"I was on the edge of my seat squirming and drooling with lust and envy at the chemistry between Harlow the sweet, straight-laced good girl and temper flaring, hot, dangerous alpha male MC vice president Scott Cole in this book... It was all too consuming for me and I just had to finish this book in one hit and not put it down AT ALL! Staying up all night to read this book was well worth my "Scott Cole Hangover" and at the same time totally exhilarating! ~ GR Reviewer

"Scott Cole was the kind of man that women like me threw their checklists out the window for." ~ Harlow James

4.5 stars for this book!

I am so pleased that I decided to continue on with this series, even after I wasn't so sure from Book #1. "Fierce," which is the second book in the Storm MC series was a total step up, and blew this series wide open! My attention has been caught, and there is no turning back for me now. I love Nina Levine's writing style and she has stepped up her game with the story of Scott Cole and Harlow James. This is a couple you don't want to miss out on. It was impossible for me not to fall in love them. This installment includes some very emotional scenes, some heart-warming ones, and let's not forget about some sizzling hot sex! It has got it all, and it delivers it in a way that it's impossible to put the book down. If you had of seen me around my town yesterday, you would have caught me in a parking lot, sneaking my Kindle, to read....just a few more pages! (an hour later!!!) then I picked the longest grocery store line just so I could read....just one more chapter! LOL That is pretty much my day yesterday in a nut shell; and all because I couldn't get enough of Scott and Harlow!!!!It has been awhile since a book has captured my attention in this way, and I was so pleased by it that it made my whole day!!

Scott Cole is the VP of the Storm MC, and he is Madison's brother. (She was the heroine in book one)Scott is one of those biker dude's that have no interest in settling down with a woman; and he looks upon men who do as "pussy's!" He is very dedicated to his brothers, and he is as loyal as they come. Harlow James has never been around a Motorcycle club before, and is totally innocent in the ways of how a club runs, her lifestyle is just very different than Scott's. Harlow is one of those people who would give of herself to anyone in need. In her life at the moment she has been helping her mother try to keep the little cafe open. When Scott and Harlow finally do connect, there is an immediate attraction; but both are not willing to act on it right away. Their lives end up crossing though, and then Scott begins to learn very quickly Harlow is unique, and she is not so easy to get out of his head. I loved watching these two fall in love. There was just something about them that really appealed to me.

Again, this is a must read..I can't express it enough. In book two, there are some secrets revealed, and there are some devastating consequences that follow some of the characters in this story. Nina Levine is now on my auto buy author list...I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her rough and tough bikers!

Fierce was decent read that featured a hot biker and a starky blonde bombshell. I won’t go and say that this book had the strongest story line but I’d be lying to say that I didn’t enjoy it.

I mean, it was fast, simple, and featured two characters with some sizzling chemistry!

I liked how despite the obvious tattoos, crass language, womanizing, and bad a**ness, Scott was a total sweetheart! After all, what guy would go to such lengths to watch over a 12 year old girl that is not even his own?

I also liked the character of Harlow. She is no pushover and she isn’t annoying like many female leads.

I just wish that the ending in this book wasn’t so rushed and abrupt. I get that it’s a series and each book’s plot builds upon each of the previous books but I just wish that it didn’t end the way it did. What I mean by this is that the story had a going momentum and all of a sudden it was like “THE END”. I was like “okaaaayy.”

I just hope that somewhere down the next book in the series or two, it will show Jason and Harlow getting married and calling CPS on Michelle so that they can get custody over Lisa. They act like her parents anyway!

Anyways, a great and easy read! I hope either Nash or Blade’s story is next!

Fierce was a great MC romance about the Storm MC. This book follows Vice President Scott and country girl Harlow. Scott doesn’t do relationships. He’s all about his club and gets laid whenever it suits him. He meets Harlow at the vet and she makes an impression on him. Pushes his buttons and doesn’t scare easily by his asshole attitude.
Fierce is pretty straight forward story wise so nothing surprised me when some drama happened. It’s definitely better than book 1 Storm but again I expected more depth story wise and more character development which I didn’t get.
Overall an okay MC romance that didn’t wow me and didn’t disappoint me.

Fierce where to start with this review.... okay I have to say that I love biker stories because they can be rough and raw and sometimes a girl needs that in her life. With Fierce what I got was a sweet mix of good and bad. I was introduced to two characters that really brought it home for me and I need more about them. Nina did a great job of telling Scott's story.

Scott is the Vice President of The Storm Motor Cycle club and there has been issues swirling around the club and Scott is determined to protect his family and friends. What we get to see is that Scott will go to any lengths to keep his family protected and he soon extends that protection to his neighbor. What Scott will get in return is one hell of a ride. He meets Harlow and at first he is curious about her but nothing more and as time goes on he and Harlow form a friendship and Scott finds himself protecting Harlow and falling for at the same time.

Harlow has moved in to town to help her mother out. She is a good country girl who knows nothing about the biker life. When she finds herself in trouble she turns to Scott and at first she is scared but when she is around Scott she feels safe and secure. She is not stupid though because she knows he is trouble with a capital T but she can't help but fall for him. Harlow has built a wall around her heart and as time goes on and she Scott get closer she realizes that under that tough interior there is a loving man and the walls that she has placed around her heart are torn down and she lets Scott in.

But as a Biker chick will she be able to live the life and give Scott what he needs? Will Scott be the right guy for her or will the biker life take him away from her?

3.0 RATING- This is one of those series that my GR friends said, gets better as it goes. So I read book one and thought it was an average read and was hoping book two in the series was going to rate higher. Unfortunately, for me, it didn't. There's not anything terrible about this book. Two years ago, I would have been happy to have one more biker book to consume. But there are just too many other quality biker/MC series out there to stick with a series I find just okay. Several GR friends have enjoyed this book and this series but I'm not going to spend any more time on it.

4 Fix Your Fridge Stars

Is there anything sexier than a guy who will fix things? I mean really. I love a good alpha male. A motorcycle rider. A tough guy. But a guy who will fix your Momma's refrigerator....that is a keeper.

Harlow has moved back to town to help her mom in the cake shop. Her mom makes great cakes. And coffee. Great coffee. Harlow has been hurt by men in the past so she is ready to take a break. And being in Brisbane is good break. She doesn't know anyone so she can keep to herself. She works two jobs, helps her mom, and keeps her head down. For the most part. She does have a hard time controlling her smart mouth.

Scott is the VP of the Storm MC. His dad is the President. He is really tired of his dad and his dad's bullshit. Scott looks like a bad ass biker...and he is....but also helps the little girl next door take care of her cat. But don't tell anyone he has a nice side.

Scott Cole's name flashed through my mind as I thought of the assholes. Yeah, I had totally memorized his name.....He was freaking hot; how could I not remember his name? But he wouldn't pass my checklist...The one that forbade me to even look at a guy who oozed sex the way Scott did.

As Scott and Harlow get to know each other, they realize that this could be something worth breaking the rules for. Something worthwhile. Something hot. Something lasting.

I wanted to take a chance on something that could be beautiful.

Can they start something good and make it last? Scott has lots of enemies and even some of his friends are a bit sketchy. There are kidnappings, cat surgeries, red velvet cake, suspicious half brothers, rival gangs, strip clubs, plastic draped rooms, and little girls in need in feminine products. There is a lot going on here people.

I am loving all the Storm guys and can't wait for the next one. 'Cause guys who take care of your Momma? They are worth waiting for.

3.5 Star

This one has the same formule like the first one, they get mad at the stupidest things.. This annoyed me very much, because many times there just wasn't any need to get angry..

I loved the glimpse of Blade, but on the other side I don't think I'll read his book. (view spoiler)

There were a few surprises that I didn't see coming. I kind of hate Scott, Madison and Blade their father.. What the hell is Scott and Madisons mom thinking!?

4 "Hot Chemistry" Stars! Loved the banter between this biker couple! This is my first Nina Levine title, but I guarantee it will not be my last. Fierce is a great book if you're looking for a quick, sexy MC read that is not too dark. I also loved the alpha MC hero and the altruistic heroine.

As this is the second book in the Storm MC series, it is worth noting that it is possible to read Fierce as a standalone, given that the love life of the hero and heroine is resolved. All that said, there is definitely some carry-over of club business from the prior book, which while well explained, means that this series is probably best read in order if you plan on reading it in its entirety.

Scott Cole, the VP of the Storm Motorcycle Club, is straddling a tough line. He loves his MC, but is not very happy with some of the decisions his father, the Storm MC President, has made. If there is one thing he is, however, is devoted and loyal. He will do anything for those that he loves, including his MC and his family. Commitment, however, is not his thing, and he doesn’t see himself settling down … now, or well, ever. This is especially given that, in his experience, women are really more after what he can provide, as a Storm MC officer, rather than truly into him.

Then Scott meets a sweet country girl, Harlow James. She’s a receptionist at the vet, that is until he gets her fired, with his cocky, bossy, alpha nature. Harlow clearly hasn’t been around bikers before. Nonetheless, she is not afraid of him, even if she quickly forms her own opinions of what he stands for. Scott finds her immensely intriguing though, an attraction which becomes even more “fierce” the more he gets to know her; and soon there is no denying that they both want each other.

Harlow is initially guarded, however, having previously had bad luck in the love department, and convinced that falling for Scott will only lead to further disappointment. When life, however, happens and they become inextricably involved in each other’s personal lives, they get to know their true selves. But danger—as always in the MC world—is nearby and soon pays them a visit. Will Scott turn his fierce loyalty towards Harlow? Even if he wants to protect her, will he be successful? Moreover, once Harlow, the sweet country girl, gets a taste of Scott’s outlaw world, will she run for the hills?

This is a great opposites attract MC romance. Perhaps my favorite part was seeing Harlow’s true nature come to life under Scott’s influence. She just floored me with some of her dirty talk, which not only managed to astound and drive Scott crazy, but also may very well have been even hotter and dirtier than Scott’s!

I’m definitely looking forward to reading more of the Storm MC series, including Scott’s half-brother’s (Blade’s) story, which Nina Levine is releasing this coming November!

☆☆☆☆ 4 Fierce Stars ☆☆☆☆

Fierce_1

Fierce by Nina Levine was sexy, raw, dirty, and passionate. Nina Levine stepped up her game in this second installment of the Storm MC series. In Fierce, it follows and chronicles the MC Storm VP, Scott Cole as he falls in love with the girl from the other sides of the track, Harlow James. When two unlikely strangers from two different worlds fall in love, what does it mean? Well, one thing for certain, Ms. Levine will treat her readers on one hell of a sexy fierce rollercoaster ride.

What can I say but I fucking adore and love Scott!!! Scott is definitely one of my favorite of the Storm MC. Nina Levine worked her magic on Scott and Harlow’s story. She was able to deliver a storyline filled with suspense, action, and fierce passion. Ms. Levine captured my attention when she brought two unlikely people to fall in love: a bad boy VP of the Storm MC and a heart of gold blonde bombshell. So if you are looking for raw, sex, dirty, gritty, and fierce story to keep you glued to your kindle, then look no further than Nina Levine’s Fierce.

I loved it 4.5 stars.

I read 'Storm' the first book in this series last year and had very mixed feelings about it, Maddie annoyed me no end and ultimately spoilt the book for me so I just forgot about the series and moved on.
I've just downloaded 'Rev the Engine' and after reading the excerpt from 'Fierce' I just knew I had to read this book and I'm so glad that I did, I loved it.
Harlow James is a country girl who's been let down by every man in her life, after her boyfriend of 3 years cheated on her with her best friend she figured enough is enough and moved to live with her mother. Her mother's cafe is struggling and Harlow is helping out, she's not looking for a man but when her path crosses with Scott Cole Harlow can't deny just how attracted she is to him.
Scott is the Vice President of the Storm Motorcycle Club and his family is a mess, he's not interested in anything more than a one night stand or casual hookup or at least he wasn't until he came across Harlow.
I loved Harlow, she's a fabulous female character and Scott of course, it goes without saying, I'm female, he's so different to Harlow's previous boyfriends: 'I’d never had sex with such a dominating man and I decided then and there that I loved being dominated.'
I'm so glad I gave this book a chance.

Now we're talking.

This is what I was looking for when I started this series.
I said in my review of the first book (Storm) that I didn't like the way J treated Madison. Well, he should learn something from Scott.

Scott is the VP of Storm MC and he really surprised me. Yeah, he has a temper and he can be a jerk sometimes. But when he and Harlow started getting closer, he didn't push her away, nor dismissed her questions and her interest in his life.
He was as honest and forthcoming as he could be, he involved her in his life and his interests and he wouldn't shut her down.
He was still over the top, protective and totally alpha. But he respected her individuality, he supported her decisions and choices and he treated her like an equal.
And oh man, was he sexy.
Harlow was adorable and as sweet as she was fierce. She was naive about a lot of things, but she wasn't a pushover. She had her own mind and she knew how to stand up for herself.

They were both strong and opinionated, yet they knew when to back down and apologize. I think that's why they worked so beautifully together.
And they were explosive. Their chemistry was scorhing hot and they connected in so many levels.

I can't wait to see more of them.

RECENSIONE QUI: https://thereadingslove.blogspot.com/...

My thoughts for Scott...

...and for Harlow...

You can see the following review also here: http://loveandlivetoread.wordpress.co...

The good news is that this book was better than the first of this series. The bad news is that still something was missing. I’ve read many books with bikers and this one wasn’t the best but not the worst either. This is Scott’s story and it’s a decent one.

Scott’s is VP is a Motorcycle Club and as dominant as it gets. He’s not into serious relationships and that’s why he is surprised when he finds himself wanting Harlow, a woman who haven’t even seen a biker before him.

So, Harlow is my main problem in this book. It’s not that I didn’t like her, but she confused me. At first she was very judgmental and after the second half of the book, she was accepting everything without second thoughts. But, I have to admit that I admired her for her determination to help her mother and put her dreams on hold.

I don’t know why but in this series I don’t really like the female main characters but I love the male main characters! And that’s true about Scott also! Why? He’s dominant, sexy and the kind of guy who will call when you have a problem. He’s honest and he doesn’t say something that he won’t mean.
The only thing I didn’t like with him in this book is the relationship with his father. I am with Scott’s side, of course, but I wanted from the author to analyze this relationship more.

But, there is one more person that had my interest in this book: Blade. I really want to read his story and I have a feeling that it will be wild!

No matter my problems with this story, if it’s your kind of read, you should give it a try!

Really enjoyed this kinda tame biker story. Both the hero and heroine were very like-able. There is no fucking around or cheating by the hero which was kind of refreshing. He does think about fucking other women before he gets together with the heroine... but he never does. That said...I like my bikerbooks a bit rougher. I would have liked more insight into the clublife and all the members. There is not a lot of time spend in the clubhouse, just the stripclub they own.

I also would have liked to read more about Scott, Madison, Blade and there asshole of a father (who is the clubpresident). It would have been nice to see them unite at the end and kick him out of the club. Things probably don't work that way..but damn their dad was a douche and Scotts mother was just pathetic. Maybe there will be more about this in the next books...hopefully a book about Blade ;)

Still I really enjoyed the storyline. I didn't read the first book, which made it a bit confusing for me in the beginning but eventually things cleared up for me.

I think I will be reading more of this series...I'm a little bit curious about Blade...he was a very interesting character.

So if you like bikerbooks, but you don't like them too rough...you should give this one a try.

3+ stars from me!

I'm glad I picked up this series again, it's been a while since I read the first book.

The Storm MC guys are seriously a hot bunch of men, a bit scarily so. And I love my heroes brooding and all alpha, so Scott was definitely my cup of tea. Shot of whiskey, whatever. I also liked Harlow, she couldn't be scared or deterred easily and stood her ground against Scott.

So while I loved the characters, I expected more from the storyline. It was a little predictable and at times didn't flow as I expected it to be. Definitely giving a chance to the next book, though.

It's been a while since I have read a book that I actually want to post a review on. My 2014 reading year was rather disappointing. Of the books I read, only a few I truly liked and actually wanted to discuss. My reading list of 2014 included a few biker stories, and I'm not sure that I actually finished any of them. Yes, they were that bad. So you can only imagine how pleasantly surprised I was to have enjoyed Fierce.

I'm pretty sure if you gotten to my review, then you have read the synopsis, no need to repeat it here. All I can say is that Fierce successfully did what other biker books have failed to miserably to attempt. A story about bikers that weren't a**holes or misogynistic with a leading lady that wasn't a complete idiot tearing off her clothes at the first moment they were alone.

The characters were well rounded, imperfect, without being TSTL or needing a serious kick in the groin. I liked them, I understood them. They made mistakes, and apologized for them. They were what I would expect reasonable human beings to be like. Scott was a biker with all the rough edges that it implies, with a heart of gold. I loved him through and through. Harlow, was an excellent contrast, she had back bone, wouldn't let him push her around, but also, didn't stupidly defy to just to show she could (or to make the book more suspenseful- I personally hate that plot device).

I liked how the story developed, not to fast not to slow. I did not guess at where the suspenseful part of the story would lead. Where it led made me want to read more, especially if Blade has his own story. I like that certain things remained unfinished, such as resolution (one way or another) between Scott and his dad.

Fierce was a definite win-win -- Nina Levine won a new fan, and I found a new biker series to read.

And that is how you write an alpha male who is a dickhead, but doesn't go overboard with it to the point you hate him. I love the way Nina writes. It's real. It's all about the story. It contains everything that makes you fall in love with a book. I find myself picky about MC books. They seem to be a dime a dozen. So when you get one that is just an uncomplicated story about a biker who meets his match in a smart-mouthed girl and gets brought to his knees you find yourself falling in love. Nina combines hot males with smart ass woman that makes you want to stick around to watch them battle it out.

Scott and Harlow meet and the pissed off sexual vibes start. Scott is a dick at first. Watching him interact with Harlow will have you laughing, cringing and hoping to hell they make dirty love. When the action starts and the side of Scott that screams protector comes out to play I knew I was a goner.

The thing about Nina's writing is that when you are reading her story you can just tell she puts a part of herself into it. The sense of humor she injects into her female characters is one of the many reasons I keep coming back. She has the alpha male nailed to a tee.

Don't shoot me, I know this is an MC book but I could have had a book just about Harlow. I love a strong female and Harlow is a bad ass woman wrapped in a "curvy" little package.

Scott is moody and brooding but also very sexy. They both are fiercely loyal and protective of the people they love. I liked the chemistry between them and they way she seemed to "tame" his mean streak.

I also love the back story as you get more from all of the characters in the Storm MC.

Where Madison and J's story was intense Harlow's and Scott's story felt a little easy. Equally as good if not better and I can't wait for more from the Storm boys.

Hot dirty mouth biker

Hot biker Scott takes shit from no-one so when Harlow crosses his path with the same attitude this dirty mouthed Alpha male finally meets his match.

Both fall hard and in the mix with this hot read is club wars, drama, previous book characters and oh did I mention hot already.

Great mc read yet again from Nina Levine queen of alpha male dirty mouthed hotties.
