I'll start by saying I read the previous book (which I enjoyed) and I was a little curious about this because of the forbidden aspect. Safe to say it didn't go the way I thought it would. There is almost no forbidden aspect. I would have thought the hero would approach Willa as revenge, but it was all just a coincidence and he didn't even care when he found out whose daughter she was. Totally missed the mark.
The hero was supposed to be this older 'daddy' figure but he was a wimpy beta coward. There wasn't anything hot about him.
The heroine was an immature teenager with a drug issue and I don't know what he saw in her (except her youth and body 😒)
I'm not really in the mood to go in depth (mostly because it's not even worth it) but I will just write the positives and negatives.
SPOILERS AHEAD
Positives:
-zZzZzZz (yeah, none)
Negatives
-no plot, rushed and lazy writing
-insta lust and no chemistry.
-Hero screwing a random girl with no condom in the beginning and asking her to call him daddy
-Hero fake engaged to a bitch but he still fucks around and the heroine knows this
-Heroine comes on to the hero and asks him to take her virginity because she was obsessed with him from 2 years before when he had rejected her because she was underage
-Heroine was also selling herself on the side and on one occasion when she goes to meet a sugar daddy she comes across her stepdad who molested her.
-Heroine has some random drug problem
-Hero's fake fiance gets herself pregnant with his frozen sperm so hero dumps heroine to take care of baby
-Heroine goes to New York and becomes a drug addict and gets raped in the last ~10% of the book by some people her friend's boyfriend's owed money
-Hero doesn't even come after her because of the rape (so it was 100% unnecessary)
-Somehow the hero finds her in a hotel room with the molesting stepfather?
Conclusion: TRAINWRECK
It felt like the author didn't know what to write so she just strung some scenes together. the smut wasn't even that hot.
Just a note: Adding some random shocking scenes doesn't make a book dark. It makes it trash.

Tyrant Daddy is Book three in The Tyrant series. Willa and Raphael’s story. Dark Romance with an age gap.
I have been stalking the author to when the book was going to be released. Willa is Nox and Dove’s adopted daughter from Tyrant stalker. As much as I did enjoy this book, I didn't love it as much as Tyrant stalker and had some conflicted feelings. The book is more of 3.75 stars than four.
Read the trigger warnings. Go in with an open mind. By far not my darkest read, but you will question some scenes and why they went that way. Trust the process, this book is not for everyone, and that is okay.
Overall, I liked Dove and Willa’s story and their character development. Was it instant love or lust when they first met? I think it was a little of both. The chemistry between them is hot. Did it feed by daddy kink? Yes, yes, it did. I can’t take that fact away. The author can write some steamy scenes.
My concern is there are some inconsistencies and holes in the plot. There are a few parts that could have a little more detail. I know this may seem like a lower rating, But the storyline is still good.
Some of the parts of the book are raw and emotional, and my heart bleeds for Willa. How can a girl be so smart to hang out with some questing people? The ending is a perfect opening for the next book.

Wow! This was a wonderful read! I’m not usually fond of the whole “Daddy theme” when it comes to lovers; but I must say that I really enjoyed this one! In fact, the second half of this book I couldn’t put down and I read it in one sitting!
This is the third book in the series and it can be read as a stand alone. In my opinion though, I think it’s better to read the first two books because the characters are all connected and it helps to really feel all of emotions from everyone!
These books are dark and definitely not for everyone! Each main couple bring forbidden taboos into the relationship! It’s best to be prepared to think outside of the box when reading this series!!!
I hear there is going to be another book, and honestly… I am eager for it! I’m super happy that I gave this author a try because I love her work so far!!

Tyrant Daddy was deliciously tantalizing, sinfully intriguing, and a pleasurable story.
Willa and Raphael were the most unlikely pairing, both from opposite worlds and different age groups. Their relationship was full of an incredible amount of ups and downs and so much drama from outside forces.
I really enjoyed this story!

Raphael and Willa’s story had me intrigued especially knowing who Raphael was. I wasn’t sure how this was going to go but will say that Isabella Starling did a great job!
Willa had her eye on Raphael from the first moment, yet she wasn’t aware the past connection he has to her family. Despite making it clear that she was interested he made it clear that he was not…. though I wanted to call him out on it! As Raphael battles with himself to do what is right when it comes to Willa, I kept hoping he made the right decision and claim her. You’ll need to click to read for yourself.
This was a fast read for me and a naughty one as well. Yes, this is a taboo story of forbidden love with an age gap that might or might not sit well with all so go with an open mind. Kara~ 4 Stars

This is a intense forbidden age gap romance that I’ve been dying to read! I’m such a huge fan of this author’s stories and she didn’t disappoint with this one . It’s full of twists and turns delicious steamy scenes and drama galore this is another must read from this author!

Tyrant Daddy is the 3rd book in the Tyrant Dynasty by Isabella Starling. It is a standalone, but heavily connected to the previous story. Tyrant Daddy is the story of Elise an 18 year old virgin who pursues Raphael who is more than double her age. It is a taboo romance with triggers I’ll have listed at the bottom of my review. First let me say, I do not have an issue with daddy tropes, I just had a bit of a hard time with this one.
Tyrant Daddy is a pretty twisted tale about how Elise pursues Raphael into being her “daddy”. She met him 2 years earlier at 16 and when he rejected her, she vowed that some day she was going to get him. I have to say, this was not my favorite story. Unbeknownst to the both of them, Elise's adoptive mother is the woman that Raphael pursued in the last book. The relationship between the two of them seemed improbable, mostly stemming from the nature of Elise’s character, and what we'd expect from Raphael. She’s an extremely cutthroat …. virgin. Additionally, she’s really not even likable. Extremely whiny and it made it difficult for me to feel bad for her at all, even given her past. .

This is the third book in the Tyrant Dynasty series. I had high expectations as I was really looking forward to reading this.. well I wasn’t disappointed as I thoroughly enjoyed this story.
This is an excellent forbidden age gap romance. From start to finish I was gripped. Brilliant twists and turns that had me glued. Some fabulous moments had me mentally high fiving the author.

Raphael and Willas story was steamy and addicting. I really enjoyed Raphael even though at times I had to shake my head and was like woah did that just happen but all in all really enjoyed the book

Willa notices Raphael at his nightclub, on her 16th birthday... and it's inexplicably illogical instant lust between those two. 🙄 Then suddenly, it's 2 years later; Willa's 18th birthday. And guess what?? Raphael still thinks about Willa; he miraculously finds her online (while he knows absolutely nothing about her but her first name!) and sends her a message... and of course, Willa immediately answers! Because Willa still thinks about Raphael, too. And now she wants to sell him her virginity.
WTF 😳 how 'stupid', how unbelievable. I had such high hopes for this book.... only to be disappointed by the total ridiculousness of the events.... beyond wanting to even continue this book!
Maybe after the first few chapters is gets better.... maybe not! I won't find out because I quit! Maybe someday I will try again, but for now I'm done.

I could not wait to have this book in my hands. I devoured Tyrant Twin and Tyrant Stalker and the story you're about to dive in begins there. Maybe it was just a hint that this could be a thing but it's not so much that you need to read that book first. But I highly recommend them all. This is a really great series and Tyrant Daddy can be read as a standalone. This one is very very steamy and it is a story that you will not be able to put down. There is history between Willa's family and Raphael. He could have set his sights on her for revenge but that's not at all what happened and while I think at times he kind of wondered about it he did it because he was so attracted to will but she is really young. It is a unusual paring when you get to know the characters but I always say that opposites seem to attract and it's usually those relationships that last forever. Do Willa and Raphael have what it takes to be forever? You have to read to find out. Get ready for some smoking hot moments that will melt your kindle along with some drama. But that was caused by people you just really wanted to meet so you can smack them. I loved this story and i am so happy I got to read it.

I was so intrigued and excited for this story- I love Isabella Starling's age gap smutty stories, and the architecture of the story had the makings of a deliciously erotic love story, with her characteristic flair of darkness and edge.
And, the beginning started off really well. Raphael is a great balance of creepy, depraved, but captivating and Willa had that naïve/immature but desperate to be seen as an adult vibe. She feels radically out of place, just longing to be loved. And Raphael has his own longing and needs. We have a sensual and twisted chemistry between them- more lust than love, but interesting none the the less.
And then this goes a bit off the rails. The ending felt rushed and gratuitous. I can handle dark and triggering, but when it serves a purpose, this felt shallow- and here it just felt like shock value. Neither character seems to grow, and when we have some pretty life altering darkness at the end, neither really has a chance to deal with it or process it. I've felt like that for others in the series, I think they just need a bit more attention to the ending. There were also some inconsistencies with prior books- which I've noticed in a few books. Great premise, solid writing style, loads of potential just wasn't for me perhaps. (2.5 stars)

Willa grew a lot in this book, she finally began to accept that she belonged. Life has been hard for Wille and she found a family in Dove and Nox. Unfortunately, she still does not feel like she fits in.
Raphael is stuck in the past but with Willa’s arrival in his life, he found peace. She made him want to live!
This book is dark, covered a lot of sensitive topics and I felt as if it was lacking! It was frustrating at times, especially with Willa’s attitude towards her family. Willa and her friendship with Mercy were toxic and painful to read sometimes.
The ending was rushed, and only a tragic event pushed Willa to appreciate her family?? What!

I have read the previous books which did add to my enjoyment of this one but I did think it could be a standalone book if you wish to do so. Raphael was in the last book that told the story of Dove and Nox. Raphael was a love interest for Dove but of course Nox won. Wilia is the adopted daughter of Dove and Nox. Wilia has never felt she had a place even with the love and support she was given by her adopted parents. But when she spots Raphael she does feel something strong for him. But she is now 18 years old and he is very much the older man who is fighting his attraction for her. Enjoyed there hot story.

This is the third book in the Tyrant series and is about Willa & Raphael. This book isn’t as dark as the previous books but still a good read. You're introduced to new characters and meet up with Dove & Nox again as well.
I absolutely love Isabella's stories and can't wait for the next book!!
It is an age-gap story and does have some triggers.

If you love Isabella's writing then this book will be no different! 8t had me on the edge through the whole thing. Full of twisted craziness, lots of steam, and so much more. I loved ever word she wrote of this story and seriously can't wait for more!!! Another amazing book by this beautiful author!!!!

The third book in the Tyrant Dynasty series, Tyrant Daddy is a dark, forbidden, older man/younger woman romance. It's a well written, intriguing and dark read with twists and turns, suspense, inescapable heat, and so much more.

This was a good read and I did enjoy Willa & Raphael’s story. It wasn’t my fav but it did keep me intrigued but also I did figure out what was going to happen. I can’t wait too read Theo’s story.

This book covers the romance between Willa and Raphael. Willa, who is an adopted daughter of Dove and Nox, and Raphael, Dove's former love interest. A forbidden, age-gap romance with daddy kink, Willa is significantly younger than Raphael and always wanted him.
While I liked the steam and the forbidden notes of this book, it did not click with me as the others in the Dynasty have so far. I was not fond of the hero; the heroine was OK but very much too into this, in my view, unworthy hero. There also seemed to be drama that if more logical, frankly easy choices had been made, overcoming issues would have been simple. So the angst felt a little manufactured.
I enjoyed this story for its spice, ease of reading, and pace, but the storyline was not for me.

This world by Isabella just keeps on getting better and better! I have been waiting for Raphael for so long. With his first appearance in Dove's book, I knew the man would be downright explosive! Seeing him paired with Willa just drove me even more crazy with excitement!
Willa has had a sheltered life. There was a time when she was plagued with demons until a man saved her and adopted her. And now there is another turning point in her life. She has met the man of her dreams. Only he is her fathers age and so very tempting. There is no way she can be with him but that doesn't mean she won't try.
Raphael is a man Living an empty existence. He knows that he lost the only good thing he had and now everything seems pointless. That is until he meets an angel. A girl young enough to be his daughter. But just bold enough to satisfy his needs. And now he was going to have her.

If you've read books one and two of Isabella Starling's "Tyrant Dynasty" you know by now each new book is built on a character from the last one. With that in mind, each book can also be read as a standalone, you'll just miss all the previous juicy bits that play into the current story. This time Ms. Starling gives us 'Tyrant Daddy' in book three. If this is your first fore into this world then be aware please, even though this is a Daddy book there are dark and twisted parts that could affect those that have triggers. If deliciously dark and twisted romances are your genre, like they are mine, then this is a story for you. I don't want to give much of this away because what would be the fun in that? I will tell you that the night of Willa's sixteenth birthday, she and her best friend tried to get into the hottest club in town but were turned down which doesn't stop Willa. She's determined to find a way. As she's waiting in line a distinguished older gentleman, Raphael, walks out the side door where a conversation is had between them. She complains she can't get in and he calls her Trouble and sends her home. They've not seen each other nor had any further contact since then. Their story truly begins in earnest on Willa's eighteenth birthday. What surprised me is the depth of Raphael's character. In 'Tyrant Stalker' he had me flopping back and forth in my thinking as I tried to determine if he was a good guy or a bad guy and did I like him. Then I read 'Tyrant Daddy' and came away with a completely different perspective and loved it. There will be some who review this because of the age difference so let me just remind those that don't know or forget. In the BDSM world, there is a saying: "Your kink isn't my kink and that's ok." Judge the book by the storyline, the world-building, and the writing itself. It's a wonderful read!

I’ve only read the second book in this series and i enjoyed it, so i thought i’d try book three.
Unfortunately I did not enjoy it as much. This is not really a genre that I like the whole daddy kink is weird to me but I can look past it if the book is good enough. Unfortunately I did not care too much for this book because of the direction that it went in.
The h we met in bk 2 is now older and dealing with her childhood trauma which wasn’t really explained. I appreciate there being no details because I don’t want to read anything like that but understanding what she may have gone through in someway would’ve been helpful. She seems to resent her adoptive family for reasons unknown considering they love and take care of her and she makes really irrational decisions especially when it comes to her so-called best friend. Rafael who is the Man that she falls for is fine but not as captivating as Nox in bk 2.

Tyrant Daddy is the third book in the Tyrant Dynasty series, and I have to say that every book by Isabella Starling in this series leaves me dying for the next one.
This was an intense ride; there were some intriguing, steamy, emotional, and raw moments in this book. I read this book in one go because Raphael & Willa kept me turning page after page. This age gap/taboo book is not as dark as the other, but the daddy kink (which I love) was everything.
Willa felt an intense attraction towards Raphael from the moment she met him when she was 16 years old, but he barely exchanged some words with her. Now that she is 18, she meets Raphael again, her attraction and obsession still the same, but she wants Raphel to want her and crave her touch as badly as she wants him, but what will happen when she figures out his past with her family?
Raphael doesn't seem to be over Dove until he finds Willa through socials, and they agree to meet again; from the moment he sees her, he can tell she is trouble, but he decided Willa will be his trouble, and so their forbidden affair begins from that night on. What Raphael is not aware of is that Willa is Dove & Nox's adoptive daughter. Dove & Nox are people Raphael intended to keep in the past.
I was wrapped in Willa & Raphael's story. Willa is someone who feels like she doesn't belong anywhere, not even in her adoptive family; Willa is just looking for that sense of belonging she is missing; she wants to be happy, to feel cared for, and secure with someone, and Raphael gives her exactly that, with Raphael by her side and his help she seems to get over all the insecurities that surround her. Raphael is someone who craves certain things that are not for everybody; he wants to take care of; someone that will trust him enough with her body, mind, and soul, and after meeting his trouble (Willa), he finds his perfect match. There are a lot of things that get in the way between Willa & Raphael. The time they spend apart and what happened during that time broke my heart, but there is light at the end of the tunnel, and they will finally get the HEA they both deserve.
There were certain things where I felt I missed a tiny bit more detail, but I loved this book regardless. This was an amazing taboo/age gap read!! You can read this book as a standalone, but reading the other books in the Tyrant Dynasty series gives a better experience. I'm dying to get the next book in the series after that little glimpse we got at the end of this book.

It’s my first read from Isabella and let me tell you, won’t be the last. Tyrant Daddy brings a lot of taboo and kinks, with an age-gap and baby girl/daddy trope, that will melt your panties from the start. It’s sinful, dark and has some delicious scenes for those who likes these tropes, but you need to go open mind, there are questionable, strong/triggering scenes that it might not be for everyone.
Raphael and Willa met on her birthday when she wasn’t even legal yet. She instantly create an obsession for him and vows to one day have him all to herself. Even though he finds her gorgeous, he knows better then fall for that jailbait. Two years later and now at age, they finally confront on their feelings, but now both are obsessed and crazy for each other.
Things change when Raphael finds out that Willa is the adoptive daughter of Dove, the woman who broke his heart so many years ago and Nox, the guy who hates his guts. But he only wants his trouble, his baby girl and he will move the world to be with her. But when faced with the possibility to become a monster like his dad, Raphael has a difficult decision in his hand.
I’ll repeat, this book is not for the faint of hearts, there’s some of so steamy scenes, because let’s be honest Willa and Raphael are so hot! And all the twist and the events that followed are pure angst. I had some issues over the end, it felt so rushed. When they finally rash it out everything that happened in one page, the next page it’s simply over. I had a lot of unanswered questions and I’d actually like to know what happened next, 2 or 3 chapters and an epilogue would be great.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! This is book is part of the Tyrant Dynasty series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Okay really if you have read any of the Tyrant series than you know there isn’t much to review simply because it is one of those books that you must read to really understand so with that being said it is deliciously dark, spankings, a very bratty brat and submission to an alpha. Raphael is the sexy as all get out alpha who met Willa through her adoptive parents when she was much younger and yep, she caused him to do a double take but of course she was way too young for him. Fast forward to today Willa is still much younger than him but she an adult so when she reaches out to him and how can anyone expect him to help himself especially with being a daddy dealing with a little brat bring all his daddy protectiveness out. The chemistry was intense years prior and just as intense now, the magnetic pull can’t/won’t be ignored so will she allow him to be her daddy considering punishments are going to be plenty dealing with her and can they have happiness?
