Make A Wish

Hello there, welcome to another day of CBS teasers. The stamp sets are being revealed over on Stephanie's blog today (they will be in the shop tomorrow) but the DT still have some teasers to show you. For my card today I am using the Make A Wish stamp and co-ordinating die sets. I have combined the balloon with the sentiment from the Twinkle Toes set.

A Note Of Thanks

Hello there, for my card today I have used two stamp sets from the new release at Clearly Besotted Stamps. I have used the Just A Note stamp to create the note paper and then stamped the sentiment from the Many Thanks set on top. The stars are also from the same set.

SUPPLIES:

I just wanted to say a big thank you for all the lovely comments you gave me on my post below. They are so appreciated!

As you may be aware Google Reader is going to be discontinued so I have joined bloglovin', there is a link on my sidebar if you would like to follow me there.

Have a lovely day!

The image is from Microsft Clip Art and I have coloured it in with watercolour pencils, cut out and added to the base. The base has been made by layering some Dovecraft paper on to some Bazzill CS. The greeting has been stamped and then cut out into a bookplate, this has been attached with small brads.

With Love at Christmas

This card is made for my friend to give to her ypoung daughter. The brief was pink and glittery! I have stamped Tilda with Stazon then coloured her in with watercolour pencils and added glitter to her hat and PJs. Mounted up onto pink card with corners rounded and 3D foamed to base. The base has been made with Winter Wonderland shimmery paper (available from Craftwork Cards). I have punched two snowflakes out and glittered them up with bright pink glitter, these have been attached to the card with tiny white brads. Message has been added with 3D foam pads.

Both of these cards have been made with the same products again. I love this little character! I have stamped him with Stazon and coloured him in with watercolour pencils and added glitter to his hat. I have then mounted him up with card and attached to card blank with 3D foam pads. The bases have been made with Pink Petticoat paper and Craftwork Cards messages. The top card has punched out snowflakes added with tiny brads.

Results Time

I have made this card for my cousin Amy who has passed her AS Level exams. I am really happy for her. I made the card quite simple but love the book stack stamp by A Muse and thought it would work well for an exam congratulations card. I am also happy to announce that I passed my exams and assignments too so I am now a 3rd year at university! What a scary thought!

  • Black card by Doodlebug
  • Scallop circle by QuicKutz Cookie Cutter dies
  • Flower sequins by Doodlebug
  • Small black brad by Queen & Co
