★ Team ALPHA is an mpreg wolf shifter series full of protective alphas, side splitting moments of laughter, dangerous missions, a pregnancy, a baby (or more than one!) and endless feels. ★
Stolen Jonah has finally found his long lost brother Cain, and in the broken omega, Ezra's found his mate. Old betrayals wind through the team's mission, and you know they're going to take their vengeance!
Hidden After the explosive ending of Stolen, where Jonah found his mate in the most unlikely place, all Jonah wants is to protect Matthew. As an FBI agent, Matthew has different ideas, and he won't rest unless the team lets him help take the bad guys down once and for all.
Decked A couple years have passed, and our favorite team is snowed in for the holidays! We finally get to hear Papa P and Bossman's story, and meet a new couple who fall under the magic of the mistletoe.
But that's not all! Included with the last three stories of this series are twoBRAND NEW epilogues, for more of your favorite team's crazy antics!
You can expect to find naughty, knotty scenes of steamy passion, along with a lot of potty-mouth language and occasional violence. Beware of manties, rusty knives, mouthy omegas, and rainbow explosions. HEA definitely included, intended for 18+ readers only. Seriously, would you expect anything less from Susi Hawke and Crista Crown?
I'm a total fan of M/PREG Paranormal Romances, first and foremost as a reader. I'm excited to share my own omegaverse(s) with you. What's not to love about adorable Omegas and the Alpha men who love them? If I'm not writing about men sporting baby bumps, I'm definitely reading about them!
I'm a native of Las Vegas, NV, so I'm pre-wired to love everything weird ~ although I don't find any kind of love to be weird. I'm a cis woman who's been happily married to the same lovable lug for 18 years. We have a 16yr old son, well, at least I think we do? Either that, or we have a ghost that eats all our food and uses up all wifi playing xbox while screaming into a headset.
As a new author, it's been amazing to find the amount of support that I've been given from readers and my fellow authors. Feel free to message me, I love to chat with fellow readers. Am I a reader? Heck yeah! In fact, I'm never certain that I can completely trust an author who isn't a fellow bibliophile.
I will try to update here when I'm doing promotional parties & chats. I usually do those on Facebook. If you haven't already signed up for my newsletter, you should totally do it! I only send out NL's to announce new releases or important announcements. I also like to note in my NL what I'm currently reading along with a cover shot and the link for anyone who is interested.
Okay, so I hadn't listened to this story before now, mostly because Ezra and his twin Zeke were my least favorite of all the guys. However, Susi and Crista did a great job at redeeming both of them in my eyes and I ended up really liking how protective and sweet Ezra was to Cain, while still respecting Cain's independence, even if he still messed up every once in a while. And Cain, despite having worked with a cartel as a hitman, proved to be a great addition to the team and I just adored how well he adapted to the group.
I loved that the guys were willing to work with STAHP for the greater good and seeing Antonio for the first time and of course, that we got back to seeing more action in this installment. It's great seeing the team work together.
I think this was pretty much my favorite story in both bundles. It was fantastic!
6 ~ Hidden
Jonah and Matthew
4 Stars!
Hidden is book 6 in Team A.L.P.H.A. series and I guess it could be read/listened to as sort of a standalone if you're at least familiar with the series concept. I have listened to most of the Alphabits books, which is a spin-off series from this one, so I had an inkling of what I was getting into, still, I think it might have been a lot easier to get into the story if I'd known at least Jonah from before.
I found Jonah and Matthew to be very likable. While the whole 'mates' concept means that they'll have an instant attraction and connection between them, I loved that they both were willing to make things work by talking. They were complete opposites so that made it difficult to find common ground on certain issues, but they made the effort and I appreciated that.
While I've enjoyed other books narrated by Colin Darcy, this one fell a bit off its mark for me. I didn't care for the voice he used for Jonah and some of the other Alphas, like Ezra. They kind of grated on my nerves and diminished my overall enjoyment of the audiobook. Plus, I felt like the narration wasn't as smooth as all the others I've heard by him, but that might just be me, so pick it up and try it yourself.
7 ~ Decked
4 Stars
Decked is book 7 in the Team A.L.P.H.A series and you need to have read at least some of the previous books or have an idea of what the series is about. I've read a couple of these books and all of the Alphabits series, so I had an idea of what I was getting into.
Ever since I listened to Rescued (Alphabits book 1), I'd been intrigued over how Sam and Dean got together and learning more about Papa P and Ray's story. It was hot and fun and just perfect for the holiday season.
Colin Darcy is a great narrator, but this book wasn't up to speed for me, so to speak. It was still enjoyable, but some of the POVs were in a slower than usual voice and it made the story drag in certain places, listening to it at a 1.5x speed made it a lot better, though.
~ Epilogues
Again, the epilogues were my favorite part of the bundle, other than book 5. John Solo did a fabulous job bringing these guys to life, especially since Colin Darcy had narrated the previous books. While not all the books or characters worked for me, I can't say that the books weren't entertaining, so I have no trouble recommending them.
These guys are all great. I love reading their stories. The additional epilogues are really nice too, since we get a nice glimpse into the guys' lives.
The last three novels of the Team Alpha series are narrated by Colin Darcy. He narrated the last three books for the first Team Alpha collection, so I was familiar with his reading style. As I mentioned in my review for collection one, there were some awkward pauses in the narration, mostly when changing character narration if I’m not mistaken. It wasn’t really a problem for me though because I knew what to expect. I still loved how he brought the Team ALPHA characters to life and I enjoyed my listen. John Solo also made a special appearance at the end of the audiobook to read the last two epilogues. I love John and his reading style. I always have, always will. He did a fantastic job reading the epilogues. I’m so happy Crista and Susi had him make the special appearance for both collections of this series.
There is one thing I want to say so I don’t have to explain it over and over again while reviewing each book. Team ALPHA is a group of Alphas who are dedicated to helping shifters in need. The group was put together by Ray and Justin ‘Papa P.’ Perkins. They wanted to create a team to help all shifters, but especially Omegas in peril after Papa P. was rescued from a group of sex traffickers before Noah was born. Each novel of this collection follows one Alpha from team ALPHA and their Omega fated mate as they find each other and start their lives together.
Now, onto my thoughts for the last books of the series.
STOLEN The first book in collection two is about Jonah’s omega brother Cain McKiernan and his fated mate, Team Alpha medic Ezra Dempsey. Their story starts a little differently than any of the others. Cain is originally thought to be a bad guy, suffering at the hands of Ezra’s brother Zeke in an interrogation. Ezra is elsewhere at the time but eventually arrives, finding his mate being tortured by Zeke which causes a rift between the brothers. They discover they are fated mates before flying back to Team Alpha’s headquarters where he’s questioned more nicely. They believe he’s not the bad guy they had originally thought. Instead, he might be able to help them bring down the sex and human trafficking ring.
I love Cain and Ezra’s book. Cain is an intelligent person who just wants to find his brother Jonah. He used every resource he has in the cartel for any leads that might help him out. I love that he has a backbone when it came to dealing with the alphas and he doesn’t hold back when he feels he needed to say something. Ezra is another brilliant Alpha character. Throughout the books, we see him as the joking player of the group. He is the one hooking up and having fun whenever he can. Deep down though, he’s a romantic and I found that sweet. He is the biggest, cuddly love bug toward Cain which leads to them being a loving, fantastic couple.
I love their story so, so much. There is so much going on with Cain and Jonah’s past, how they found Cain, the anger and head-butting Ezra goes through with Zeke and Jonah, the insane pregnancy poor Cain has to go through, and how they come across Jonah’s mate at the very end. It’s just a great listen.
HIDDEN This book is the story about how the last single Alpha of Team Alpha, Jonah McKiernan, finds his happy ever after with FBI Omega Matthew Hutchins. Jonah actually finds Matthew at the end of Stolen when they open a shipping container full of omegas who are meant to be trafficked. Matthew was undercover in the cartel until someone blew his cover, then he became just another omega to bring in money. Germaphobe Jonah rescues Matthew, wading through the filth of the container, and carries him to safety. Once Matthew is recovered from the abuse he suffered, he helps Team Alpha take down the US side of the cartel, all while navigating his new matting with Jonah.
To be honest, this book is probably my least favorite out of all the books. I’m not sure why it wasn’t as awesome as the others, but it just wasn’t as good to me. Don’t get me wrong. I still really enjoyed Hidden. The budding relationship with the characters was so sweet. Matt goes through so much as a person and Jonah, despite being worried about ‘the man’ finding him, is very supportive and loving toward his mate. Also, can I just say that Flower is the cutest cat ever! Toss in the rest of Team Alpha, the Omega mates, Ray, and Papa P., and you end up with a good story.
DECKED So, this is the very last book of the entire series. It’s a holiday read that covers many of the character’s points of view which makes it a fun read. I especially like that we meet Sam and Dean. They are the two main characters for the first Alphabits book which follows this series. Dean is a counselor at the Omega counseling center Justin started for recovered Omegas. Sam works for Ray as the leader of team Beta. Justin invites Dean to their home for Christmas because he has no family. Sam, on the other hand, accidentally stumbles into the festivities when he doesn’t realize it’s Christmas.
Even though they are snowed in at the Perkins’ home, everyone has a wonderful get-together for the holiday season. This story is chock full of little moments that warm the heart. There are loads of laughs, especially when it came to Sam and Dean and the references to Supernatural. All of the mate’s children make this book even sweeter. I love the silliness they add. They each have such interesting personalities, especially little Allan. Oh, how he stole my heart. Add in the mating of Sam and Dean and you have a very cute holiday read. Oh! I also love that we finally get to know what Papa P.’s real story is with his past. We get the PG version they tell the kids as well as the grown-up version with all of the details little ears don’t need to know. It’s a heartbreaking tale, but I’m happy they added it in.
This book basically wraps up the Team Alpha series and kicks off the start of the Alphabits series. It was a great ending to a great series. Now I’ll have to start the Alphabits novels.
EPILOGUES 5 & 6 I’m not going to go into too much detail about these epilogues because they’re short reads. I will say that these are lovely additions to the series, giving snippets of the character’s lives after all of the happy ever afters. John Solo did a great job reading these for the listener.
IN CONCLUSION I loved listening to the second half of this series. The narrators did a fantastic job of giving these novels and epilogues more depth than just the writing alone. Susi and Crista did a wonderful job of creating a series that shows a more sinister side to society without going too dark. Some things could be trigging for people like attempted rape, human trafficking, kidnapping, murder, etc. But, there was also a lot of love, acceptance, understanding, friendship, laughs, and sweet moments.
If you’re the sort of person who likes male pregnancy books, shifters, fated mates, and stories that aren’t overly serious without being silly, you should give these a listen. The excellent cast of characters makes for a great series that, I for one, enjoyed reading to the very end. I’d also like to point out that I’ve read/listened to this series more than once. It’s a go-to for me when I need to listen to something I’m familiar with so I can relax without focusing too hard.
The Team A.L.P.H.A. is a seven book series that’s been divided into two book bundles. Bundle one contains books 1-4 and needs to be read before you start Bundle Two, books 5-7. This series is an omegaverse and contains shifters, fated mates, and mpreg. If those aren’t your cup of tea, then this isn’t the series for you.
Like the first four books in the series, these books feature hot alpha wolf shifters who work as government sanctioned mercenaries bringing down cartels, eliminating corrupt officials, and saving omegas in bad situations. There is a lot of action and a lot of violence, but it’s tempered by the sweet and fluffy romances between the fated mates and strong bonds between all the team members. Like the first bundle of books, the action scenes in these books are pretty extreme and entertaining. There’s nothing realistic about the military-esque operations that Team A.L.P.H.A. runs, but that’s okay. The whole point of these books is enjoyment, and oh wow, do these books entertain!
Although there’s an overarching plot that that connects each book together, as well as overlapping characters, each book spends a significant amount of time developing the unique relationships between each couple as well as the relationships the characters have with their team mates. Plus, there are so many cute kid moments that it made my heart melt. Humor is a big element in these books, and the joke and banter between all the characters never stops. The series ends with Decked which gives us the background story for Ray and Justin Perkins, the founders of Team A.L.P.H.A. while also prepping us for the next spinoff series, Alphabits. The extra epilogues that were included at the end were hilarious! All I’m going to say is poor Jonah. What a mess!
Colin Darcy narrated this last Team A.L.P.H.A. bundle and his performance is consistent from his performance in Bundle One. Although Peter B. Brooke did not do a dual narration with this bundle like he did in the first bundle, I hardly noticed his absence. Colin was able to narrate this bundle smoothly and managed a myriad of different character voices, especially in the last book Decked. The production of this audiobook was well done and enjoyable.
More than just romance, more than just steam, more than just adventure/action. These are characters you like, relationships that are not all sugar and spice, and humor. Oh, the humor! This is a new genre for me, one I don't really think I knew existed. I wasn't sure how I felt about MPreg stories. But these authors don't make a big thing about MPteg being unusual, they treated like a normal part of this universe. Give these books a try! I'd recommend starting with the first book in this series, because the characters will make a whole lot more sense.

A.L.P.H.A. Collection #2 MMyThoughts and Review:
Book#5- Ezra (Alpha) and Cain (Omega) The Rescuer and the Trafficker
Talk about sleeping with the enemy... What is an Alpha to do when he scents the prisoner his team has taken is his mate? How will he ever get his mate to accept him when his torturer was his twin. Thank Fate, for forgiveness and eventually, a little Faith, Hope, and Destiny. 4.00
4.5 ⭐s Concluding Books of a Great Team Series The last three books in the Team Alpha series were really attention getters right from the get-go. Susie and Crista were excellent at creating compelling story lines. The surprises like the explosions lit up the pages with discoveries, distractions, and diapers.
It was so nice being able to read the Epilogues for for each couples' books. It's really wonderful knowing this is not the end with several Spin-offs sitting on my Kindle calling to me. To read my reviews for each book please check the Latest Reviews of the Individual titles.
Susi Hawke is amazing at writing a very sweet, low angst story with pretty deep characters. The stories in this bundle continued seamlessly from the first, in very much the same vein. The same narrator voiced the books, which I found to be a pretty decent narrator overall.
It wasn't too dark, it wasn't too deep, and the stories were just the perfect length of time. I would absolutely recommend this entire series to someone who loves sweet, satisfying reads or listens.
This bundle is the second box set covering the continuing stories of the Alpha team as they fight for enslaved omega and bringing justice to the bad guys. Each team member finds their mate and lots of babies are born. These well written books are full of danger, adventure, and lots of steamy loving. Get the whole series in the two box sets and settle in to great entertainment.
I actually read these books, because I didn't recognize the titles at first. Plus somehow the first time I didn't read them in order on top of missing the 3rd and fifth books. Now some things I didn't get before make sense now. Thank you again for writing them.
The last 3 books in the Team ALPHA series by Susi Hawke and Crista Crown are contained in this humorous and action packed bundle. We get even more danger, suspense, heat, sweet moments, and "family" ! And even more hilarious scenes! The whole series have these amazing characters, tgat are some of my favorites to read about... and their stories are fun and entertaining.
So Zeke and Pax are still my favorites, but Ezra and Cain's epilogue was EPIC! I cried laughing at Jonah trying to handle his brothers triplets, bless his heart <3
Dean and Sam are really sweet and I look forward to starting the Alphabits series.
But Papa P and Ray's backstory was really good. I enjoyed getting a peek into their beginnings.
This was the rest of the ALPHA team meet their mates and they all seem to meet in all the unusual places and situations. This book had plenty of drama, action, and steamy mating. The last book even set up for the next set of books in Alphabits, which I can't wait to read.
Witty and sad at the same time a book about love that nos no bounds, alpha and omegas finding there happy ever after, Each story’s keeps you in the loop with all the characters And ends on a happy note , story line is about abduction of omegas and finding there mates
I loved this bundle: it contains the first four books in the A.L.P.H.A. series. All the books are a mix of funny, sweet and steamy, with a lot of action thrown in for good measure. Strong Alphas meeting their fated mates in unexpected, fierce Omegas.
I'm actually going to review this series instead of just giving stars
The epilogues at the end of this series were laugh out loud funny. So funny that I kind of feel cheated as adding that sort of humor would have made this set 5 stars.
No matter the subject matter, humor is always welcome.
Oh my goodness. These were sweeter stories than the first box set with a couple of really good epilogues. The last 2 epilogues of this box set had my laughing so hard I was crying.
I just binge read the entire series. I totally enjoyed it. The stories had Lots of action, adventure, love, tears, and laughter. I really loved all the alphas but it was the omegas that stole the show. Now I'm off to read the spin-off alphabits.
Really enjoyed this series. Still felt they could have been longer but totally worth reading. Always love Ms. Hawke's stories. Looking forward to reading about Team Beta next.
How do you put your heart on a screen for others to read, well I can't. All I can say is these books gave me tons of feelings and took pieces of my heart. I adore these characters.
A brilliant series love them all, team Alpha, I couldn't put this book down, it deserves 5* and more. Looking forward to reading more from these authors
I have fallen in love with these strong Alphas and fierce Omegas! Each traumatic event giving them hearts of gold! I wish there was more to read! Well done!
As always these stories are excellent, don’t know how many times I’ve read and re read them. From start to finish including the Alphabits they’re excellent
