Description: The Senior Technician, Branches and Reference (stream 1), works with teams of research librarians and technicians providing reference and client services for parliamentary clients online and in person in Library branches.
The Senior Technician, Parliament of Canada Information Service (stream 2), works with a team of technicians and agents who provide information to and answer questions from the general public about the role, history and work of Parliament.
Primary responsibilities for both Senior Technicians include supporting the daily operations and delivery of client services, coaching team members, supporting new technicians in their training, assigning and monitoring the team’s workload, and completing quality assurance reviews of responses to client requests.
