Instalove Christmas 2.5 stars
This was a short safe instalove story. There really wasn’t a lot to it.
-no cheating
-no ow/om drama
-no virgins
-no very steamy
-NO EPILOGUE which brought my rating down
-definitely won’t be checking out the brother story as it isn’t safe. The h in that story goes back to her ex and is engaged to him. Not my jam

If you're looking for something short and sweet like a Christmas gumdrop, then look no further.
Josh and Jo are sweet together, and the chemistry is instantaneous. However, I still feel like more could've been done to develop their connection more organically. I realize this is an OTT instalove romance, but the two had hardly spent any time together and all of a sudden, they're soulmates. Sure, some stories can get away with that, but here, it just didn't work for me. Also, I felt Josh's character could've been developed a bit more, beyond hot biker dude with a successful bike shop. (Pop by Megan Wade did that leagues better, in case anyone's looking for recommendations.)
Granted, both complaints are minor, and neither detract from my overall enjoyment nor keep me from recommending this book.
P.S. real talk: Jake and Teagan. There is definitely a story there, and I gotta say I am intrigued.
Overall Verdict: 8 mall Santas out of 10.

Wonderful!! This was a nice quick, short read. I really enjoyed this one.
Josh and Jo met when they are both working the holiday, he's Santa while she takes pictures. Josh is filling in for his brother Jake, who had to go out of town unexpectedly. When Josh tries to fit into the Santa outfit it's to small on his and it rips. Josh tries to find the woman in charge but runs into Jo who tells him she'll sew up the rip. While Jo is sewing Josh's pants they start to talk, he finds out that she's taking pictures. Soon Josh finds out that Jo is having a hard time with money, her rent just went up and she's been losing clients. Josh asks Jo if she'll go out with him, but she's not dating. Josh asks Jo if she'd like to come to his house for dinner and they'll talk about a business plan for her business. Jo tells Josh she'll come as long as it's not a date. Josh pick Jo up on his motorcycle, and heads back to his house, where he cooks her dinner. Josh tells Jo about what he does, and then advices her on how to make more money. Josh kisses Jo but she tells him she's not dating right now. Jo asks Josh if he'll take her home and he does. The next day Josh can't stop thinking about Jo, and when he gets to work he's putting on the Santa outfit when there's a knock on his door. Jo has a plate of cookies and offers Josh one. Josh then tells Jo they found someone else to play Santa so this will be his last night. The next day Josh can't stand the thought of not seeing Jo again so he heads to her apartment but he stands there and she doesn't come home. When Josh gets home he sees someone standing on his porch, he finds Jo with a box in her hands. Jo tells Josh she's been there for a while waiting on him, they head inside. Josh tells Jo that he can't stand the thought of not seeing her and he'll take this as slow as she wants. Jo tells Josh she wants to start seeing him she wants to be more than friends. Josh asks Jo what's in the box and she tells him she wants to decorate for Christmas. Josh asks Jo if she'll come to his parents for Christmas since she'll be spending it all alone. Josh kisses Jo and then carries her to his bedroom. Josh pleasures Jo and then she pleasures him, when they wake up the next day they make love. One week later, on Christmas Day Jo is telling Josh about the replacement Santa they hired when there's a knock on the door. Josh finds his brother Jake standing with something in his arms. Josh asks his brother where he's been and then realizes his brother is holding a baby in his arms. Josh knows this is going to be one interesting Christmas....

He finds his best Christmas treat ever
Josh's Curvy Christmas Treat turns out to be Jo. While he is filling in at the local mall playing Santa for his disappeared brother he meets curvy elf Jo. Jo is the photographer who also owns her own photography business. He happens to have a slight incident with the pants to the red suit and luckily Jo is able to mend them for him so the kids are not disappointed.
Over the course of the couple days they work together Josh just knows that Jo is his and needs to make her realize it also.
This is a really lovely, sweet, steamy and romantic short story that has two great characters with Josh and Jo and an entertaining story-line. I enjoyed reading Hi Curvy Christmas Treat and recommend it to everyone. Plus I am looking forward to reading the rest in this new series by Sadie King.

This one was a wee bit too short for me but I loved the idea behind it, and how they met.
I know it's a novella but I think if it had been a teeny, tiny bit linger I would have further enjoyed it.
Josh is stepping in as the store santa for his brother who has went and disappeared leaving him only a voice mail saying he can't do it and doesn't want to let the kids down.. brothers being brothers, josh steps in. He doesn't expect to meat Jo a curvy photographer who much to his embarrassment has to stitch up the back of his santa pants.
They spend the day today, laughing and joking and that's enough for josh to know he wants more of this interesting woman he can't stop thinking about.
And the rest is history

his story is short, fast paced and sweet. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. His curvy Christmas treat is the first book of Sadie King’s that I have read. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Josh’s brother wants a favour, Josh finds himself playing Santa at the local mall. From day one on the job, he meets Jo, the grotto photographer. From the moment they meet, Josh wants to claim Jo as his woman.
The chemistry between Jo and Josh is clear to see and I liked them as a couple.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

A really good Christmas story
Enjoyed reading Josh and Jo's love story. Josh is sitting in as a Santa for his brother who had some personal business to take care of. Jo works as the camera elf. They met because he blew out the back of the Santa pants and she volunteered to sew them up. They talked while he waited which included her photography business. He offered her dinner and advise on how to improve her business. They really hit it off but she told him she just wants to be friends. Read how that goes over. It's really a good holiday story. I listened (2x) to the audiobook with AI narration. The AI narrated male voice was good, but was missing the pauses and inflections that a live narrator gives. The short story is written in dual perspective; the AI narration was only in the male voice, which was very off-putting for the scenes from the female perspective. I would think that dual narration would be reasonably possible with AI narration. What little piece of storyline this includes is good. I was disappointed that the "curvy" aspects of the story included a fair amount of self-deprecation about being curvy or larger-bodied (male and female perspectives). Unsurprisingly for a short story, the smut lacked build-up and finesse.

I really should have looked at this harder before I downloaded it instead of just grabbing a bunch of Christmas themed books to get in the spirit. Though, at 52 pages, this is really short (even for a novella).
This is not a fated mates story, but it is Instalove without the magic. Josh lays eyes on Jo and his first thought is that she's his and he's going to marry her.

As a child, I always dreaded getting pictures with Santa done... but my Santa was NOT a smexy biker. Where did I need to go for this Santa? And how have I been missing out all of these years?! 🤣
This short, Christmasy, instalove read was a lot of fun to read. It sets up all sorts of Christmas spirit for you 🎄 (because Jo wouldn't have it any other way). 3.5 Stars - Cute Christmas short. Quick read. I enjoyed the writing. I loved the story line. He falls first and he falls fast. I mean really fast! It was just a little bit too much insta love for me. Josh sees Jo and boom! Shes his and he’s gonna marry her. When I say insta I mean insta! I know it’s a short story so it’s gonna be faster pace but that was just too fast. Cringy fast. But I was very drawn to Josh’s brother Jake’s story! I need to know what’s going on with him. Where he disappeared to! Will definitely be reading the next story.

Teague meets Jake on a modeling shoot. They have three days and one night together and then Teague runs away. Not bothering to talk to Jake and let him know that she's having his baby. Personally I think that Teague was selfish and ended up doing something that made her situation worse. I'll let you read the story to see what you think. Short quick story. A short, hot, sweet, steamy, and exciting read. The story-line is fast pace, well thought-out, funny, witty, and emotionally deep. The characters are amazing; their chemistry is potent, instant, and off the charts. A Must Read!

I absolutely adored this book! Josh and Jo are meant to be. I love that the relationship built a bit from friendship but loved most of all they they end up together. OMG that ending though! You know for a fact I’ll have to read Jake’s story ASAP!!

This very well written, interesting and entertaining short story that is emotionally gripping guaranteed to tug on your heart. Strong characters; the chemistry between them is explosive. This book is well though out and the drama and ups and downs make it quite the page turner. Definitely recommended.

Brilliant read
Josh is filling in as Santa for his brother who has gone AWOL the malfunction with his costume doesn’t improve his mood until he sees Jo who helps him out the attraction is instant but after she comes to his house for dinner Jo backs off but he isn’t going to let her go.

Instalove. Super cringe Christmas love story but I think that’s normal for an Instalove story. I think the virtual voice on audible made it even more cringy, not it for me. If I was read by a real person, I probably would have liked it more.
Naturally, I do want to know the brothers story just because I’m super nosy so I’m probably going to listen to the second one.

What a nice, spicy short story about finding love. I stayed intrigued the whole time. Most shorts tend to drag, but not this one. Although predictable, the ending has a big of a shock factor. Already downloading the next book of the series to find out what happens next.

Reading a bunch of shorter things to reach my GR goal but this one was very quick paced and horny. Maybe a lil unrealistic in terms of how fast that moved but it’s a short book for a reason.
Almost rated three stars because of how much he talks about possessing her and that there is like five minutes of dialogue only about his ass (and the audiobook was only an hour long lol)
