Learning at the TEFL Academy was absolutely amazing. Tutor support was the amazing experience. Whenever I had any questions to ask I always had answers. Most importantly learning how to teach English online was the best thing that ever happened to me. I wish I could have done this earlier. I realised it could have helped me in my daily job of teaching junior secondary school students in my country.

Don’t give this company your credit card information. I had a discount code and got an invoice of what I would pay over the 3 months for the installment plan. They charged the correct amount for the first month and charged me the regular rate the other two months even though that is not what the invoice was for. Don’t trust this company.

UPDATE: The TEFL Academy sent me an email that there was a glitch in their system that wouldn’t allow the discount. So now I have to cancel the original installment plan and get invoiced for the remaining payment and choose a refund of the discount on what I have already paid or pay less on the final invoice. Certainly a company that cannot be trusted as it has glitches in its payment system and now I’m getting the run around on how to fix it.

I’m really happy I chose The TEFL Academy for my TEFL qualification. I had been looking into different courses for a while, and I’m glad I went with this one.

The course was easy to follow and well organised, but what I appreciated most was that it didn’t just focus on theory. There was a lot of practical information that actually made me think about how I would approach a real lesson and deal with different situations in the classroom.

I also liked being able to study at my own pace, which made it much easier to fit the course around my other commitments. The material was clear without feeling overly complicated, and I found the assessments useful for checking whether I had actually understood what I was studying.

I finished the course feeling much more confident about starting my teaching journey, and I’m very pleased with the result I achieved in the final exam. I would definitely recommend The TEFL Academy to anyone considering getting a TEFL qualification, especially if you want something flexible but still genuinely useful and practical.

The TEFL Academy Level 5 Course may seem daunting at first, especially as I'm a 55 year old, but it's well structured and easy to follow - in fact, they seem to practice what they preach about making lessons varied. The Further Reading items, whilst potentially adding an extra 300 hours, are useful. The three assignments are a practical way put into practice what you've been learning. The feedback given is comprehensive and includes suggestions for improvements. In all, it's given me confidence to get started in my EFL teaching career.

I liked the flexibility of doing my TEFL course with the TEFL Academy. You can log in whenever is most convenient for you and you can also extend your course if you need to. The modules are easy to follow and are always followed by quizzes that you can re-take if you need to.

This course was the perfect length and very well paced. I liked the combination of videos. I absolutely loved the full class videos as an example of the classroom flow. Assessments were marked within a week each time with very constructive feedback. Amazing value for money too.
