much

Buster's banquet.

I've just put my bulldog Buster onto raw food. Wasn't sure if he would take to it. My nephew, who is a already a customer of yours recommended giving yourselves a try. Website is easy to use, and delivery was so quick, with the courier contacting me with a time slot. Buster's first meal was beef and chicken mince, which he devoured and left the bowl spotless. Selection is amazing and well priced and Buster loves it ❤️. Definitely will recommend to friends and family. Great job 👏 👍 Mersey Raw.

My dog absolutely loves this food

My dog absolutely loves this food and has never been healthier than she is now at the ripe old age of 11! The customer service team are always so helpful. I really rate this company and have recommended them to a number of friends who are equally as happy!

Fantastic!

Had a subscription for the past few months and have absolutely no complaints. All deliveries have arrived promptly and the customer service has been excellent whenever I've interacted with them. Great quality food and my dog loves it! I would highly recommend giving Mersey Raw a go!

The product is good

The product is good, well pleased. dog gives me no peace until she's had her bowl full. But-- the last delivery contained half the tubs broken, so as the meat thawed blood oozed out. messy

We were a bit hesitant to switch to raw…

We were a bit hesitant to switch to raw food, but Mersey Raw has been amazing! The minces are top quality, and Ziggy goes crazy for the dried treats. The bone broth has really boosted his energy, and he’s more excited than ever for mealtimes.
Their customer service is top-notch, and with next-day delivery it means that we never run out.
I would highly recommend Mersey Raw for anyone considering making the switch to raw.

Placed my first order and I have no complaints at all. Delivery arrived in full, really quickly and when I have made contact with any queries I have received really fast responses. Good quality meat, which the dog loves. Highly recommended

Both my dogs and 3 cats are fed raw

Both my dogs and 3 cats are fed raw. Cats prove more fussy with the meats and some brands will not touch. Fed for the first time this morning with Mersey Raw and all pets devoured it. Nothing left at all in the cats bowls which is really unusual. Fantastic customer service and delivery was really quick..Thank you and will be back..

Quick

Quick, easy and good quality! Duke loves it and lots of chicken free options which is super important for this dally! Orders ready for collection quickly after submitting order! Bone content was a little high for Duke so I’ve purchased a few boxes of meat only too! Love the storage tubs, makes defrosting and storing clean and tidy!

Profits come before customer service or the welfare of the dog

I have been driven to write a review after my last 2 (out of 3 in total) have fallen way short of the standard I expect to receive with regards to my orders of raw dog food.

My previous order arrived defrosted and leaking. Mersey Raw advised me to simply refreeze and use it when I asked for it to be replaced. They made it clear that they would not replace it. I decided (erroneously as it turns out) to give them a second try.

The latest order arrived with 13/30 tubs smashed and broken, several items defrosted and leaking. My first instinct was to pick up the phone - it was then I discovered they don’t advertise a phone number. This says a lot to me. I emailed them with images, no response, I posted a review on Facebook and hey presto, a reply. After much wrangling on my part, for them to refund me (as there was no way I would use them again, once bitten twice shy), I was offered less than 50% of the amount I had paid for the damaged goods with the line ‘you can take it or leave it we are not prepared to give you anything else!! Needless to say I have had to accept this as some recompense towards the damaged goods.

I would like their lack of care and consideration to be known by all. The items were damaged as they were loosely thrown into a box way too big for the quantity ordered. Instead of accepting this, they sought to exonerate themselves of all blame. It is a shame that we cannot upload photos here to highlight the chaos that was the contents of the parcel that arrived.

To make things clear, I had a 10% discount on my order which made each of the 30 tubs I ordered £2.70. 13 of these were damaged beyond use and yet more defrosted. I requested my money back on these items. I got £18 back from them whereas the value of the smashed tubs alone was £35.10. Be warned. To add insult to injury my husband got a nasty cut trying to sort out the good from the bad. From a health and safety point of view this is concerning.

I would not recommend this company to anymore feeding their dogs raw food.

I would like to highlight that the welfare of our customers and their pets come much before profits. We want to provide confidence and trust in our customers which is why we offer such a high quality product. We had not had the chance to respond to your email before you posting the Facebook review, as this was posted very shortly after you had emailed. We always try and respond to email as quickly as possible even during extremely busy periods.

Your first order had began to defrost slightly, as the order was delivered within less than 24 hours I can assure you that the food is safe to freeze - the wool liners and the ice packs maintain this safe temperature. I can see that your first issue was dealt with accordingly and this matter was closed since you did not come back to us.

Your second order arrived with some tubs damaged, this is not the standard we set at Mersey Raw and we recognise that this is not acceptable; this is why we have reviewed our packaging which is now in the process of changing. We have worked tirelessly for almost a year to get this right and we are confident that our new tubs (due to go out in the next month or so) will be a game changer. You were offered 20% on top of the 10% you had already received due to the inconvenience of having to decant the food, we believed that 30% refund was a fair offer given that some of the tubs were only slightly damaged; the food inside being perfectly fine to feed.

Great quality raw food

Our 3 dogs love their raw food from Mersey Raw. The variety and quality of the meat is excellent, we tend to buy the mixed bundles. Customer service is great and the whole process from ordering to delivery is super quick. The boxes are well packaged and still completely frozen when they arrive the next day, even the ones we had delivered during a heat wave. Also love the convenience of the reusable/recyclable plastic containers rather than the messy sleeves some other suppliers use. Definitely a winner all round in our house.

100% for quality

Mersey Raw is without a doubt the best raw food I have found for my French bulldog puppy, and we tried a fair few. The quality speaks for itself. Milo sits patiently waiting for his food then devours it within minutes and licks his bowl completely clean. Easy to order, always next day delivery and all comes still frozen solid. You can see the passion that goes into this food. Thank you for caring about our fur babies :)

Both my dogs love the raw food, never had any issues with delivery and the boxes are perfect size for our freezer. We've tried many different brands but we're happy to stick with mersey :)
