I would consider myself a heavy gamer. I’ve been fortunate enough to have grown up in the generation that saw gaming go from arcades to home gaming. This has also allowed me to be part of a specific video game franchise’s growth. I’ve been an avid follower and believer of the Forza series since the very beginning. The (now-defunct) Motorsports started it off, and it quickly spun off into the Horizon series, which has catapulted the franchise to new heights.

Can VinFast Thrive In The Cutthroat Motorcycle Industry?
First things first, I’m not great at riding motorcycles; my balance as a human being isn’t stellar, keeping me away from all things two-wheeled. So, when VinFast invited me, along with a huge contingent of media and motovloggers, to visit Vietnam to take a peek at the e-scooters, I was skeptical at first.

BYD's DM-i Models Win Me Over Bad Roads Going To Bicol
BYD educated me a lot last year. Every car launched is followed up with a drive that always involves a short lecture about their DM-i hybrid system. They even invited me to China last year to see their headquarters and what they’re working on. I swear I was muttering, “DM-i” in my sleep that when they invited me for an “all DM-i” drive, I almost refused.

Carving out some time for yourself is essential. No matter how important and necessary the grind is, there is no point to it if it compromises your health and well-being. That said, “me time” looks different for everyone. For those of us who enjoy brief respites out of town, a long, quiet drive may be exactly what is needed to recharge and reset.

Hyundai Stargazer X: Your Ride Through Life's Moments
Valentine’s Day may be over, but planning the most meaningful date can be done at any day during the year. Think, the perfect restaurant with the best cuisine, the right outfit, and lining up the details to set the mood. But being with the one you love should not be limited to just one day of the year. In fact, considering the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it is ultimately more important to plan small, intentional pockets of time with the people who are closest to us.

When An Asian Disruptor Begins To Redraw The Green Mobility Landscape
Just a few years ago, most Filipino consumers had never seen, touched, or experienced a VinFast vehicle in their daily lives. The brand existed largely as a name attached to international auto show headlines, global expansion announcements, and long-term aspirations. Then, everything changed.

The Hyundai VENUE Is The SUV For Every Modern Filipino
Comebacks are hard to pull off, especially when a brand has made its mark with signature models that already defines its equity. To grow, however, is another story, and sometimes, it pays to bring back a well-known favorite. Hyundai Motor Philippines is no stranger to second winds and with that, reintroduces the Hyundai VENUE, the nameplate that stands for day-to-day reliability, functionality, and versatility. The VENUE combines what every Filipino looks for in a daily driver – an SUV that provides premium, up-to-the-minute style with the level of driving performance that you can count on for every kind of lifestyle.

Traffic Is Quietly Raising Our Carbon Footprint And That's Why Going Electric Matters
Every December, Metro Manila slips into its annual state of carmageddon. As the MMDA issues early advisories, the roads respond exactly as expected: SLEX and NLEX slow to a crawl, EDSA becomes a glowing red line, C5 clogs in both directions, and even neighborhood roads turn into surprise bottlenecks. Gift-buying, reunions, late mall hours, road closures for events, and an already stretched transport system all converge into one long, familiar traffic story. We joke about it because that’s how we cope, but anyone stuck inside a barely-moving car knows how much fuel, time, and energy are wasted in the process.

A New Kind Of Vibe With The Suzuki Fronx
When you say Suzuki, a few things pop up in mind here in the Philippines. First of course is the Jimny which is a global icon. Second is their fuel-efficient small hatchbacks before like the Alto and Celerio. Third, the frugal 7-seaters they have for the family in the XL7 and Ertiga. If you want something bigger than a hatchback but more adventurous, there’s a definite void in their lineup — until now.

Bibimdrive: A North Trip with the Kia EV9, Carnival HEV, Sorento HEV, and Sonet
More is indeed merrier for this recent Kia trip I had. The usual 1 car in focus was off the table and instead they had us drive 4 of their cars to the far north. It was a good mix between different powertrains that I can’t help but compare it to one of my go-to Korean dishes.

Toyota And The Hilux Is Built On Understanding Its Customers
Toyotas have a reputation for being boring. They’re nice commuter cars and all, but they’re not exactly the ones that quicken the pulse. It’s a status that most other car brands will shun away from, but not Toyota. Toyota knows that boring can be good; that boring can be a brand.
