Key (Get Back)
The Keys (鍵 Kagi; Dub: Digikeys) are a set of items that appear in Digimon Get Back. They are a set of five keys based on the Crests and are similar in use, as they both belong to a specific Chosen Child and embody a specific trait of their character.
Overview[edit]
Design[edit]
The Keys take the form of slightly long skeleton keys. On their hilt is a large, hexagonal ornament with a Crest inscribed in the center.
Functions[edit]
- Clearing the fog that is swallowing the Digital World, once all five are placed on an altar
- Responding to the Chosen Child exhibiting its trait and, in conjunction with a Digivice, causing their Partner Digimon to Warp Evolve from their Child form into an Ultimate Digimon

Digimon Get Back[edit]
After being sent to the Digital World and learning of the dark fog that was swallowing it, the Chosen Children also learned of a way to fix everything: they had to gather the strength of the Legendary Ten Warriors. One by one they unlocked the Keys with the power within them, with Matsukita Akira unlocking the Key of Friendship from Ancient Megatheriumon; which, when put on an altar, would've cleared the fog. However, they lacked one key so the Dark King defeated them. Osanai Taro realized their defeat was because they lacked his Key.
After Agumon returned Osanai's Digivice, it glowed and released a Key. Later on, Agumon's passionate defense of Osanai against Skull Satamon's insults made power well up from his now-glowing Key, the Key of Courage. Akira realized Osanai's Key was the one Ancient Greymon told them they couldn't make, as it was a key that required not a fearless heart, but one that knew fear yet chose to overcome it, a heart that knew courage. The Crest of Courage glowed from its Key, causing Agumon to Warp Evolve into a massive Dinomon, skipping the Tyranomon and Master Tyranomon stages.
With a hole to the Digital World open and him about to disappear due to a time paradox, Osanai gave Akira the Key of Courage so she could save the world alongside her companions.
