Acceptable

I can speak as a costumer and as an owner too. The page works well mostly, the only negative maybe the high commission. That 25% its pretty high I think maximum 20% is really acceptable but 25, its quarter of the final amount, it is a big pull down for the costumer and also for the owner, who own the house, clean the house, makes reparation, develop etc. Because of this high commission the owners need to make higher price too.

Terrible Experience do not use

Terrible, booked a mid class car at Hertz Marrakech, was offered a van (Renault Express), after an hour arguing left with a very small Geely; substantial downgrade, recommend you do not use; Booking.com apparently are fine with me getting a van instead of a car.

Booking.com takes zero responsibility…

Booking.com takes zero responsibility when things go wrong, they tell you to deal with the airline, the car rental or hotel directly, leave them out of it, they are no help when you have an issue!
On a recent trip to South America, we had cancelled flights with no notification, car rentals that were unsafe and accommodations that were well rated but turned out to be dumps, in all cases B.com were no help, they just told us to deal directly.

Great Company to Book With

We always book with booking.com.
Great selection of properties. The filters are very useful so that selection is easier. Paying just before you go is good, as is free cancellations.
The only problem we sometimes experience is not being able to contact the property. The reply to their message sometimes doesn't work.

zero accountability promotes through the platform of scammers and does not refund our money

they are scammers you will lose your money I wonder how booking.com has them on their platform. They took our money and did not return it, but neither did the booking. The European Public Prosecutor's Office should intervene in the booking and check all these complaints. How can they allow themselves to deceive people. scammers and I don't understand how they don't take responsibility and allow scammers to sell services through their platform. Misleading their customers.

misleading room descriptions and useless support

Booking.com had misleading room descriptions (claimed to have outdoor area with a view but was actually just talking about the hotel common area) and then blamed the hotel and claimed they can't do anything when I arrive to find the room I booked actually had a "balcony" looking directly into a wall.

When I asked support, they just pointed their fingers at the hotel and when I asked the hotel, they pointed their fingers at booking.com...

Save yourself the hassle and book directly with the hotels.

Very simple 'Tool and aporoach'

Very simple 'Tool and aporoach', most everything for every 'dummy' to understand and makes live/travelling easy, much more easier as some other APP
Not good: if i'm looking for a specific date i'm not interested to receive an possible other slot, that's confusing

Important info needs to be known ahead of time..

I selected refundable and ended up with nonrefundable.
The manager wanted $200 cash only security deposit. That was unexpected. Had to find a bank before we could check in.
The office was upstairs and my friend had to go up and down to get us registered.
The entryway to the room did not have ramp for walker and there were several high steps, very difficult.
TV remote did not work and never got fixed, so we had to get up and down to change channels.

Booking.com don’t use them.

Booked accommodation through booking.com and the apartment was incorrectly advertised. Not as pictures and ratings. It was discussing, like a prison, items broken and the housekeeping was awful. We had to move for an additional cost. You cannot give feedback on the site unless the owner approves it. So all rating can only ever be positive. Thus not a true representative of what you are booking.

Wish I could give this platform zero…

Wish I could give this platform zero stars!

Booked an apartment that fell well below HSE standards: Mould, Mouse droppings, filthy bedding, broken appliances and dangerous conditions. 4th floor window wouldn’t close. So would not pass regulations for renting. Booking.com are useless! They offer no help in dealing with the rogues that they are happy to profit from! Stay away!! Have now asked AMEX for a chargeback

I booked an apartment in Milan…

I booked an apartment in Milan yesterday and paid but awoke this morning to be told it was already booked out to someone else so I need to cancel. We fly Friday morning so now have to scramble to find somewhere else to stay also they won’t refund me for between 7-12 days and I need the money back now to rebook. They were quick to take it off me but not to return it, I am genius level 3 but not looked after at all.

Booking.com runs promotions for free…

Booking.com runs promotions for free taxis, and when you book hotels they will give you different reasons that you are not eligible for this program. In my case first they gave me the reason that we are more than 6 people so I am not eligible for this, when I said we are 3 people then they said you are not eligible as you put your qatar airways customer number when booking. I asked in the website of booking.com is there anywhere its written that if someone put their qatar airways reference number he will not be eligible? The agent says no its not written its internal policies. This company is running scam offers. It should stop.

Your booking system is very clear to…

Your booking system is very clear to choose different hotel and different rooms. We can choose different room types at the same time. It is quite convenient for small groups with friends to booking.

But the prices for Genius members just reasonable, sometime is not the best price compare with Hotel direct deal.
No rewards/rebates actually.

What couldn't be easier

What couldn't be easier. Just enter the country/island/town/city you want to visit, and select the filters to match your needs, and et voila! You have a choice of places to stay. Then you can click on the map links to see the actual location of the place you have selected, but you can also see other places and their prices nearby to make sure that's what you want. Finally just read the reviews and click "buy now!"

We haven't stayed at the property we have booked yet, but so far the booking process has been smooth.

Big company with non-existent customer care.

Worst customer service I've experienced in a long time.
Had an absolutely awful stay (at Lenox B&B in Hale, Liverpool, UK, don't ever go there) and have been trying to get a refund for months now. The host refuses to contact me back or even reply, and Booking.com have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help me resolve the issue. THEY DO NOT CARE. Their online messaging is beyond useless, they never get back to you within the 24 hours stated, and they haven't ever followed up on my complaints or tried to help me get a full refund. Completely disregarded any customer service and evidently will not help me.
Impossible to contact anyone and if you are lucky enough to get through to someone on the phone, all they do is "escalate it further up" and NEVER get back to you.
AWFUL company, refuse to book anything through them again.

I booked the Wyndham Baymont in Durango…

I booked the Wyndham Baymont in Durango Colorado. It's completely filthy and run down looks absolutely nothing like the pictures advertised on booking.com. I wish I had read the Google reviews first I can't believe booking.com would represent a property like this and then do very little to help you get your money back. I'll never book with them again, lesson learned!

Left us stranded 300 miles from home

We arrive late on a Friday and were sent by text from the owner that the property wasnt available. they sent us to a disgusting alternative that was unsafe and filthy with what looked like urine stained mattresses. It was either an HMO or illegal migrant HMO in my opinion. We got a refund for that but were stranded 300miles from home on a business trip. We asked Booking .com to find us a 4 bed alternative for 5 businessmen on a business weekend. they sent us a link to a "Similar" 4 bed accom that we booked originally but when we got there it was only 2 bed. No good for 5 business men. They said it was our fault because although they sent us a booking link for similar accomodation we should have investigated if what they said was suitable was suitable!!! No refund and shocking customer service. regularly cutoff and approx 6 hours of phone calls.

it was not possible on your website to make complaints after stay on Landmark Plus Luxury this was a desaster. I got not the appartment what i booked,no internet,no answer on my messages/calls

What i dont like! It is verry complicated do make complaints after stay on a location, almost unpossible.
It would be helpful to make this process easier. I use in the last time often other Booking platforms of easier complaint process. I am not verry often dissatisfied but if it should be easier to do make complaints
