~THIS IS BOOK 2. DO NOT READ THIS BOOK IF YOU HAVEN'T READ 24690~
.

For the briefest moment, revenge was sweet. My husband was suffering before my very eyes, and Bram … he was alive.

But happiness didn’t last.

The man who claimed he wasn’t my savior held true to his word. Bram didn’t rush in and save me from the cruel fate of the White Room. No one did. Now I’m tortured with red light massacres and a hell I could have never imagined. Surviving will take everything I have, but I’m determined to get answers from the man who turned his back on me.

When I think it can’t get worse … it does. Slave 24690 is all but gone. The evil woman reborn is what nightmares are made of. Insanity beckons, but even my madness won’t derail the plans I’ve set in motion.

Masters will fall. Conspiracies will reign. But will I be strong enough to let go of the one thing that could ultimately destroy me?

I feel like I need to go hug a kitten or something after this book. 💀 I feel so weird saying that I liked this book because its themes are so disturbing🥲 but the story was so engaging 😭 It's like a gruesome car crash you just can't look away from.

This was absolutely insane and SO SO DARK. I think if anyone would want to venture to read this should know this is more of a thriller/ horror with questionable romance in it. It's not the fluffy romance or even the toxic romance you would find in dark romance books. This is more of the ACTUAL Stockholm Syndrome type of romance that you know is just wrong and does NOT end well.

At no point during this book did I know where this was headed. Everytime I thought I had an idea what would happen next, I would just be caught completely off guard.

Everliegh my girl🥲 I actually have no idea how this girl is not only still functioning, but expertly plotting and scheming considering her situation. Best believe I would have been in the fetal position for my whole damn life if I had to endure 1% of what she had to go through 🫡 Her character development was so well done imo.

The mmcs in this book are vile and they are supposed to be. However, there are still moments where I kinda felt for them or pitied them but then I would catch myself and be like no they deserve this. Being in their heads was so icky and scary😭

This book had A LOT of typos and grammar errors. I usually don't really care about that, especially with independent publishing, but some sentences actually made no sense because of how bad they were structured and the English Teacher in me was suffering🤣
The story did lag a bit in the middle with the same thing happening for a few chapters but the ending was 🤯

The first book in this series was without a doubt the DARKEST book I have EVER read but I can't stop thinking about Everliegh😭

This series has me in a CHOKEHOLD oh my god I can’t stop. I am OBSESSED!

I haven’t had a book (or bookS) that have kept me on my toes and had me so completely at its mercy in MONTHS. There has not been a single moment throughout this series so far that I have been able to even PRETEND to guess what is going to happen.

If you are okay with dark DARK DARKKKKKK shit, please please read this series.

There will be no breaks. I’m diving directly into book 3.

4.5 "WHITE - WIPE OUT" stars

The story in the White Out continues right where we left Bram, West and Everleigh in 24690.
I was the forgotten.
The discarded.
The pawn in a game bigger than myself.

The betrayal that ultimately pushed 24690 - the slave to become Everleigh Harper, a product of a longlife mindfuck games between two men…and a liftime of slaved intercourse before them, eventually put her to the brink of sane existence…she snapped

 photo white20out1_zps90kmlbmc.jpg

She was beyond angry, loose cannon, a very slippery liability with only one mission on her mind…and she will do the impossible to gain what was the ulterior motive, an incentive of her inner motion…

what she must have become to achieve what she originally craved for

Then the man who she thought was dead, actually wasn't, but he left her to experience the violation all over again, and she felt even lesser than the betrayed broken pupet. And yet she was torn inside herself bordering, if not already completely, crazy, while her two personalities fought the neverending war within.
It wasn't right to feel love and longing for a man you hated. It was the slav e in me. Where she was desperate to beg forgivness and throw herself at her Master's feet, the new me wouldn't display the smallest care for the monster before her.

The man who broke her, hurt her, would now pay, experiencing the exodus of all senses in torture of the WHITE OUT, a place devoid of it all. She would have her vengenace even if it takes the Hell itself to evoke to fulfill it.

BUT still the one man who left her, betrayed her semblance of what she thought was love,
He stole everything. Every sense I had. Every thought I harbored. My reactions. He redused me to nothing.

came back to claim it all over again. And the only win would be found in her defeat.
Slave twenty-four-six-ninety was mine, body and soul….The horrors of this place didn't alter that.

 photo 1cfa773a-24e5-4b6d-8c9c-443c5f0a45e8_zpsgqaa3ipz.jpg

These men who took it all from her, hurt her through emotional and physical degradation after showing her the miniscule of „ever possible light emotion“ in this hell hole of an existence, have learned her a lesson
We are all gluttonous bastards who lurk in this palace of perversions.
You couldn't tame monsters. Not even with love.

And they were now within Everleigh's reach, the roles have changed, they all became each other's pawns in their own hidden ploys, the hideous, twisted mind games, plots of revenge and vicious payback violations and desecrations were only the tip of the iceberg of inner shattering tearing, screaming, crying, bawling pain, the ticking bomb that would go off at any minute…and it would only take a nick of time to change the odds…forever…
My walls were high. Nothing was breaking through my armor ever again.
Not lies, not even love.
I'd be ready for everything this time.
My plans were great – my calculations, flawless.

She outplayed them all…
for now.

Oh man, this was one messy conclusion. It had twists on every corner, role changes, game changes, it was messy with gore, a lot of gore. It was a constant turmoil of fucked up, crazed psycological and emotional ripping and all you were faced with was a confusion and astonishment.

The ever changing events, do keep you on alert all the time but they also blunt you and push you into a near-unconscious stupor with all the twisting, overwhelming elements. So at times, I felt, it was a little bit over the top, knowing the fact that you can't really relate to, or even less, identify with the characters and what they went through.

So, even though I was AWARE of the notion that, this particular time, I NEEDED to „STAY in the BOX“, since we are talking about extremely closed in and secluded mental world where the storyline takes place and the characters go thorugh their ordeals. It's like being made to choose lesser of two evils.

You can't really „like/love“ the characters, there's no „real/true“ romance, especially if you are looking for heartwarming and sweet – in that case, WALK AWAY, right now!
YOU are NOT SUPPOSED to love them in that way.

BUT putting that aside, the characters are most certainly unique even if they are not lovable in the oldfashioned sentiment, BUT they are vividly portrayed, outrageously mastered out and presented as „features of the YIN side“, cause that's what they truly are – a DARK, DEVIOUS, ATROCIOUSY VILE yet PASSIONATE and DELUSIONAL „vicitims“ of their own SICKENINGLY DISTORTED, MALFORMED vision and closed of HELL of EXISTENCE.

I totally admire and bow to the writing style of Alaska Angelini , she truly is a magnificent talent in presenting the „atmosphere“ of the „dark and unknown“ and of all the „hidden“ and unspoken places in the „inner dark“ were we would NOT dare to go, willingly, if ever asked to. BUT like with everything else in life, it is a conscious choice one makes to do so or not.

It actually „hit“ me right at the end that the true WINNER here is the READER, vicariously living through the heroine's dreadful and horrifying, degrading path towards her deliverance.

Those who love this kind of DARK with GORE/HORROR in various displays of vile, devious MIND GAMES, should not miss out on WHITE OUT.

Damn, Alaska...what have you done to me... lol

Dear Author, please please get an editor (or a Beta team). There are missing words, misspellings, and other errors. These detracted from this fab story, such a shame.

Again, a dark dark story. Suspenseful, with dash of crazy. I honestly haven't had this much fun reading a series since I read The Risk

Warning: minor spoilers. Major spoilers if you haven't read book one.
I decided to sleep on it before I reviewed this book so I could allow myself to calm down and not feel as intensely but it's the next morning and I feel the exact same.
I'm annoyed and disappointed with White Out; especially with the ending. So much so that I feel a rant coming on.
Where 24690 started a bit weak and ended good, White Out started good and ended weak.
The book does evoke strong feelings in me and that in itself is one sign of a good book, however the strongest feelings I have are annoyance, frustration and disappointment so I'm a bit on the fence as to if that cancels out it being a good book.
I was glad that Bram was still alive. I had that pegged from the moment he was airlifted out (in book one) though so I was really happy to see I was correct. When he returned to Whitlock, I thought the story could go in a lot of different ways. Many of these ways could have been awesome but I was disappointed at several of the turns that were taken.
White Out was just a bit too over the top and got ridiculous. Even in a cluster fuck of a world and situation, this was too much. I get that everyone had ulterior motives and we weren't to know who to trust or who sided with who, but it just didn't work for it to continue that way for all of the book because it was more just a war and the carnage left behind.
I think Everleigh should have taken a bullet to the head and we should just be done with her. She was useless and no longer a character who deserved redemption or someone I could root for. She deviated too far from herself and too far from any type of person capable of empathy, honesty or decency. I understand her circumstances and that West broke her so badly that that is who/what she became but it was just too much and too far. By the end of the book, they could have just bombed Whitlock and done away with the lot of them and not only would it have seemed par for course, I wouldn't have cared less. I like to have at least one character that I can root for or want to succeed or survive. White Out took it too far and I don't mean by the depraved, cruel or sadistic acts that were carried out. Those are to be expected in a dark read and I didn't mind those at all. It was just too much to even pass off as believable, even in a work of fiction where I allow and give creative liberties freely and mostly without exception as I go down the rabbit hole of a twisted book.
One thing that really bugged me was what happened during all of the red lights. I'm sorry but just how many freaking people did they have jailed in the white room that it was possible for so many people to be maimed and killed during each red light? That is taking human trafficking to a whole new level. That's a shit ton of milk cartons and missing people signs floating around the US. There is no way they could get away with all that. And then when all these rich, powerful and influential people disappear pretty much at the same time because the masters got killed...it's just too much.
Ultimately what really didn't work for me was the ending. I didn't like how it transpired and the direction it took but I especially didn't like the abrupt end and lack of epilogue to give us some indication of how things worked out. It's like this whole huge tangled mess was built up throughout the story for it to just fizzle out. I'm bummed. And for us to not have an ending for Bram and his story is pretty much bullshit. What happens for him? Where does his life go? His Main Master status? Whitlock?
Overall, I give White Out 2.5 stars. There were some really good parts but all in all, everything together was too over the top and it didn't work for me and I feel let down because there was so much potential and I must have allowed my expectations to get too high. I would still recommend reading this book because it is the second half to the 24690 story and it's necessary to tie everything up. I will say I really enjoyed the punishment Bram had for the cannibal Master guy whose name I can't remember. Not sure what that says about me, but I thought it was perfect, well deserved and fitting. I was like, "haha, take that asshole." That definitely earned a half star. Way to go, Bram.

5 HUGE DARK stars

I thought 24690 was DARK, but this one was even more. I don't even know where to start and what to share.

I'm glad I decided to read this second book in the series because it was much better than the first. Well I didn't have much choice than to read more because I was dying to find out how Everleigh's story will end.

I wasn't happy with the beginning and the first 15% didn't surprise me much. After the ending in book #1, I knew Everleigh will be punished terribly. The red lights massacres got me on the edge of my seat, but soon I wanted more. And when I got it, I just couldn't put this book down! I was SO glued to the pages! So much action, so many twists and turns, so many horrors, so many mind games, so many secrets and plots, sooo much BLOOD!

While reading the first book I felt the need to take some breaks. Here it was the opposite. I didn't want to put it down not even for water. I can't remember when it was the last time I was so invested into a story. I had SO many scenarios and when I thought I knew what was going to happen next, it just continued to surprise me.

Reading book #1 prepared me enough for what happened here. I wasn't that shocked by the pitch black scenes. But it seems I wasn't such a good learner because I still got attached to some characters only to hurt when they were murdered. And we get so many murders here.

It's pretty hard to try to explain how I feel about this book because I really don't want to slip any spoilers. I am glad I haven't read any reviews before because I saw many readers gave away the ending. Oh, the ending...

Well this is a story that exceeds dark genre. We get rape, torturing and even skinning. Everleigh became a smart and heartless woman and her transformation was hard to witness. I know all main characters are anti-heroes, but I still wanted a better ending for their story. I was extremely sad when I've read THE END and felt the need to double check if the author planned a third book in the series. Thank God I was curious enough about her other dark books written under this pen name, and I discovered that we do get to meet her again in the series Welcome to Whitlock. I don't know why the author didn't linked them to this series. What if I didn't find out there's a continuation of Everleigh's story? I was pretty devastated by the end. Good to know we get more. But what about a third book? *wishful thinking*

5 Monstrous Stars!

"You couldn’t tame monsters. Not even with love."

Read the dang warning, my friends!

24690 was/is a top FAVORITE of mine this year. I was apprehensive about reading this one. Well, for one, how do you top that? Second, I had no idea how this story would go. Feeling scared to be honest. I became invested in the characters so very much. How was I to cope.

AA DARK blew me the fuck away, again. This duo is going on my top favorite shelves. Let me tell you why. The story is as original as they come. This was a very dark book, but not the only reason why I loved it so. Sometimes, one doesn't need redemption, the author showcased the monsters in truth. The beasts were weeping in their cages, reveling in bloody, debauchery.

"We are all gluttonous bastards who lurk in this palace of perversions."

I knew when I started this series, it wasn't romance. But, if you crave twisted, obsessive love, your dark heart will rejoice. Not a thing is morally right in this book, yet I wanted the sickness to absorb into me, make me feel better about what I was enjoying.

"Even death held allure when temptation mingled with attraction."

If you think book one was haunting, you haven't seen a thing. This one will shred your heart with moments of despair and the longing of freedom. The need to be free... At what cost? The secrets slowly unfold like slashes on your back. Do you like pain with pleasure? Because this book gives just as much as it takes. Be prepared.

"I was Everleigh Harper, married to the present Main Master that ruled them. I’d go down in a mass of blood and carnage if it meant they didn’t get the satisfaction of winning. They would see I was no one to mess with."

Wow! This was hands down one of the bloodiest and most cringe worthy books I have ever had the pleasure of reading! Bram is the ULTIMATE anti-hero and Everleigh is so beyond fucked up that I couldn't help but to root for her despite her insanity!

Loved. This. Book. If you like super dark and taboo reads, then head on over to amazon and one-click the first book in the series: 24690!

Well I was hoping for a dark read and I certainly got it with White Out.
Gripping, gruesome, thrilling, bloody and sadistic.
Bram Master Whitlock the first third of the book I was all is he or isn't he alive and then when you finally find out the pace really picks up and I absolutely loved it.
Master West I hated him from the first book and sort of felt for him a bit in this one.
Everleigh she turned out to be one strong feisty young blood thirsty woman/mistress.
So many twists and turns couldn't see which way Everleigh was going to go.
Loved the ending and hope maybe one day their could be something more!!!
If you love a dark read go for it but read 24690 first, if you can stomach that then venture to White Out you won't be disappointed.

This story is the perfection of a true life horror story. A. A. Dark held absolutely nothing back while creating this masterpiece.

Everleigh is the strong heroine of the story. She has to fight for herself and also with herself. Her past torments her and at times has trouble focusing on the realality of life. Torn between being Slave/Mistress she is determined to do what is best for her no matter who she destroys in the process, as long as she gets what she craves the most, her freedom.

The power struggle between Main Masters and High Leaders become a force to be reckoned with, with only the strongest and the wisest to survive the hell that is known as Whitlock. The torture cast upon West is the most sinister of all, with what happens in the White Room and the Red Lights. They way in which A. A. Dark describes the scenes with what is happening to him is pure perfection. I'm sure the research taken to write such descriptive chapters must have been draining.

It is fantastic to,read a story where the strong men fail and a weaker woman flourished. Throughout the journey of White Out we see the birth of a strong and fearsome woman, Everleigh.

This book kept me glued to my kindle. The storyline flowed and the characters were both loved and hated by me, but mostly hated. It was like I was on a swinging pendulum going back and forth with the love and hate for Bram, West and even Everleigh.

Thanks A.A. Dark for writing what a lot of other Authors shy away from. Some of the most taboo subjects out there.xxx

EVERLEIGH IS A BADASS AND DERSERVES TO GET HER REVENGE AND HAVE THESE MEN SUFFER FOR WHAT THEY DID TO HER!

I'm pretty sure she reached her breaking point in this book. But she also pulled herself together and played these nasty horrible men at their own game. I was rooting for her from the very first page and she didn't let me down.

I hate Bram. I hate West. Ugh I hate the men in this book. Men are pigs.

I loved how strong Everleigh was despite everything she went through. And she fucking persevered. she was not a doormate heroine. at. all. She didn't succumb to their demands!

As for the ending.... hmmmm I really hope she finds herself and if at the end of the day it's at Whitlock I freaking hope she gets the respect she deserves!

When love abandoned you, negative emotions easily slipped through the cracks of one's broken soul to make us whole again. They provided reasons to move forward and continue to breathe. Death wasn't an option. Not when you craved to be the one who caused it.

24690 had such an intense ending that I couldn't wait to read what happens next! The suspense and derailed joy ride continued full steam ahead in this installment of Whitlock's story. If anything there was more action and gore in this one!

I may have feared her, but there was beauty there. Dark, Whitlock-type beauty. In truth, we were living our own violent, little fairytale. Two monsters, loving each other the only way they knew how in such an environment.

Everleigh has pretty much banished the title "slave" and fully embraces her new title of "Mistress." She has grown and morphed so intensely it was almost like reading from a completely different character's perspective. She's savvy, cunning, and always one step ahead of the men. A lot of the twists were unpredictable and of course the ending was just as crazy as you'd imagine!

White Out definitely pushed my limits and some scenes were very hard to read- there was A LOT of gore and gloom & doom throughout. However, the book itself was still very enjoyable and well-written. I can't reflect on too much without spoiling some major plot twists ;).

One thing that I really enjoyed about 24690 was the dynamic between Everleigh-Bram- and West. In White Out it wasn't the same- Everleigh has almost become inhuman and bears almost no shred of compassion or humanity left. That was a big turn off for me personally- I did not connect with her anymore and lost a little bit of interest in her viewpoint during parts of the book. However, that is solely my opinion and did not take away from the actual plot. I fully understand this was more horror less romance but come on!! #TeamWest *sniff*

My personal "theme" song for this book --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2uOS...

Also, I want MUST know Eleven's story! Argghhh I wanna know! Spinoff? Please?!? *pouty face*

I enjoyed the last one so much I got fired straight into this one. This was an absolute rollercoaster. The role reversals of every character were endless and their need for the upper hand or freedom powered the book along. It’s like a game of thrones with masters and slaves, and I loved all the plot twists and scheming in this one.

Everleigh isn’t the same everleigh from book one, in no way shape or form. She’s a force to be reckoned with, a cold hearted killer out for herself.
West has all but lost his mind and control of Whitlock.
Bram finally makes his return from the dead (no explanation as to how that was faked..) to take back Whitlock, only to be suffering from depression and devoid of all feeling.
Pretty much every master and high leader are keeping secrets and everytime you think you know who to trust you’re hit with a betrayal.
Then we finish on a high suspense game of cat and mouse involving everleigh and bram.

Apart from no explanation as to how brams funeral was faked? The book is flawlessly executed. Everleigh is probably one of my favourite female leads, I love how she’s taken the upper hand and turned the tables, but every part of me still wants her and bram to get their acts together and make a go of it.

And that is this one summed up. I need more!

I didn't enjoy this as much as the 1st book but, it was ok. Although I was bored halfway through.
I'd say Everleigh had a great character growth despite the circumstances of her life. She even surprised ME at the end lmao

Title: White Out
Author: A.A. Dark
Series: 24690 #2
Genre: splatter horror
Themes: revenge, (psychotic) love triangle
Heat: 1/5
Rating: 4/5

Reviewer's note: this book follows on directly from the climax of 24690. You must read that first.

I was the forgotten. The discarded. The pawn in a game bigger than myself.

Christ, that was a ride and a half. The climax of the 24690 duet, White Out takes more of a delve into the psychological breakdown of Everleigh and West from the horrific ending of the first instalment. If it is even possible, this became more complex, in some cases quite difficult to follow, but absolutely engrossing nonetheless. Whitlock is a nightmare setting, and the entire premise of this duet is nothing but original. If you'd asked me where I thought this would go when I first picked up this sequel, I would have been totally and utterly wrong.

In truth, we were living our own violent, little fairytale. Two monsters, loving each other the only way they knew how in such an environment.

Not only do we deal with the psychological defects and cruelty of the characters, but we also go further into physical depravity through the absolute bloodlust of the same characters. If you're after some erotic content like the previous instalment, you're going to be disappointed; this is unadulterated bloody, brutal chaos (but fortunately it prevents me from worrying about my own mental health when I enjoy them!). We deal with more of the same - skinning, cannibalism, blood and guts, and death. Lots and lots of death.

I have to say that, although I found Everleigh's descent into madness, and her relationships with West, Bram and herself grimly fascinating, I struggled to like any of the characters within these pages in any way, shape or form. They were all vile, with no redeeming features to be found at all. This made it a little difficult to get emotionally invested in the story, and I would perhaps have liked a little more transparency as to their plans and motives; in places, I found myself lost and confused as to who was playing whom, and it felt as if some aspects were plucked out of thin air at the right time to allow the story to continue, when there could have been some more buildup (a particular dinner scene comes to mind).

"There is no hope when you've been cast this far into hell."

I wonder also how many people live in Whitlock, and how many were in the white rooms. The red lights, blood and death seemed constant, as were some gory plot devices, feeling as if some decisions from Everleigh and West were purely for shock value, with very little reason behind them.

Regardless, this is a highly intense, satisfying (and, frankly, terrifying) conclusion - that couldn't have ended a better way.

"You couldn't befriend monsters and expect blood not to become involved at some point. And that's all this place housed. No one was to be trusted. The reality of my new plan was sinking in even more. I couldn't live my life this way and expect to survive"

White Out is number 2 in the 24690 series and what a read it was. This is not a standalone, 24690 is a must read first to understand what's going on at Whitlock. This is not for the faint at heart. This is a gruesome, conniving, and imaginative masterpiece in the making!!

As always Alaska pulls me in from the get go and I had a lot trouble getting back into the real world I was that immersed in the story. Done in multiple POV's I was pulled into so many directions. I had so many feelings all at one time that I couldn't think straight sometimes. Alaska is so creative, just a genius storyteller and has such an imagination that when she writes on paper, it just comes to life so beautifully.

I can't wait to see what she comes up with!

Wow! I'm not even sure they could make these books into a horror flick, but even if they had to tame the grotesque parts it would still be a great movie! Is there a book 3? Does he go after her? Does she find and enjoy her freedom. There are just to many unanswered questions for me to feel like this is over.

Triggers, triggers so many triggers! Still I am gripped and in my twisted mind I can’t help routing that bram and 24690 end up as one twisted power couple! That she comes back and they work it out. Together for ever in their dark kingdom.

4.5 ⭐

So... Who's paying for my therapy? Anyone? No? Okay, fine, I'll make this work somehow 🙃

When I say this book made me question my sanity, I really mean it.
Cause let's just say, feeling bad for a rapist/murderer/torturer/in general ruthless prick, is probably not a normal thing 🙃
I do hate West, I really do. After everything that happened in book 1 he deserves everything that happens to him in this book.
But down the line... When things take a turn... Fuck I felt something I shouldn't have and I hate that I did! But I did and there's no going around that anymore 😪

The way the story evolves in this book is absolutely insane and yet so bloody good.
Bram turns into something I want to see more of but also never want to see again! And yet everything that happens between him and Everleigh in this breaks my heart.
Mistress? Slave? At some point I really wasn't sure if she's either of those things but that damn twist at the end..... (imagine me screaming here like Hades in Hercules before acting all calm)
That ending was ruthless! It was everything I wanted but also what I didn't want 🙃

Unfortunately, another half star lost due to various punctuations/end of sentence symbols missing 😔 I understand some errors but it's a lot of them that are very obvious.

Make sure you have those therapy sessions sorted before jumping into this cause I can guarantee you'll need them 🙃

Even better than first book!

This is pretty PITCH BLACK! Tons of trigger warnings. But ends with a somewhat HFN. The FMC goes through so much. But she is patient and how it ends is just enough to be a HFN, but with a little hook of interest for the next book. Loved this so much! It's really dark though.

White Out (24690) by A. A. Dark is book two in A. A. Dark's pitch black series about Everleigh, slave 24690. If you have not yet read book one, I highly recommend doing so before venturing forward.

White Out is a story of twisted love and revenge set to a horrifically dark and brutal psychological thriller backdrop.

Can love be gruesome? Does freedom take many forms? How many ways are there to take revenge? Is anything absolute? When 24690 finds out, so will you. Thrilling. Gruesome. Gripping. Full of twists. Where will Everleigh's fate take her? Is she being pulled by the current or charting her own course? These are questions you will ask and ask again throughout. More of the human condition is revealed in this book than you might imagine. At our best and at our worst. Depending on your perspective.

While the interactions between West, Bram and Everleigh are what drive the plot of the book, what really stuck with me was the internal war between Slave and Mistress in Everleigh. This and her new reality based on the atrocities thrust upon her by life are the deep churning forces of the book, even more so than the battle waged in the visible world. Which will win?

Remember in the end, blood is life and fear the White Room. But are there things you should fear more?

This is by far the most twisted, vile and messed up story I've ever read in my entire life! It did manage to shock and horrify the hell out of me but I couldn't put the book down, and in all fairness, there's something to be said about a writer who can manage to captivate and engage the reader's attention to the core.

A Brilliantly Horrific Mind-F@ck of a story, nonetheless!!
The story basically comes down to one word: REVENGE

The story it's written intricately and disturbingly well, as well as the characterization and identity of every single one of its characters. The plot and subplots are very disturbing but well built. It kept me guessing the entire time and still managed to surprised me at the very end. One thing is for certain, A. A. Dark (Alaska Angelini) can write the hell out of a book!

White Out is a twisted and horrific tale that takes place in a world so dark and perverse, and yet so compelling, in which the most deplorable and dehumanizing acts are being committed. The story is filled with thrilling suspense, revenge and retaliation. Is darker than dark, twisted, and with graphic content, which includes rape, physical, psychological and mental abuse, mutilation, emotional manipulation, humiliation, and degradation.

With an explosive ending as astonishing as it is haunting. Believe me, think very carefully before you read this book unless, you're into twisted and very disturbing horror movies that include gore and blood. Otherwise, this story is going to mess with your head, big time!

You have been warned!!!

I love you, I swear it
But alas, I must go....

As I sit at my desk shocked, angry and sad, I began to start my mourning process!! Why you ask me, well because I've finished this book, I have to leave this amazing place Withlock where there's no morality, no laws, and definitely no trust (amazing because A.A.Dark imagination is beyond comparison to others, she has her way to captivate her readers)!! She has captivated me greatly I went obsessed, so much I've brought my Ipad at my job, hide it from the boss and everytime I had a chance I went back to Withlock. I was so absorbed that I got angry when people disrupted me. To summarized this book I will use a phrase from someone else----This book is PURE PERFECTION

This is installment 2, we start where 24690 ended with Everleigh skinning West face after being raped by him!! In this story we get to see the characters evolve and some come back from the grave. There's not a lot of erotic scenes, so if you're looking hot steamy sex this is not it!! However, if you're looking for major psychological torture this is it!! With the White room/Red room where prisons are left with object and have to kill each other to this even worst room the Static room (this one is a room of what nightmares are made of)!! Everleigh is my favorite character, she has to endure the worst mental breakdown but will come of it a changed and stronger than ever person!!

With the way the story ended, one thing for sure Miss A.A.Dark will be writting a 3rd book and I cannot wait to see Everleigh again.

Recommend it 10+++stars

Well FML! Who knew Everleigh would be such a blood thirsty savage?

White Out is beautiful and brutal! The style, the writing, scene and character development are incomparable! This story read like a movie! Story completely suck you in like a Hoover vacuum and doesn't release you until you're drained of everything you ever thought was real! White Out is dark. Make no mistake. But it's one of the best stories of 2016!

#teamBram was THE MAN in 24690 and DAGNABBIT if he didn't become KING in White Out. King Bram is invincible. Not of this world. Supernatural. How else can his miraculous recovery and return be explained? Who in their right mind could doubt the outcome of King Bram and his hold on Whitlock???? Will King Bram reclaim Everleigh? That is the question of the century. She is not the timid little slave girl she was before he went "away". The second half of the book offers a plethora of insight and entertainment between the Master and Mistress of Whitlock. Annnnnnnnnnddddd that ending!! Oh. My. Word. I felt as if I were watching every Kevin Costner movie ever made! What a friggin ENDING! HEA? Yeah. Maybe. I dunno. Am I happy? Incredibly so!

Five Stars!

Well ...... another rollercoaster.
You couldn’t tame monsters. Not even with love.

So, we pick up with Everleigh becoming a little unhinged - and we can't really blame her for that. That said, she's only in this situation because she continues to make really stupid choices. Now we're introduced to the white room, red lights, more slaves, more Masters, the cradle, and an endless supply of guards, who keep multiplying like Gremlins. Bram might not be the savior Everleigh had hoped he would be and maybe his love wasn't as genuine as we were led to believe. He may or may not be dead, it's hard to tell because Everleigh is the only one who sees him. West is crazier than we could have predicted, but I think he really does love Everleigh, even if it's in a sick and depraved way. Of course he hurts her, but he apologizes afterwards so shouldn't that be ok??

There's a ton of betrayal, several murders, and a few rapes. I actually think the only sex in this book is rape. Nothing lovey-dovey. The ending was awesome - except it actually made me cry. I honestly can't explain it - it probably means I'm a little unhinged myself.

Again - we end on a cliffy. Which sucks because this honestly should have been cut down to two books only. Like I said previously - there's only so much rape/torture/murder/betrayal you can write before it not only loses its impact but also becomes boring and repetitive.

Side note - I thought book Book 3 "Welcome to Whitlock" was going to be optional, but as I started book 4 "Black Out", it referenced a lot of things from that book, so I had to go back and read it. That book will only get 1-star and it's being added to my "books to burn" list. I literally want to murder that book.

I would recommend you stopping after this book and just knowing that eventually you'll probably get a HEA.
