Her time will come
Such a fantastically hilarious story! This is the perfect addition to the Furry United Coalition (F.U.C.) Academy EveL World. The author really channeled the spirit of FUCN’ A when she created these two characters. There were so many perfect one liners and the steam off of these two tops the charts. I love how we meet a new Jersey devil and how cute is a chinchilla shifter, plus all the revelations throughout the story. And with an ending like this you know there are sure to be more exciting books to come, which I can’t wait to read. I hope we won’t have to wait too long for the next one.

Chinchilla and the Devil is a laugh out loud romp in Eve Langlais' Furry United Coalition (F.U.C.) World. Each book can be read standalone. In this story we have a Canadian chinchilla shifter and an American Jersey Devil sharing suspects and hearts. This story will have your head spinning faster than a whirling dervish. Puns, acronyms and slapstick silliness abound.

Superb Gorri Sensei Gold!
I’ve never heard of this series but to see that Gorri-Sensei has written a book in this universe then sign me up! Let me start off by saying I loved Gorri’s Jersey Devil book. That book was a total hoot! Filled with such steamy scenes and hilarity. So to see that we’re learning about a new Devil well I’m all over it! But Tony! He’s a Devil with a twist! All I will say here🤭🤐. It was very interesting to learn about Tony’s background and I must say it was good to see grandmother meddling in Tony’s affairs 🤣😂 she sure can meddle with the best of them. Those of you that have read the other Devil book you will laugh and chuckle because you already know what I mean! Sofia, this sweet girl is wonderful yet a pox at the same time because she is hexed and cursed with the last name Pelosi... sighs, sorry. I had to mention that. There was no way she was walking away unscathed with that traitorous last name without me saying something. Now that I’ve mentioned her horrendous last name let’s move along lol. Sofia was so sweet. Once again Gorri can create some awesome characters. I really enjoyed Tony and Sofia. Lol his nicknames for her and the way he spoke had me laughing. It was like a bad 80s movie. It was like no wonder he got a bad reputation he was calling her doll face all the time like some old mobster 🤣. He did have cute terms of endearment in Italian for her though and I thought that was very sweet though. They had great chemistry and it seemed the other FUC’n agents did as well 🤣🤪 Lordy the puns I can make here are endless. Everyone seemed to gel well together and I loved that. The book ended with a cliffhanger of sorts for the next main character and I’m super excited!! I want to read it now!! One thing I noticed about this world is that the couples that end up,together are an odd ball assortment. I love that very much! You don’t see these pairings at all and I applaud the authors in these undertakings! Gorri did a marvellous job! 5 twinkling stars from this 🐻. I loved this story! ✨✨✨✨✨

I think the most noticeable greatness of this book is the crazy one-liners and puns that are dropped randomly throughout the pages. You’ll find yourself reading the lines twice, just to make sure they really implied what you think they did. It will start with a tickle in your throat, or a snort if you do those, and suddenly you’ll be laughing your head off. I’m still laughing just thinking about this crazy story!
Conflict Resolution & Situation De-escalation Counselor Sofia Pelosi, a chinchilla shifter, worked on the Furry United Coalition (F.U.C.) campus and was trying to discover who was stealing Maude’s meatless meatballs from the cafeteria. Tony Leeds, a private investigator working for Private Resourceful Investigative Contractors or PRIC, was actually trying to find the people kidnapping children, and helping Sofia gave him the chance to view the private records. When Sofia and Tony are caught looking through computer records, Sofia was asked what she had to say for herself. Need I tell you that she responded, “The devil made me do it!” and Tony, a Jersey Devil, rolled his eyes and growled at her! Well, it was the truth, right? When the FUC agents decided to cuff her, Tony’s possessive, protective nature took over and he half-shifted into a sexy, devilish creature. Sofia needed to shut this down quickly before he fully shifted! But Viktor didn’t take the hint to back off. He again came at her with the cuffs. Tony grew even larger, his tail and wings wrapping protectively around her as horns sprouted from his forehead.

CHINCHILLA AND THE DEVIL is the seventh book in the multi-author FUC Academy series. Each is a stand-alone, paranormal, romantic suspense story set in the FUC world created by Eve Langlais. You do not need to have read any of those books to start this series – I haven’t, though I wish now that I had.
The Jersey Devil shifter is such a unique shifter and the cute chinchilla Sofia embodies her shift, both cute and bold. Together it is obvious from the start that they are fated to be together – working and playing.
I loved the non-stop action, the puns, and the one-liners that kept me laughing. I dream of being able to listen in as the authors brainstorm the rude, crude, and socially unacceptable acronyms that they know we readers are going to love.
This is the fifth book I have read in the FUC series and the first I have read from this author. I can’t wait for more from each!

Great edition to Eve Langlais Furry United Coalition World. Sofia works at the Furry United Coalition Newbie Academy as a counselor. As Sofia enters the cafeteria, she hears shouting and the students are ready to riot, someone has stolen the famous vegetarian meatballs. Sofia is disappointed as she wanted a serving herself. This was adorable! C.D. did a great job of fitting this into to the EveL world (ridiculously funny and sexy) while still working in her own world. This was like a great mash up of a supernatural mystery and a comedy skit show. Is anyone a Whose line is it Anyway fan? Every time the meatball bandit came up, I kept seeing Colin in the super hero skit, "There's no more meatless meatballs?!? Where are my super hero friends!" But don't let that make you think it was short on the smexy time, those devils are hot! Now I have to go read Avail again.

I loved this story, these characters were wonderful and has a lot of Sass. This is a well written short story in the FUC series and I enjoyed it. The story grabs you and you find out their goals merge while on this investigation. I love how all these stories tie together and I cannot wait to read more in the Series. This is a must read book and series. You can read as a Stand-alone, but you will love it better as a series

Well Tony who is with her is a Jersey Devil. He is trying to find a clients son and she is trying to find the meatless meatball bandit. Can they solve both cases? Will Sofia lose her job, or can Tony save it for her? Somewhere along the way they realize they are mates. They make an odd combination. Sofia is a chinchilla and Tony is a Jersey Devil. Come on an adventure and see what happens.

**spoiler alert sorry** Sophia worked for FUCN’A in customer complaints department andTony work for PRIC as a detective. He worked at finding missing people and things and Sophia was trying to find who was eating the meatless meatballs. Tony was trying to find the people kidnapping children and experimenting on them as he was. Everyone worked together and solved the one case and Tony’s devil claimed Sophia as their mate. Tony continued working with her company with her.

When it comes to originality, Ms. Gorri rocks. I thought she peaked with the Jersey Devil. Now a chinchilla, that's another first for me. Of course, she nailed it. This was such a fun read. Seriously, I lost it with 'meatless meatball' theft. Sophia and Tony were great together. Action, mystery, humor and fate. If you love shifters, this is for you. This is sure to be a hit. I look forward to more books set in this world. This review is my honest opinion.

This is the story of Sophia and Tony. They are both trying to solve their own mysteries. Tony is searching for culprit kidnapping kids and performing experiments on them. While Sophia is tracking down the person responsible for eating all the meatless meatballs. Can these two solve their cases? I enjoyed this fun, entertaining romance. The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world she created.

Loved this book, it’s a shifter book with a sense of humour on steroids. Tony a New Jersey devil ( yes a real devil) Works for PRIC (yes it’s a real name) meets Sofia (a. Chinchilla shifters) who works for FUCN’A (yes it’s a real Name). And they are investigating the missing meatless meatballs. Come on that only makes you want to read it .

Such a funny, wild, twisted, cool, cool book!!! I absolutely loved it!! Tony as a Jersey devil and Sophia a chinchilla would not be the most likely of pairings but wow are they combustible when they have to work together to solve this wacky mystery! The imagination of Ms. Gorri is hi-lited in this latest off-the-wall madcap adventure, mystery, suspense-filled, hilarious case! A true gem!!

A really fun book to read. I enjoyed the characters and the bits of Italian words spoken by Tony, who is a Jersey Devil shifter. Tony works for PRIC and has come to Canada to investigate a missing person case when he meets Sofia who is a chinchilla shifter and works for FUC'NA. Together they are trying to solve a missing person case and who took the missing meatless meatballs from the FUC'NA's cafeteria. Loved it.

Great Addition!!
Loving Eve Langlais’ world of FUC, I immediately downloaded this series. With a return of familiar characters the FUCN’A world is a hoot, and this book was no exception. Now enters PRIC and the laughs as well as acronymic puns just keep on rolling! Loving Eve Langlais’ world of FUC, I immediately downloaded this series. With a return of familiar characters the FUCN’A world is a hoot, and this book was no exception. Now enters PRIC and the laughs as well as acronymic puns just keep on rolling! Madcap adventure!
This book is go go go from the get-go, both in terms of the romance and the action! What seems like such a mish-mash, a chinchilla and a jersey devil, becomes a match that’s wonderfully complementary. All the rude acronyms are a real hoot, as is the interplay between the characters. A great addition to the FUC universe.

I have read books by this author before, but this book had me in snitches. Funny wording and the characters were amazing. Lots of thrills especially the meatless meatballs. Yeah meatballs. Who would have thought it. Comedy extravaganza. I thoroughly enjoyed this read.

A really good book and, although I love the series, you don;t need to have read the others to follow the story line. Another great story line with well written characters that you fall for. Faced paced with an exciting story line which is a page turner. Don;t miss this book, youll regret it.

This was such a fun read finally telling Sofia’s story. Her love interest is Demon PI Tony who is looking for a missing shifter and tracks it to the school’s grounds. Sofia has a meatball thief to find as they work together will they get what they each wants? I had a great time finding out.

Very unique shifter types, but a very sexy alpha hero, and sassy, confident heroine. The meatless meatball subplot moved things along, while a deeper mystery was investigated. Loved all the action at the Academy, and seeing what happened between these two fun characters!

Sofia and her people are are absolutely FUC’ed. Throw her mate who is going crazy trying to rope his little darling;well you get the picture. Never mind the meatball thief and all the other shenanigans yeah we’ll it’s a hoot.

Hilariously funny even on the second go around. If the acronyms don't get ya, the characters will. The author's writing style fit right in with this new series and I hope for more stories set in this world in the future.
