So finally a thread on debates....do you love arguments???? Well here's your chance!!!! But before we actually start a debate we'd want some topics(obviously!!!). So please suggest topics that you'd like to debate and we'll select one of them.

You know guys we'd need debators if you wish to be spectators...at least voice your opinions once in a blue moon....

I suggest the topic Abortion....should it be legalised or not......and yeah everyone is welcome to suggest topics or support this one...as soon as we decide on a topic we'll start the debate.

Mine is exams v/s the grading system.


P.S: I think I'd like to argue here where everything is virtual... Im not much of a debator in real life :P

abortion should be legalized - but should be done only if the mother wants to.
( I'm under the impression abortion is legal nowadays - provided its within the first 12 weeks of conception)

Yeah Smitha abortion is legal but there's still a debate going on about how ethical it is.....

@Meenakshi Adoption is pretty difficult these days...I know acouple who'd love to adopt but the adoption agencies are demanding a huge sum and if they do it the conventional way it'll take ages for them to adopt a kid....

sometimes, the husband/his family can very well influence or force the wife to abort, especially if they come to know the child she's carrying is a female - though the women resist at first, finally they bend to their husbands' wills

Would love to debate abt human cloning!

You know I have an idea....we can have more than one debate at a time....let's create a separate folder for debates, keep this thread for topics and create individual threads for each tpopic to be debated..this way even if someone doesn't find one one topic to their liking they can debate another one...what do you say almighty Mods??? Create a folder for me??

I think we should start five debates first and then add more.....so vote for the topics you'd like to debate. Select five topics and just write their numbers...whichever topics get the most votes will be debated first.

For example, I'm voting for topics 1, 4, 7, 9 and 10.
