The University of Oldenburg is one of the very few universities in Germany to offer a Voluntary Academic Year (FWJ). As part of the Federal Voluntary Service scheme, you can spend a year getting a taste of research and university life whilst gaining your first professional experience.
And did you know that you can also do vocational training at the university? The University of Oldenburg offers apprenticeship places in more than ten different trades, ranging from chemical laboratory assistants to administrative assistants.
