Ulud Terminal

The Ulud Terminal (ウルドターミナル Urudo Tāminaru) is one of the three layers or "Terminals" of the New Digital World. Its name is derived from a misspelling of Urd, one of the three Norns who tended to the world tree, Yggdrasil in Norse mythology. This layer represents the past, and is filled with Ancient Digimon, including Dinosaur type Digimon.

The Ulud Terminal allows access to the layer governing the past, filled with bountiful nature and is the habitat of Ancient Digimon; this layer is on the lowest stratum, and affects the Versandi and Skuld Terminals. It is a dangerous world where many ferocious Digimon such as Dinosaur and Beast types live, and it is made up of the Rolan Continent, Goldia Continent, and Lemoore Continent. The Rolan Continent is where the "Legendary Dragon King" resides; located there is also the forest in which the "Forest Leaf" (フォレストリーフ, Foresuto Rīfu)—which connects this Digital World to the Digital World of another dimension—can be found, and where there have been repeated sightings of the "Warrior of Fantasy" (Medieval Dukemon).[1]
