Archaeodiet in the Greek World: Dietary Reconstruction from Stable Isotope Analysis
Occasional Wiener Laboratory Series 2 (OWLS 2), Subset of Hesperia Supplement 49, edited by Anastasia Papathanasiou, Michael P. Richards, and Sherry C. Fox (2015).
The reconstruction of past diets, through stable carbon and nitrogen isotope analysis, provides direct evidence of the foods actually consumed in past societies and complements the address of archaeological issues including past subsistence economies, health, differential access to certain food categories in correlation with social status, age or gender, temporal shifts in protein consumption and their association with documented socio-political shifts, the role of fishing or millet as well as cultural differences in dietary patterns. The eleven chapters of this book summarize 25 years of research and cover a broad temporal and geographical spectrum from the Palaeolithic to Medieval Eras of the Greek world, making Greece isotopically the most extensively studied place in the world.

New Directions in the Skeletal Biology of Greece
Occasional Wiener Laboratory Series (OWLS). Subset of Hesperia Supplement monographic series, edited by Lynne A. Schepartz, Sherry C. Fox and Chryssi Bourbou (2009).
Physical Anthropology, the study of human skeletal remains, has assumed an increasingly important role in the archaeology of Greece over the past 30 years, both in the field and in interpretive research. In addition to including stimulating case studies ranging in date from the Palaeolithic to modern periods, the 17 chapters in this book provide an overview of bioarchaeological research across Greece and Cyprus
