Leia Stone is an amazing writer.

I think this is my first Leia Stone series, but I sure plan on reading more. I have been enjoying this series so much.

Wowsah....Just wowsah. When I finished this book last night I legit just had no words for the journey this book took me on. It was hands down one of the best yet heart wrenching new read books I have read this year. I literally just have so many emotions when it comes to this story, I'm honestly not really sure how to process them all. This series is truly a work of out and one that Leia should be extra, extra proud of.

With this book I knew it was going to be a hard read, especially with how things end up at the end of Year Two - with Bri being taken into Hell and thought dead by all her friends and family. This story picks up right off from there with Bri in Hell and let me tell you you literally experience everything right there with her. Her heart ache, determination, fears, defeat, strength, sadness...its all yours too. As Lucy (our favourite nickname for the Evil Big Bad Lucifer), tries to break Bri and to meld her into his perfect protege be prepared you may need some tissues, like seriously I'm not kidding. He literally uses everything against her to get her onboard. But it is through this that Bri finds her inner self and light and learns there's a lot more beneath her surface than she ever realised (with Sera's help of course too 😉). Against all odds Bri actually forms a unique friendship of all places down below with her Nanny, who automatically picks up on her goodness and fighting spirit.

"She looked down at me with an unreadable gaze while I crossed my arms in defiance. Finally she sighed, and pinched the bridge of her nose "You're too good for this place. You'll never be what he needs.""

Not to say it isn't a rocky friendship coz well afterall we are in Hell but you never know. It is in the most unlikely of places that you can stumble across friendship.

You'll be brought to tears by the sheer love, loyalty and determination Bri has for her family. She will stop at nothing until she's with them again. And once she is...She is going to stop at nothing to destroy Lucy for all the pain and suffering he has caused.

This is one book you do not want to miss. So find a comfy spot because if you're anything like me, you will not want to move until that book is finished.

All I can say though with the tumultuous journey Leia takes us on, with this book I am so flipping relieved that there was no cliffhanger. You're probably thinking what?! But guys believe me so much heart-breaking stuff goes down in this book that when you finally get to the end you will be completely satisfied and happy that it doesn't have one. Believe me. You'll understand me when you read it.

This is one hell of a read (no pun intended lol) Leia has truly out down herself. I can't wait to have the privilege of reading what this emotion-churning author has in store for us. Thank you Leia for this absbloomin' killer of a book!

Love

I love the fact that she calls Lucifer Lucy. And I love her spirit and her willingness to fight for what she believes is right, most especially her family. And Lincoln fits her perfectly.

Didn’t I say these were addictive?
They sure have gotten a hell of a lot darker.
But I like to see my badass protagonist come into her own.

“Sometimes that’s all we needed, one friend rooting for us when we couldn’t root for ourselves any longer.”
I had goosebumps like 50 % of the time because this was indeed the best book of the series!

4.5 stars. I am eating this series up like candy. I can't get enough. This is the 3rd book in the Fallen Academy series. We saw Brie as she was trapped in the underworld by Lucifer and watched her do everything she could to survive and best Lucifer so she could try to make it back to her friends and family at Fallen Academy. I was captivated the whole time. I can't wait to see what happens in book 4.

Audible: The audiobook was good. I enjoyed the narration.

I started this novel at 11pm. It is now currently 4am, and I am in tears.

The only good part of lockdown is being able to sleep in today.

Least I can say my reading slump is over :)

Mon avis en Franaçais

My English review

I had a good time with the first two volumes and I was curious to see what would happen to Brielle after the consequences of the previous novel.

Brielle is now in Hell and doesn’t know how to get out, especially since everyone on Earth thinks she’s dead. She has little hope and is constantly being watched. It’s not easy. Yet, our heroine doesn’t lose hope and may well find an unlikely ally.

I enjoyed discovering this novel. It was nice to see what Hell was really like and especially to see how our heroine would cope on her own. Many things are started and new problems appear. I’m quite curious to see how our heroes will deal with them!

Wow what an amazing book!

This book really doesn't spare your emotions!

You've got Bri all on her own in Hell, trying to survive Lucifer and the demons, not really knowing what's happening to her loved ones back in Angel City.
Then you've got Bri's loved ones who think she's gone, and you see how they're dealing/not dealing with it.

We also meet some new really intruiging characters, who i'm looking forward to knowing more about!

I'm not going to give anything away, but I can tell you that as with the other books in this series, it's about love, hope, family, and still some humor sprinkled in there.

Loved it and can't wait for Book 4!!

I was kind of disappointed with the third book, as I feel that the series is draggy and slow now:( hope that the conclusion will be good:)
3.5/5 (Why can't I give the same score as the last time?!)

Dad vibes

Sorry but how does the MC just get weaker from one book to the next? How do you forget all of your training? How did you keep letting demons punk you? Why we're all the infiltration plans so blah?

Good pacing but too fast in the end. Revelations and plot points were just dealt with a bit too quickly und I really was dissipointed about the emotional handeling (or lack there of) so I couldn't truly connect with the characters. Still a nice read though.

It's getting progressively ridiculous with each consecutive book.Author constantly forgets the world or character abilities she had tried to build and brings them up only when it suits the story, completely forgetting them when not needed. For example.Raphael is a mind reader ,yet he is constantly clueless on inner dialogue of other characters unless it suits the story.World is a ongoing war zone where demons rule, yet all angel blessed only feel discomfort in Demon city. And not in San Francisco. Guess it is just one half town with that effect?
Hell uses medication to push prisoners into submission. Really? Medication and a light threat of cut finger of mother is all MC needs to be broken. Isn't Hell supposed where unspeakable evil and terror is? No? Ok.
Main heroine (still don't remember her name) is infantile to the point of ridicule. Talk imagining cartoon hearts around her boyfriend, crushing on married man ,ruining complicated undercover operation that is ment to save lives of countless kids because of selfish reasons, etc.She never stops to consider consequences and acts like a spoiled brat who only cares for her own immediate wants.Who cares who will suffer as long as she gets what she wants. She is supposed to be compassionate, but aside for a fleeting thought, never cares for anyone. At age of 21.Acting like 12 y old.
And story.Oh,God,the mess that the story is.It consists of sketches author noted down how she wanted the story to progress and she never actually filled out anything. The story is a mad run of rapid events that barely strings together.Zero logic, zero reasoning.
The writing or "storytelling voice" is that of a teenager.

The cover girl is still pretty though,so there is one plus to this book.

Oh my unholy Satan babies!!! This was one spellbinding and at times frightening addition to one cravable and unpredictable series! Bri is faced with situations that will test her far beyond anything she thought possible. Her worst nightmares are starkly played out before her and she's forced to do a will that is not her own. I totally cried several times while reading this and totally flipped out at the ending.... which was utterly perfect!! I cannot wait to see what awaits these memorable characters in year four!! This is both heartbreakingly torturous and also will have you sighing with allllll the feels!! Ms. Stone has created one of the best celestial series ever!! Her attention to detail and the pacing of this was so beautifully perfect 💖💖💖 These covers drawn you in, but her words keep you turning those pages!!

Amazing

Book three is this totally addicting series. This one picks up where book 2 left off and that was Lucifer taking Brielle with him. No she has to fight and stay smart to stay alive and escape there to get back to everyone she loves and cares especially Lincoln!

So, I feel like the fact that I read this in a couple hours speaks for itself. To be fair my reading speed is quick, but I honestly couldn’t put this down! After the HUGE cliffhanger from the last book I just HAD to know what happened. I was on the edge of my seat hoping Brielle would be united with Lincoln and her family. Don’t want to spoil anything, but this book is awesome! Can’t wait to read the next one!!

This was my favorite of the series, so far. I love the plot and how half the book was down in hell. I liked seeing that bit of the world and Lucifer is definitely bonkers in this! I'm sooo glad she made an actual true friend and I hope by the end of the series she is able to rescue R and reunite her with her family. I think Brielle made better choices in this book and she actually made plans instead of just doing. When they planned saving Lincoln, they made an actual plan and figured things out. That was smart and much better than her normal behavior. I can't wait to see how things go and them getting married at the end brought tears to my eyes. Hopefully they wait to bring any children into the world. I'm also glad her brother is doing better! He is mastering his wolf.

3.5 stars. Like other books in this series, this was an entertaining read. I listened to the audiobook, and it was well done.

I really like the found family in this book, the archangels included. Michael cracks me up.

at the beginning of Hell, I started to sizzle Brielle with Lucifer and they could have become a fiery couple, but by the middle he became an asshole, allowed to beat my flower and something else.Lincoln still hasn't been able to get a place in my heart, but he's cool, selfless and fits the heroine✌️

• the main angels are still awesome
• I hope that woman from Hell stayed alive and she will return to her family
• I want the same friends as the heroine.I cannot describe these people and their willingness to help and sacrifice

I really missed this atmosphere, these books are one of the only ones that I can read so quickly and have fun and I don't want to think that we are coming to the end of the story😭

I can't find information about spin-offs, but if you know something, please write🙏
