In "Witchelny", the Digital World of another dimension, it is a Warrior Digimon praised as the "Legendary Hero". It suddenly appeared and drove out the invaders in ancient Witchelny, which was on the road to ruin because Sorcery (high-level programming language) was still immature and there were no means for it to defend itself from foreign invasions, and although it's not certain, it is said that it transcends time and is still in existence. It battles using armor made by Sorcery, it holds the alias of "Whirlwind General" due to it governing the Digimon known as the "Vortex Warriors", who, among all the magical systems of Fire, Earth, Water, and Wind, battle using weapons made by Wind Sorcery, and it possesses the mightiest magical lance, "Dynas", which conceals the power of the wyvern. Although there are almost none who have seen its form in the "Digital World", it is a Digimon called the "Warrior of Fantasy" in the "Digital World", as gaudy ornamentation is applied to the armor over its whole body, and a coat of arms is affixed to its solemn form. Its Special Moves are "Rage of Wyvern", fired from Dynas, and "Final Crest".

Digimon Chronicle[edit]

Medieval Dukemon, the Vortex Warrior, appears in Digimon Chronicle as a form of Dukemon, the Royal Knight. Medieval Dukemon is how Dukemon appears in Witchelny, and is considered a legendary hero who saved the world from an unknown threat. In the New Digital World's Ulud Terminal, on the Rolan Continent, the Forest Leaf found in the forests allow Dukemon to take the form of Medieval Dukemon without travelling to Witchelny. Dukemon, using both its standard and Medieval Dukemon forms, opposes Musha Yuuji and Ryudamon, but instead of outright eliminating the duo, sets up a "trial" to test the power of the X-Antibody.

D-Cyber[edit]

Duke of Courage is one three Holy Knights, possessing the ability to imbue Digimon with a Dragon Spirit. After his battle against Lóng Zhìguāng, he changes into Dukemon (X-Antibody) to join the battle against Death-X-mon.

Digimon Dreamers[edit]

In "Wizarmon's Future", Phelesmon saw the aura of Wizarmon's potential as Medieval Dukemon coming out of Wizarmon, making them realize that what he had was not an exceptional Digicore known as the X-Factor, but the latent power to evolve into a Medieval Dukemon.

Digimon Liberator[edit]

Both of the Partner Digimon of Kazama Shoto, Pteromon and Muchomon, have become Medieval Dukemon at different times.

Shoto used Medieval Dukemon as an evolution for Pteromon over Zephagamon as the latter's card had become unusable. He played its card, EX8-074, in the last turn of his match against Yao Qinglan in "Vortex Resonance (Part 2)", where it won him the match through a succession of effects and its Rage of Wyvern attack.

In "Raid on the World (Part 1)", Muchomon was Medieval Dukemon during a duel against an unspecified NPC. From there on, Medieval Dukemon is used exclusively as Muchomon's Level 6 form in many other games. Muchomon also takes this form outside of combat to fight Unchain in "DIGIMON / LIBERATOR (Part 1)".

In "Miracle Maker (Part 1)", Owen plays an EX7-074 Medieval Dukemon, a card he received prior to the match from Shoto. Owen uses this in a situation battle against Xeno. Earlier in this battle, Owen also imagines a battle between his own partner Digimon, War Greymon and Medusamon against Shoto and his partners, Zephagamon and Medieval Dukemon.

In "Miracle Maker (Part 2)", Owen suspends his Medusamon to activate the Alliance effect of Medieval Dukemon, representing the teamwork and friendship between Owen and Shoto during the match against Xeno.
