okay, i actually noticed something really annoying about this manga. every arc has the same, repetitive structure:
1. big bad dark guild appears.
2. big bad pawahful villain steals/tries to use a black magic artefact to revive this Zeref guy.
3. big bad pawahful villain is really confident and a douchebag, so he/she brags about his/her pawah.
4. Fairy Tail gets involved in some way.
5. Natsu (since he's a blockhead and a self-centered idiot) screams bloody murder and starts to fight the big bad pawahful villain alone (OF COURSE).
6. Natsu & friends are defeated and Fairy Tail is destroyed (Every. Single. Time.)
7. Makarov is so strong he gets incapacitated almost every fucking time. *sarcasm*
8. Random angst and Gajeel singing.
9. Annoying flashback of one or more characters.
10. Fairy Tail pursues big bad dark guild and they start to fight again, to prevent the latter to revive Zeref or what's-his-name.
11. Every single female character strips while fighting. B/c fanservice.
12. Gray strips, too.
13. Boring banter about truuu frendscip.
14. Juvia skins every female character who dares to stare at a half-naked Gray.
15. Natsu defeats big bad pawahful villain alone and everyone is happy.

EN RESUMEN
El enfrentamiento entre Fairy Tail y el gremio oscuro, Grimoire Heart, comienza.
ACLARACIÓN:
Todos estos puntos están de alguna forma influenciados por conocimientos y opiniones que ya tenía sobre la historia gracias a la adaptación del anime y al ser esta una relectura.
ASPECTOS POSITIVOS
- El dibujo de Mashima se lució mucho en este tomo, en especial en lo referido a peleas, expresiones y momentos épicos (porque esa es la cosa con Mashima, el vago te sabe hypear pero el desarrollo al final deja mucho que desear).
- Las peleas estuvieron bastante interesantes (y por lo menos duraron más de un capítulo). Natsu tuvo un momento más de brillantez/estupidez suya que hace que lo quiera, Mirajane nos dejó a todos un poco más locos con su forma Satan Soul y hasta llegué a preocuparme por Elfman y Evergreen.
- La presentación de los villanos fue sólida. Hasta el momento representan un riesgo mayor que lo que veníamos teniendo hasta el momento en la historia. Todas las apuestas están en Hades, Ultear y Azuma.
ASPECTOS NEGATIVOS
- La cosa con Mashima es que incluso en sus mejores arcos (este y el futuro Tártaro), el tipo es super predecible.
- ¿A alguien le interesó realmente el plan de los malos malísimos?
CONCLUSIÓN
Un tomo plagado de acción con peleas llenas de epiquismo y emoción, con momentos claves para ciertos personajes, pero que parece seguir una ruta predecible en lo que respecta al desarrollo de las peleas y a las motivaciones de los villanos.

Absolutely, that’s right lol 😂 We can find a clear hero journey in here. If protagonists were faced with a serious situation, they always get a biiiiiiiiig gift. Then, they win a battle with brave, friendship and a spirit of “never give up”.

Ahh now I think I finally understand the "Seven Kin of Purgatory" reference I think it is in reference to Dante's Divine trilogy where in Purgatory Dante travels through the layers of purgatory which was all about he seven deadly sins. I feel like a smart cookie now lol. Anyways, there was a lot of fantastic action in this one with some shocking secrets spilling over. Especially secrets of Fairy Tail and its beginnings. I also officially only have ten more volumes left of the books I own in this series and I will have finally caught up with what I own so the next time I order the next five volumes I can just read them an not reread this entire series again lol.

This will be my full review for this entire series. I already read this comic from volume 1-30. Suppose there 50 volume more of this series but I prefer not to finish it as I don't really like the time-skip idea in this series.
To clarify, I love the idea of time-skip. But, in this series, I really hate it. It make Natsu and other main member weaker. Why make them weaker? I want to see MC progress throughout the series. Then, suddenly become weaker. Not to mention when MC want to win each battle, power of friendship keep coming back each battle.
Furthermore, there are a lot of un-explained things happened in this series. The dots are not connected rather than scattered throughout the series. It just there to fill the plot-hole. Rather than explaining, Mr Hiro keep continuing the series and keep adding new characters each volume.
So, after the time-skip, I determine to stop reading this series. I don't want to ruin my memories of this awesome series. For most part, this series actually had huge potential because of interesting and lovable character, but the plot is keep on damaging this series slowly.

People who don’t like this series usually don’t understand why it’s popular. They’ll complain that the structure is repetitive and or that getting stronger all of a sudden because of your friends is bs. Sometimes you don’t need to take everything so seriously, just have fun! I love this series message of kindness and friendship, we need more of that in our world. I wish I had someone like Natsu or Lucy in my life in school, then I would have actually had friends. It was and still is so hard for me to make friends, so an anime and manga series like is very important to me. Also, other big reasons for why I love this series so much is because of the characters, character interactions, and the fights. Which are also the reasons why I love Bleach so much, plus the lore. People also don’t realize how much lore Fairy Tail has, maybe not as much as other series but still some interesting stuff. Character interactions are my most favourite parts of a series, they’re so underrated.

• Too many different types of Slayers, I think. Why are we killing gods, demons and dragons anyway? They don't need killing they're already slay enough.
• Natsu not being able to eat a flame and then learning how to is like watching someone how to learn how to use chopsticks for the first time. You're slightly worried he's going to do himself an injury.
• Laxus Laxus Laxus Laxus (everyone together now) LAXUS LAXUS LAXUS
• GUILDARTS ONCE AGAIN!!! BACK! TO! THE! ISLAND!
• Where did Mest disappear to?
• Seeing Caprico and immediately knowing that irs another Celestial Spirit. After this arc, Lucy will have 10/12 of the golden keys making her like the most OP Celestial Spirit mage in most likely all of history.
• Erza, where!! Erza WHERE
• Mirajane kinda lost too easily there.
• Evergreen and Elfman sexual tension goes crazy like damn, this is a battle, why are you giving each other "wanna go back to my place after this" eyes?!

4.5/5 Very good volume. The Seven Kin of Purgatory, the strongest members of Grimoire Heart, have landed on Tenrou Island. We start with a startling discovery involving Fairy Tail Leader Marakov and the leader of Grimoire Heart, Hades. These 2 duke it out and we get to see Marakov do some amazing stuff.
Natsu battles Zancrow another fire mage who used Fire God Magic.
We get a touching battle with Lisanna and Mira against Azusa.
And another fun and emotional battle involving Evergreen Elfman vs. Rustyrose.
A really fun volume overall and I’m glad I’m still having fun with the manga.

Makarov versus Hades! ‘Nuff said. Review over. See you next time. Ha ha ha just kidding. As you learn of the intent for the destruction of Fairy Tail by multiple sources…enemies become allies in an attempt to defeat the Dark Guild. Finding out who Hades is was a gut check, but the battle is epic and appropriate for Guild Masters as they should show an unimaginable amount of power! The battles are fierce and there is even a cool cameo (which to me only gets me excited for next chapter all the more!). The battles that wage on the island are epic, but truly don’t need any explanation. This is a fun volume of eye candy action packed fights! I expect even more next volume as this story seems to be still in the open act! Hiro Mashima continues to amaze with this series!

Nope, I’m not ok. I knew fairy tail was winning me back but you didn’t have do this in order to make me love you again! Just all the feels I was not prepared for. I can’t handle what just happened and the thought that we just barely got introduced to our enemy and this already has happened does make me look forward to my emotions in the next few volumes.

3.5 rounded up. Lots of struggles with some Natsu and Makarov bonding thrown in, and a surprise hint toward the next master of the guild, at least by Makarov’s hope. It was really battle heavy though so while a lot happened it felt like little progress was made.
