BAN-TYO
| |||||||
The BAN-TYO (「BAN-TYO」or alternatively バンチョー Banchō) (Dub: Bancho[1]/Boss[1]/Ringleader[2]) is a group of five Digimon in the Digital World with the word “Bancho” in their names, a term that loosely translates to “ringleader”. The title of “Bancho” was originally taken by Digimon who watched old movies and admired the idea of such “ringleaders”. Upon their demise, these Digimon would then bestow the title onto befitting Digimon of the next generation, creating a custom of inheritance. Apparently there are other Digimon out there bearing this title. [3] They are said to be the enemies of the D-Brigade[4].
Members[edit]
The Digimon with the title of "Bancho" share several common characteristics:[3]
- They wear a GAKU-RAN, a long jacket in the style of a school uniform.
- They all possess great pride and strong conviction.
- On top of their pride and conviction, they have fought and won many battles.
- Regardless of their original levels, they have evolved into Ultimate Digimon.
