trustpilot is one of the best sites for you to see if a website is trusted. nevertheless, some scamming websites have people behind the screens writing fake reviews for their website to be trusted. never fall for these scams, look for a verified reviewer. but overall, trustpilot is excellent!

Trustpilot? Trustworthy. Providing you don't write anything offensive, they will publish your review. It's sometimes the only way to prompt an underperforming or inept company to do what they promised when you bought something that turned out to be tat or with dire service. Recently, I returned 3 golf shirts which were terrible. Small to size and like wearing poly bags. That company graciously offered me the full refund after I'd chased them for 2 weeks but implied that they would do so if I changed my review to a more positive one. I got my refund after more than a month after loads of excuses then crucified them. I've been justifiably tough on some and very complementary on others. Fortunately, with most unfamiliar suppliers, I've read the reviews before entrusting them with my money. Trustpilot is therefore worth its weight in gold.

No review of company response, You've 'hosted' a dispute that I've had with Toluna for more than a year. You advise me of responses, which might keep you off their back, but the responses are repetitive and meaningless, with no progress on the underlying issues of my complaint. What exactly is your purpose in having me rating them?

When you review on trustpilot you know that a good company will answer you back and try and solve problem if any. It gives people the chance to give their true opinion good or bad. As I said before it makes rhe good company's who are fair, answer you back with a solution

Thanks for letting me do the reviews. Companies need to be accountable for the actions in some way and its a small way but it works i guess. I appreciate being able to write the reviews caus i have had such bad experiences with some of these companies and people need to know so they dont go thru the eame. Trustpilot you make that happen for us and thank you very much. We need you around so dont stop letting us review the companies. Keep up the good work cause i appreciate it. Most badest platform ever!!! they only support costumer review they don’t care if they are 100% genuine or not it’s second time we get a false review and if you claim they just send a standard mail with software they use to check which is incorrect info!! If you want to destroy your company then you are welcome to use trustpilot otherwise ger rid of trustpilot!!!

I always look up a website first using trustpilot and if I read worrying reviews then I stay clear and save my money.

Sorry to say this but I have watched Trustpilot become worse and worse over time. Their process has shifted to AI with a big loss in quality. The people that are supposed to mop up after the AI - the so called "content integrity" team - are arrogant and smug. They do not see their job as dealing with customers but rather as dismissing / getting rid of you. They have no accountability for their actions and are not open to any feedback or improvement. Unless this company comes back to what made them a success in the first place, I'm afraid they will end up failing.

For over a year now still unable to change email address taking reviews with it.
I now no longer have access to the email address attached to Trustpilot so can’t log in online, which is a real pain.
Fortunately still have access through app but it’s not the same.
Have tried one more ditch attempt to contact Trustpilot about this to sort - so watch this space.

After my negative review of Fixitfaster that “company” tried to get more personal info through Trustpilots site. Obviously I didn’t comply given their behaviour (as you can read in the other reviews) and got in touch with Trustpilot. Due to the fact that Trustpilot apparently is swamped in dealing with e-mails they receive it took some time, but they turned out to be thorough (rightfully so) and friendly. So, I think you can trust Trustpilot for trying their best to make sure reviews are truthful and to investigate possible untrue ones.

I think Trustpilot is a really good system. The fact that they check reviews before publishing means that their reviews are generally considered and reasonable not just rants from people who don't really know what they are reviewing.
