⇨ Japanese A Beast Man Digimon whose whole body is covered in a high-stealth suit. Although it is a Digimon that specializes in nighttime reconnaissance and information gathering, it also excels at close combat using taijutsu unleashed through its high agility. The suit covering its whole body stops light from being reflected and produces virtually no sound, and since it also prevents its body heat from escaping, it is difficult to catch sight of Night Chiropmon, who operates at night. The helmet on its head is equipped with ultrasonic echolocation functions and a sensor that can detect the full electromagnetic spectrum, allowing it to "foresee" all kinds of events in its surroundings. Because Night Chiropmon's abilities have features that are intended for military use, it is suggested that it may have taken in leaked developmental data from a certain mechanized brigade in the Digital World as it evolved. When attacking, it uses its "Providence Scan", where it demonstrates the features of its helmet to their fullest, to analyze the target in advance, which includes seeing through their insides, and once the analysis is complete, it destroys the target's weak points with pinpoint accuracy by means of a long-range slash attack using the huge "Giant Rang" boomerang on its back, or its "Shadow Arts" close-range attack, which is composed of ultra-quick blows and kicks. Also, its "Mesmer Burst", ultrasonic waves emitted from its fingertips, has the effect of temporarily paralyzing the target, and can be fired from all fingers on both its hands.

In the March 2026 issue of Animedia magazine, Watanabe Kenji described the design for Night Chiropmon as inspired by the change between Patamon to Angemon from Digimon Adventure; Night Chiropmon becomes similarly thin and tall. Before the mechanical mask was settled on, a plague doctor mask was considered for Night Chiropmon, but this was thought to look too evil and was scrapped.
Chiropmon and Kuonji Makoto are shown to be fans of hero shows in Digimon Beatbreak.[1] Night Chiropmon's "high-stealth suit" and general design might take inspiration from the transforming hero genre of tokusatsu, in particular the Desire Grand Prix Admins from Kamen Rider Geats (2022-2023), a faction of far-future Riders who use reality manipulation abilities to manage the game show that the series is centered around. The DGP Admins' belts, known as the Vision Driver, are more technologically advanced than the Desire Driver used by the game show's contestants; and they all have a set of telekinetic orbs, known as the Hypnoray, built into their suits' armor, which they can detach from the suit to temporarily control present-day Riders (as in Mesmer Burst), as well as controlling the orbs as funnels while engaging in hand-to-hand combat (as with the Giant Rang). Night Chiropmon specifically resembles the version of the Admin suits with the orbs detached, befitting its nature as an analytical stealth fighter and support unit. Night Chiropmon's color scheme and detailing further suggest that it might be specifically based on Kamen Rider Glare, the first Vision Driver user to appear, who eventually betrays the Desire Grand Prix to side with the heroes. The use of a villain Rider who turns coat may be intended to parallel the class traitor status of Night Chiropmon's partner, Kuonji Makoto, from its debut story, Digimon Beatbreak, as Makoto voluntarily left behind the unfathomable privilege of the Shangri-La Egg's upper class and chose to live as a commoner and fight for the interests of commoners.
Like Chiropmon and Scourge Chiropmon, Night Chiropmon features a particular bat-themed symbol in its design. This symbol bears resemblance to the Mark of Evil. This symbol also evokes the DC Comics hero, The Batman. The Giant Rang bears resemblance to a Batarang, that is Batman’s bladed, bat-themed boomerang. The technologically advanced suit, the utility belt of Night Chiropmon (complete with a bat-themed symbol), the bat ears extending from the helmet, as well as close combat martial arts through Night Chiropmon’s Shadow Arts are all elements in common with Batman. The name "Night Chiropmon" also calls to mind Batman’s close association with the night, as well as a famous Batman moniker, "The Dark Knight". Scourge Chiropmon also bears resemblance to the Batplane, a bat-themed aircraft used by Batman in various media.
