The management team—Andy, Luke, and Jessica—made the entire project incredibly streamlined and smooth, accommodating all of our requests without hesitation. The installation team, Jack and Ben, did an amazing job removing the old conservatory roof and installing the new one efficiently. Additionally, Jack the plasterer and his assistant provided spotless, high-quality work, while the electrician’s contributions ensured a flawless finish. We are absolutely delighted with our new conservatory roof. The attention to detail is fantastic. The workmen were thorough and professional, working hard in extreme heat conditions. They cleaned up after themselves and were friendly, respectful and polite. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. Solicon have delivered exactly as promised. We have replaced our glass conservatory roof with a new tiled version with Velux windows. We are already noticing the benefits. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. All staff were extremely professional, knowledgeable and hardworking. They gave us a schedule of works before the building began and the whole process flowed exactly as they said it would. Their product (a solid conservatory roof) is absolutely superb. Our glass conservatory roof had started leaking so our reason for change was to become watertight again. I didn’t really believe just how much it would keep heat in or out but during the most recent heatwave, with the solid roof and the conservatory blinds down, it kept the conservatory usable, even during the hottest part of the day. Thank you Solicon, you’re awesome. 🤩

Solicon were very clear about what would happen at each stage of the process, which was helpful. Their workmen, Luke and Sam, were amazingly hard working. Despite the heat at the time, they worked literally non-stop each day, and at the end had cleared and cleaned not only the conservatory but the outside area too. The electricians and plasterer were also really pleasant and helpful. An excellent job all round. If you were older and on your own it would be a very good company to work with.

Silicon have been a superbly professional company to deal with, from order to installation to replace our conservatory roof everything went so smoothly and exactly as detailed in the itinerary that I received from Luke the week before the work commenced, which detailed the arrival dates and times with the names of each trade profession that would be undertaking the work and it all happened exactly as detailed. Two days after completion I received a call from Luke to check that we were happy with the completed work.
In summary Solicon have been an extremely professional company to deal with in both project management and quality of product and workmanship.

Writing this in the middle of insane UK heatwave - as it’s made me even more appreciative of the work Solicon did for us.
It’s been a couple of years now, and it’s still the best decision we made for home renovations, putting a solid conservatory roof on. I thought it would help make the conservatory a more usable room within reason, rather than freezing/boiling hot, but I’m absolutely blown away by the difference it genuinely makes, even in extreme weather.
It looks great, whole process was so professional and aftercare has been great.
I picked Solicon based on the good reviews, and also using a smaller company that care, and no high pressure sales pitch, as they don’t need to.

We first contacted Solicon about a conservatory roof replacement, but a chance conversation with Alan (sales) about another job we needed — replacing an old UPVC conservatory end to our kitchen — turned into something much bigger. Every quote we'd had for a full bricks-and-mortar rebuild, complete with underpinning, was well beyond our budget. Solicon came up with a genuinely brilliant alternative, which still included new walls, a window and door, a new roof, all fully plastered and rendered, for a fraction of the cost of a traditional build.
From start to finish, Solicon and Luke, our project manager, have been phenomenal. Communication was excellent throughout, and everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional. The on-site team worked incredibly hard, even through some brutal hot weather, and were polite and easy to have around the whole time. Their subcontractors (windows and plastering) were just as good and represented the company brilliantly. Solicon turned a project we thought wasn't going to be possible into a reality. The end product looks amazing. We can't thank them enough.

From the first visit of the Solicon surveyor I was confident we had chosen the right company.

They provided us with a complete breakdown of the job and despite some pretty wet weather at the start which delayed the strip out, the roof was completed on time and electricians plasterers and painter appeared on schedule.

A couple of very small snags were rectified without question and I was very impressed by the quality of the work carried out by everyone who were really pleasant people as well.

Luke conducted his orchestra with great aplomb and I would have no hesitation in recommending Solicon to anybody looking to replace their conservatory roof.

Quality of work is excellent, all details are perfect. Work was done in a timely and efficient way with thorough cleaning up afterwards.
