I almost never read dark romance books anymore, but when I do, they’re Pam Godwin books. I love this woman’s writing and I’m so invested in these characters and their stories. I have been anticipating Ricky and Martin’s book for so long, and it didn’t disappoint. It may have been the most intense, dark, and erotic of the bunch.
Tula Gomez is a Spanish teacher from Arizona. She lives a quiet life, but her sister in Mexico… not so much. When she gets a call that her sister needs her, she goes. The last thing she expects is to be locked up in a Mexican prison and sentenced to 5 years. She doesn’t know how she will survive this, but she’s resourceful. She finds a way. When the cartel leader in lock up with her befriends her, she’d be stupid to turn away at his protection.
Martin and Ricky show up to the prison a few years after Tula’s been there. No one in Area 3 of their cell block knows what to make of these Americans but it’s Tula’s job to find out. She never expects to fall for one of them, let alone both. These three find out each others secrets, open up to each other in ways they never have before, and fall hard.
The sexual tension in this book was off the charts. First off, we know Ricky has been in love with his best friend Martin for YEARS and Martin has been celibate for his own reasons for years. Then we add Tula to the mix. Gah! It was just so good.
As always, there were so many twists and turns I didn’t see coming. I love that this author never fails to shock me. Also, after seeing who the heroine is for Luke’s book… omg. I don’t even know how that’s going to go but I can’t wait to find out!
If you’re looking for a book that’s raw, unapologetically dark, steamy as all get out, and one that will make you feel, pick this one up. This entire series is fantastic and I can’t recommend it enough!

Once again Pam Godwin captured my attention with this dark and taboo read! I always expect to think outside of the box when I read one of her stories. This whole series has brought me out of my comfort zone and yet I still loved it all! I will warn readers that these books are not to be taken lightly. There is rape, kidnapping, and major violence... but within all of that depravity, love is found and from the ashes happiness comes!
In this instalment, you can expect a ménage relationship, as well as male/ male sex. If this isn’t your thing then you definitely want to pass on it. For me, I absolutely fell in love with the relationship between Tula, Martin, and Ricky. It was sooo intense and their sexual encounters were blazing hot!!! Their story was one I devoured and just couldn’t put it down! I only had a small complaint and that was I felt the conclusion was kind of rushed. Other than that I gobbled this right up!
If you are someone that loves dark reads, then this series is one you don’t want to miss!

Ever since reading the previous book Take, I have been on pins and needles to read Ricky and Martin's story. I have to be honest though, I was a tad bit disappointed when I found out that there was gonna be a lady between these two hot men. Everyone knows how much I love my MM books ;) No worries though.. I still got mine :P
Thankfully, my disappointment didn't last too long, since Talu was a pretty amazing heroine. I love how strong she was ... and believe me she needed to be. This is a pretty dark series and this book is no exception. Right from the start, Tula is subjected to the most horrible of crimes...by those who are supposed to protect !!!
In a flash, she went from being a law-abiding English teacher to being an inmate in one of Mexico's most dreaded prisons...and all in the name of sisterly love.
In order to survive, she is forced to say goodbye to her former self and become cold and vacant.
To survive, she needed to become like them.
She makes a move that saves her life...but it also forces her to become part of the La Rocha Cartel.... the one her mother always warned her to stay away from. Being a teeny tiny woman in a prison full of (horny) dangerous men...she doesn't have much of a choice though. So she says goodbye to the Tula of old.
She wasn't prepared for Ricky (and) Martin though...then again...who would have been Yowza !!
Martin and Ricky are two of Van's former (sex) victims and are now part of a group fighting the good fight, and trying to stop as many sex traffickers as they possibly can. They volunteered to be locked up for three months to try and take down the La Rocha Cartel from the inside.
It's no secret that these boys are really close...closer than is normal for best friends and if it were up to Ricky, they would be even closer :P But Martin doesn't seem interested in Ricky...or any other man (or woman) for that matter. So Ricky has almost given up...almost.
Thankfully Ricky is not a quitter because thanks to a little help from Tula, he is about to find out just how much Martin really wants him....and her. This book was HOT... !!
It was also chock full of triggers and the angst was slapping me in the face from beginning to end.
This was definitely one of my favorites in the series, though Van will always be top dog for me. He had a really nice part in this one as well...which made me a very happy camper.
I also want to give some credit to a certain character I started out hating with a vengeance, but who earned my forgiveness ...and even a bit of my respect ;)

Devastatingly gritty, emotionally gripping, and stunningly dark, Manipulate was everything I've come to expect from the brilliant mind of Pam Godwin and SO. MUCH. MORE. This was an edge of your seat and keep you up well into the night sort of read.
I've been waiting for Martin and Ricky's book for what feels like forever. And man, was their book worth the wait. It was even better than my expectations. And that NEVER happens.
The book starts with the introduction of the heroine, a woman that we haven't met yet in the series. Her story is full of twists and turns, and devastating experiences that mold her into the woman that she is today; someone locked up in one of the most violent prisons and completely on her own.
Martin and Ricky get put into the prison in order to gather information on a brutal cartel boss that runs one of the worst human trafficking and slave rings. The stunning beauty is not someone they saw coming when they entered the prison full of murders and the worst sort of human scum. But she may also be the one that has all of the answers that they seek.
The sexual tension in this book was EVERYTHING. As much as I was dying for more glimpses into Martin and Ricky together and exactly what makes Martin tick, I couldn't get enough of they dynamic with Tula. She seemed to complete a puzzle piece that neither one of them thought was missing.
Martin was a beautifully broken enigma for a long time in this series. I was salivating for just a little more of a peek into what made him who he is today; a man that's on a hair trigger when it comes to anything sexual. And let me tell you, when his whole history comes to light, I wanted to throw up. It was gut wrenchingly dark. Ricky was the light to his dark, even though he doesn't exactly have an easy past himself after the painful tutelage of Van during his slave training years.
There's so much that happens in this book that made it completely impossible to set it down for even a second. I love that Pam NEVER writes heroines that need rescuing. She writes these incredibly broken, yet strong and persevering women that you can't help but connect with and root for. Tula was certainly not an exception to this. Her story was dark and painful and oh so twisty. I loved every page of it. I loved her and Martin and Ricky together. I was addicted to every page of this book and was dying for more when I finished. I can't wait for the next installment after the revelation in the end.

⇢ question: is labeling a book a dark romance enough to forgo all trigger warnings? I’m not sure. There were none to be found here and this book, probably the whole series, would’ve needed a handful of those. (what I could think of I listed at the end of my review)
This book is intense to say the least. But gloriously so.
We follow Tula into the most dangerous and ruthless prison in Latin America for a crime she didn’t commit where she ends up by sheer “luck” under the protection of a very powerful cartel boss. Two years later, under the disguise of imprisonment two Americans, Ricky and Martin, get there as well to bring down said cartel boss for his sex trafficking operation. Tula, as Hector La Rocha’s confidant and only woman in their part of the prison, is tasked with getting involved with these two men to investigate what brought them there und where their loyalties lie to not just off them right away. But Tula is not prepared for the way Martin and Ricky affect her, nor are the two men for her.
Where these three came from, what they went through and go through together is captivating and thrilling as well as gut wrenching, risky and dangerous. But it all leads them to soul crushing love. A love Martin and Ricky already shared before they went into that prison but never acted on before.

My MM loving heart sang with reading their story but specially Martin’s story also broke my heart. All of theirs did, tbh. And while it often feels in an MMF like the female stands a little more center for the guys it felt pretty balanced to me here. The guys’ love story felt as important for the author to tell than the respective love Martin and Ricky felt for Tula.
And Christian Fox, Aiden Snow and Lila Winters made this even better with their audio narration.
side note: I read this as a complete standalone and it was totally fine.

She did whatever it took to survive, until new inmates Ricky Saldivar and Martin Lockwood shook up her foundation and risked crumbling her future.
Right from the beginning, this book set the tone for the rest of the story - dark, depraved, and violent. I was able to immerse myself in the oppressive ambiance by the characters’ experiences.
I loved how Tula was such a tough character for having to go through those nightmares. Ricky was sexy and amusing but my heart went to Martin because I’m drawn to characters with a certain past. Tula and Martin were well developed but I wanted to know more about Ricky’s past.
The sex scenes were hot and intense especially the ones that were on the verge of brutality. I enjoyed the overall storyline. However, a certain character’s turning point seemed too easy. I would have preferred more angst accompanying the decision. Also, I have to say that I really liked the villains. Yes both of them.
Manipulate is a story survival and turning back to life. I would appeal to readers who enjoy a graphic dark erotic romance.

Manipulate is completely engrossing and intense that will evoke a spine-tingling emotion when you meet these characters. Everyone has an agenda to outdo one another,
the question is... who will manipulate who? So brace yourself for this is going to be one dark,
twisted, and hot AF but enjoyable read. Tula, Ricky, and Martin are flawed by different circumstances but they find each other and the love they all deserved.
If you wish to give this series a try, read the first book first. That has a background you’ll need to enjoy the series and also reading them in order for you to savor each character. This series is a dark romance that will push you out of your comfort zone. I have enjoyed them all and look forward to the next. A great series I highly recommend!

If you know me, you already know that the perspective of a MMF book has me so excited I could scream in the middle of the street. AND if you add the fact it is written by one of my favourite writer, then you have one very happy woman right here!
Manipulate is the 6th book in the Deliver series and it shouldn’t be read as a standalone. They are too many connections with previous books to enjoy it completely. The main story continues with every book and to be fully immerse in this dangerous and dark world you should start from the beginning.
In here, you have Martin & Ricky ( or Ricky Martin as you probably would end up calling them) who became the closest of friends after what happened to them seven years ago. Both of them are still trying to process what they’ve been through while being on a mission to annihilate the enemies they have.
Both men have feelings for each other but while Martin is reluctant, Ricky is ready for more.
Then there’s also Petula whose life changed completely when she tried to help her sister. Instead, she found herself beaten and let in a cell with a 5 years sentence for something she never did.
Manipulate is like Pam’s other books; a dark read. She plunged us in a world where only the strong ones survived. I was at the edge of my seat trying to catch my next breath with each page I turned! Pam doesn’t spare any of us with the cruelty in some actions.
The only light you’ll have is between our three MC. As I said at the beginning, I was thrilled when I learned it was a MMF. I’ve always enjoyed witnessing love between three people. I think it is extremely difficult to write and do this kind of interactions justice. In my opinion, you need to feel the love equally through all parties. Once again, Pam Godwin has done is beautifully. Love doesn’t come easily and trust is earned step by step.

I swear I start every Pam Godwin book with my heart in my throat because I honestly have no idea where her stories are going to take me. I am equally excited and filled with trepidation as I know the treacherous and dark paths her stories have traveled on before but nothing prepared me for Tula, Martin and Ricky's story in Manipulate. This was so dark and delicious I had chills!
Without giving away any spoilers, Godwin's unbelievably amazing Deliver series continues with the sixth installment, Manipulate, where Ricky and Martin go undercover in one of the most dangerous and ruthless prisons in Latin America. But they never expected to encounter Petula "Tula" Gomez and the affect she would have on both men and the lasting consequences of their love.
Gah!!! This book was probably one of the darkest books I have ever read. Good Lord I slammed my kindle shut at times because I did not think I had it in me to continue. But boy am I glad I did. This was one of the best dark romances this author has written. It was so raw and intense and filled with so much pain and turmoil I had to catch my breath at times. But the love between Ricky, Martin and Tula was on another level. Their physical chemistry was FIRE but their emotional connection was a bright and powerful shining light in their bleak lives in prison. I truly loved them all and I cannot wait until Luke and Vera's story! 5 stars! ~Ratula

Finally finished this audiobook! took a break months ago because I had a big reading slump but I never stopped thinking about this story, it’s a MMF prison romance, the two men have been best friends for years and have had insane tension the entire time but have never acted on it because of the trauma that one of them had gone through and was still working through. This entire series is filled with so much unending love in spite of the darkness they are surrounded by, and I loved Martin Ricky and Tulas story so much. Also, it was very hot. Obviously

I'm really invested in the series and got the last two on order. Each books are dark and contains a lot that is difficult to read at the same time but the romances and spice is as intense as the plot.

Wow just wow!!!
This series just keeps getting better and better. This series is crazy dark and very sexy each book pushes the boundaries more and more. Each character just get more screwed up in these books and things just keep getting harder for them. This book was no different it was dark, intense, scary, sexy and brilliant. I've been looking forward to this book for ages I was dying to get more of Ricky and Martin. I knew a small bit about them and there past but I want more more there was just something about Ricky that I luvd.
Ricky and Martin have known each other for 7 years since being part of a group that take a down human trafficking. They have been close but Ricky wishes they were closer. He has had feelings for Martin for years but Martin has none of it. There flirty ways don't go unnoticed but still Martin won't let Ricky in there best friends and always will be. Martin just can't let Ricky in he can't put his evils way on Ricky and no matter what there into he wouldn't want to put the evil on Ricky. Martin's goes been through that evil for a long time he isn't goin to let his past run off on Ricky. Even though all he want is to be with him and has to fight it everyday. But things were goin to get harder on there next mission.
Petula/Tula Gomez is goin through a nightmare after getting a phone call from her sister Vera saying she was in trouble. Like alway Tula goes to rescue her but this time things don't go to plan and she ends up goin through the worst torture plus ends up in the worst prison in Mexico. Life doesn't get any easier over the time she there but she does get a small bit of protective but it's comes from La Rocha Cartel. Now she had to deal with the worst cartel boss ever but getting close would keep her safe.
When Ricky and Martin got put into area 3 where Tula was they knew straight away they had to get close to her. She was there way in but they didn't imagine this beautiful woman turning there heads in a different direction. They couldn't deny how beautiful she was and it even got Martin feeling things that he has fought for a years. Once they got close things got intense and sexy straight away but they knew they couldn't use her to get what they wanted and she couldn't use them either. There connection was instant and grew to become something they all thought they would never have.
This book was just brilliant like I said at the beginning everything about this series and book is great. The story are intense in parts but the story is so well written. It's one this that I can say about this author is that her books are so well written and the detail is brilliant. There isn't anything that's left out. I would recommend what you read these books in order they can be read has standalone but you would really enjoy them more by reading the rest. You won't be disappointed this series/book is amazing and I would highly recommend it and this author.

Tula, Ricky, Martin........ Ok so my last review I said I didn't think Pam could shock me again well yeah she did. This story broke my heart for more than one reasons and I didn't want it to end. I wanted more and more !!! Tula was a warrior and damn I was proud of her. Ricky was devoted, strong, sexy, protective and oh so loveable! Martin bless his heart was closed off, defensive, protective, sexy, strong then open, honest, loveable and amazing! This story got all my feels going!! OMG!!! Manipulation has never felt so good!!! I know I already said that about the previous book, but this one is my new favorite of the series!
That's simple, there are stories you never want to reach the end of, and Manipulate is one of them.
At turn dangerous, sensual, gruesome, raw and sweet, Ricky, Tula and Martin's story had my head spinning with the depth of their emotions.
I felt for everyone of them, hurting with them, sharing their heartache and their losses. I fought their demons and smiled at their intimacy.
Tula is such a resilient woman! Her metamorphosis from the sweet English teacher she was into the confident, lethal and determined inmate was incredible. Between the intense damaged Martin and the charming and laid-back Ricky, she both stood her ground and submitted to their seduction. The author mastered the balance of this incredible trio. Their complicity, the longing and the frustration they dealt in their relationship is one I rarely felt.

The characters she's created have Yin & Yang personalities. They're dangerous and protective,sadists and masochistss, exacting and forgiving...all in the same frame.
This book has heroism and dreadful villainy side by side.
The coin flip in personality had me hating Garra to loving him and from loving Hector to wanting to slit his throat.

Manipulate had me strung out on emotions. It was a wild ride that is not for the faint hearted as it tackles issues, that may be triggering to some in graphic detail. The sex scenes are smoking hot, I think they might be the hottest of the series this far. I think what I loved most about was the dynamics between the main characters and their resilience. I loved that they didn't allow circumstances or their past experiences to dictate their future. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series and definitely recommend to those who love dark romance.

Every time Pam is ready to tell us another story in this series,i sit up straight,pre-order straight away and lose any chance of sleep until i’ve devoured every single word. And Manipulate was só worth it! Again! I never thought i could say that at book 6 in the series,but it is still getting better by the book!
This time it’s Ricky and Martin’s story,and they’re after Hector La Rocha. Only problem? He’s in the worst prison of Mexico,Jaulaso. Once they’ve managed to get in,they’re in one hell of a surprise,though.....
Tula went back to Mexico after her sister Vera called her,needing her help desperately. She gets arrested,being mistaken for her sister,and is falsely accused of drug smuggling. To her utter horror,she is braught to Jaulaso where she has to fight for her life. When she gets a chance at staying in area three,Hector’s domain,she takes it. Anything to survive. And after she saves his life,he takes her under his protection. When two americans enter area three,she is the one to gain their trust. To find out why they’re there,and if they are willing to join the La Rocha cartel.
Only once they see eachother,once they get to know eachother,all rational thoughts are out the window. All that matters in the end is....them. They connect. But Ricky and Martin are being released after three months,and she has another three years to go.....

Just the cover alone was enough to have me begging for this book. Please give me this book. Please. Please. Pretty. Please.
I finished it this morning. I read it on my usual commute on the bus, knowing at 85% done and Monday morning traffic I was likely to finish it. Arrived at the bus stop, 2 chapters to go. My whimpers of distress were largely ignored by my fellow bus wankers. No one came to comfort the crying mad woman at the back of the bus.
The only thing to do and the right thing to do was to go to my desk and finish it. Ok so the Head of Commercial department may have been sat a couple of desks away from me. Get thee gone my boss’s, boss’s, boss - Tula, Ricky and Martin need to get to the conclusion. My life depended on it.
Some 10 hours later, my heart has stopped racing, my breathing has returned to normal, I’ve messaged Pam Godwin and told her she is sick and twisted but my word, I loved, loved, loved this book. Threesomes are totally my jam (in books not in RL).

Hot dayum. These books keep getting hotter AND darker with each installment.
I must admit MMF is one of my dirty little favorite tropes. Not only the hot push and pull of male male romance, but stick a lucky girl in that mix, and it’s scorching.
We’d seen blips of Martin and Ricky in past books. Two best friends, secretly in love, bisexual but not willing to “go there.” Well, I think Ricky was always up for it but Martin had his reasons for his self imposed abstinence. Their angsty push and pull was what I most looked forward to in Manipulate. Add our heroine, an innocent American school teacher who was at the wrong place at the wrong time in Mexico while looking for her sister. Falsely accused of a crime she didn’t commit, she finds herself in the pits of Mexican prison hell. Where it’s a battle each day to simply stay alive amongst the worst of cartel members.
This series is far from the hearts and flowers kind of romance stories a typical romance reader goes for. It’s dark and gritty and has elements that may trigger people. I love all things Pam Godwin and I really think she excels at this type of trope. In all it’s dirty corruption, violence and pain, there’s a beauty in her writing and a love story nestled within her pages. We are always left with a complete story for each set of characters in each book, a happy ending and a sense of need for the story to continue further with more related characters.
As always, I am feverishly looking forward to the next installment in the Deliver series.

Not my favorite of the series so far, but still a fantastic read.
It would have been another 5 star if Martin & Ricky had taken more part in 'Investigating' with Tula. Seems like she did all the work in that area.
Loaded with adult steamy scenes that sat my kindle on fire. There definitely was no lack in the connection and sexy loving between the 3 mc's.
The beginning was painful to read.
A lot of violence and crime throughout.
The writing flow was fantastic. You definitely connected with the characters.
Very Erotic & Sinfully Delicious.
