Date walnut loaf

This is the date loaf I've been making for years, originally found in a FiveRoses cookbook, I think. I like to spread a little butter on slices of it and have it with tea.

This delicious, super easy date cake with honey and nuts is lovely served with tea or coffee. Perfect for Rosh Hashanah, Sukkot, or any holiday! Kosher.

It is important to use the correct dates, dark and soft like Medjool, to keep this loaf moist.

This is another recipe from my Grandma’s handwritten recipe book.
