D-Brigade

The D-Brigade (D-ブリガード D-Burigādo) is a mechanized brigade composed of Dragon Cyborg Digimon. This special forces unit is committed to missions kept secret from the public at all costs. The organization’s hierarchy is a mystery, as is whoever’s calling the shots. They have an operation focused on targets codenamed BAN-TYO, and intel of incidents involving them has leaked to the public, such as Ludomon protecting areas from the D-Brigade. While the organization seems specialized in covert operations and assassinations, the truth of the matter remains obscured.[1]
The infantry of the D-Brigade is primarily made up of Commandramon. They also undergo Selection-D, a special selection test that screens through 100 Commandramon to select one to evolve into Sealsdramon[2]. Many of the Commandramon who fail Selection-D are said to evolve into Hi-Commandramon instead[3]. Tankdramon are Machine Digimon that boast overwhelming firepower, and their mission survival rate is very high.[4]. It is said that only one Tankdramon has ever been shot down during an operation to eliminate the target "Codename: BAN-TYO". This fallen Tankdramon was retrieved by a D-Brigade research facility and underwent evolution into Darkdramon in order to create an ultimate weapon[5]. After its evolution, Darkdramon went out of control and escaped, leaving the D-Brigade unable to secure its whereabouts. After this failure, the D-Brigade reflected on their mistakes and later developed Brigadramon. Brigadramon is tasked with commanding deployed units and eradicating major threats in the mission area[6]. Once the area is cleared, Cargodramon are in charge of transporting squadrons of Commandramon, Hi-Commandramon, and Tankdramon to the landing zone[7].
