2.5 stars. I thought this book would have knocked my socks off...instead it was just an okay story to pass time. This was a sinfully hot, sexy and titillating read don't get me wrong, but it wasn't as good to me as other books by this smutaholic duo. Mostly, because the heroine really lacked backbone and I didn't click with both characters like I would have liked to.

These are my feelings on this and you can hate me and bash my review all you want but I won't ever change my thoughts on this matter.
I hated this book, this stupid girl helped during her own kidnapping because she was horny for the hero. What kinda example is this for girls who read your books, Authors? Are you sending a message to every girl out there that it's ok to help their own kidnapping, that it's ok to fall for your abductor? What's next for you? rape like Alexa Riley, K Webster and M Robinson only to name few of many of authors writing these types of books? Will your next book be about date rape? A father raping his daughter? Since readers and authors are romanticizing rapists I guess I wouldn't be surprised... When will it be enough for you? I guess as long as you keep selling these books you don't care, right?

When I saw that Fiona Davenport was releasing a MC book, I didn't sqeal with excitement or do an awkward happy dance- I'm totally lying, I did both! THEN, if that wasn't wonderful enough, it was an older man/ younger woman storyline....catnip!
Mac- badass biker president. Sexy, broody, alpha.....Was he always perfect? No. He was a biker president, they had a tendency to walk a fine line from time to time. He tried to keep away from Bridget but the pull was too strong.
Bridget- she was just how I like my heroines. She wasn't alpha at all, but she stiffened her spine when need be. She was sweet and had fallen for Mac when shefirst saw him, never imagining that one day she would be his.

-zero ow/om drama
-mild pushing away by hero (overnight 😂)
-no violence
- nice and steamy
-hero hadn't been with anyone in a long while, heroine was a virgin
-great secondary characters that I hope they explore. I'm curious how they will work Lena's story - if they go that route

This is a great start to a new Fiona Davenport series. I’m guessing that Logan and Lena’s story is next and I can’t wait to read it.

*This book is called “Mac” on Amazon.ca, where I got it on Kindle Unlimited. I’m not gonna lie, it took me a hot minute to find it on GR to give it a review XD *
I’ve been incredibly busy and stressed out with work this week, and this book is just what the doctor ordered! It’s fast-paced, very short (at only 120 pages), and full of sweet and steamy goodness. Despite the short length, Davenport does a fabulous job of introducing a new cast of characters (if this is a spin off, I couldn’t tell, which to me is a sign of a good writer), and while there’s steamy parts, they don’t dominate the entire plot, like they sometimes do for novellas. All in all, this is a great read, especially if you're looking for a brief escape!

I have to be honest this wasn’t as good as I’d expected. I was intending to move onto Link which is sitting on my kindle but now I’m not so sure.

This was a pretty decent biker book!! Which is safe!! I knowww lol
Mac is the prez of silver saints he has a problem on his hands someone from hounds of hellfire MC attacked one of his men and landed him in the hospital so he wants revenge and justice so he talks to the prez of the other Rival MC to get the guy... nope wont work whats the next best thing? Kidnap the Rival prez daughter, Bridget has been sorta crushing on Mac since she seen him.. but knows he won't go for a girl like her for many reasons and when he shows up to kidnap her there is a spark and Mac is already sprung.. he tries to fight it lol last one day ONE DAY!! Its steamy forbidden and drama is still going down between the clubs..
Wish Bridget would have fought alittle on her kidnapping.. she was very "Yes" :( wanted her to make this guy work for it.. I'm down for reading the next couple.
No cheating, no ow/om drama, slight drama, secondary charas, sexy times, Virgin gal and celibate guy (i think no mentions of his past)

Not the best but it’s what I needed
The main issues I had with this was how fast the h was to leave with her kidnapper, H (she even helped him kidnap her😭🙄). I mean girlll be a bit reluctant would you? Or at least pretend to put up a fight. Another issue was she chose a long time crush over her dad, the guy who raised her up. There’s no gratitude whatsoever for her parents. Shame on her. The book was a quick read and fun overall. Very little drama. The ending however, was so abrupt. I didn’t even know it had ended. 😂

This book (really the whole series) is basically my favorite trope. Big, strong, sexy, older Motorcycle club members treating their young women like princesses? Steamy sex, insta love, obsessed with putting a baby in her belly? Sign me up. these books are also short 120 pages so great to binge in an afternoon, palate cleanse, or scratch that itch :)

"My Father's Rival" is the story of Bridget and Mac.
In this Motorcycle club romance, the hero kidnaps the heroine, his enemy's daughter, only to realize his feelings for her and sex her 69 ways.
After some angst, MC drama and loads of coitus, they find their HEA.
Honestly, this was just average. I skimmed it because the plot did not engage me.

Loved this one. Was so good. Love when they are together the whole time. They are all about each other from the beginning. No one else for either of them which makes this a 10 in my book.

The perfect solution was to take some precious of the President's that would make him hand over everything he was looking for. Only problem was that Mac didn't expect the instant connection to happen when he first seen Bridget. His caveman possessive instincts kicked in and he made the choice to never let her go.

Kidnapping, MC rivalry, and a passion that cannot be reined in.
All these elements combine to create a cute and sexy novella that's got a sweet heroine who knows who she wants and a gruff MC President who can't resist the temptation. I loved these two characters. They fit so perfectly.
The kidnapping scene is hilarious as the characters react so unexpectedly. I enjoyed the whole plot very much from the club rivalry to the age gap, the inner workings of the Silver Saints club, the very detailed steamy scenes and the insta-love that conquers all.
As there are angry bikers everywhere, I thoroughly enjoyed their alpha male plans and actions, which were gladly mixed up with tender displays of affection. Great story to add to this author's collection of lovely romances, and I hope to see this turn into a series!

This is the first book in the Silver Saints MC series by Fiona Davenport and I'm hoping she continues with it. Jared MacKenzie "Mac" is the President of the Silver Saints MC and his Road Captain, Logan is currently in the hospital in a coma. Logan was trying to stop a man who was getting rough with his girlfriend and the man ended up beating Logan with a baseball bat. Mac is pissed and he wants retribution but the only information they have is that the man who attacked Logan was wearing a Hounds of Hellfire MC cut. The two clubs are rivals but Mac goes to Pierce, the President of the Hounds of Hellfire and tells him the story thinking he'd be pissed that one of his men was hitting a woman. Pierce refused to tell Mac anything so Mac decides he'll take something important to Pierce to use as leverage. Bridget is the Princess of the HOH MC, her dad is the President and he's always kept her on a short leash. She's had a crush on Mac since she first laid eyes on him even though he's old enough to be her dad and he's her dad's rival. This was a really good start to what I hope is a series. I'd love to read about Logan and Lena next or Scout and Kat.
