I LOVE this adaptation of the Maximum Ride series and it is a shame they this was not continued until the end. I believe it is because the Nare Lee is now writing on her own manga series and has shelved this one in favor of her new series.
Anyways, I love this story and in some ways I can tolerate some of the idiotic stuff that went on in the novels in these manga versions. Maybe because those weird plot sequences are just better suited for a comic-style versus in a novel format. Also it might just be the nostalgia factor here because this was my first ever manga series. Either way, such a joy to reread again. ...more

I got rid of my copies knowing my library will always have them so I can have room for completed series on my shelves. Either way, NaRae Lee has a beautiful illustration style and after over ten years of enjoyment, I still keep coming back seeking nostalgia and comfort. :) ...more
