He rejects her not once but twice but still tells her she's his. I felt bad for Sammy because she wanted him. And since he didn't wanna make a move, she moved on.
Now present time!! Sammy isn't coming back and is engaged to her ex. This doesn't sit well with Evan, and Starling gives him the okay to go after her. So he likes every guy. Tracking implants, stalking, Blackmail and some removal of an IUD. It's a lot, lol. And more stuff he does. But Sammy, unlike the other girls, she takes it, lol. Plus, there is a plot twist i think a lot saw coming, haha. Now, the series is over. Had fun with these red flag men.

They are next door neighbors and annoy each other play pranks on eachother. Then things change when they get drunk and stranded in a cabin and well hate turns into love. They question what they did blaming it on the drunk fun but now there sober and he helps her make her first kill. But it gets harder for them to spend time together since everyone is sorta against them. Or more against Bennet thinking he would hurt Cat. But the sneaking around was fun. Since they had her Crush helping them (don’t worry the crush never wanted Cat).
I did get annoyed with Cat few times with her wanting to keep everything hush hush because she was worried about what ppls Kindra would think of there relationship. So be warned on that shall we shall we not. Bennett only didn’t say anything because he wanted Cat to do it. He respect when she wanted to come out even if it hurt his feelings.

And when she wakes well, there is fighting and throwing objects since she is still confused about who this man is, and Ambrose is falling more and more in love. He explains what happens, and he's taking care of her. The chemistry is cute between the 2. It's a short novella, so everything is Insta, which I don't mind.
We do get some side charas from the Biker World and our next Mountains Man book. :)

About 30% of the book Conner was a douche to Whitley he never really said why until near when they were in a good place. So you get a lot of him being nice to everyone but her. When he’s started to be nice even whit was confused why he was being nice. But she flirted back and made cupcakes to annoy him lol. The friends with benefits was good. Plus we love a man who used toys :) Beside that mess between them Conner was trying to make everything perfect since Vlad wasn’t at the Hotel. I kinda miss Vlad and his crankiness.
And we had some randomness about a hacker and Frank.. we know who the hacker is.. but poor Frank doesn’t and i love that someone got over him. Hopefully he isn’t a douche wish we got more stuff dealing with the hotel.
We also had a mini break up between Conner and Whit when he finds out someththing which was totally random in her family. I’m surprised annoyed with how he handled it. But oh well.

Hands down, I really enjoyed this book even if Brinley did annoy me at first with her attitude. Even as a taken person, she had freedom to go home work and all that the banter between them was delicious and the spice was even more!!
Wolfe had his moments from his dirty mouth to help train Bri he wanted to make sure that even if he wasn't around, she would be able to protect herself. And the training i loved! It was brutal, but turning a sweet good girl, Bri, into knowing how to defend herself was such a good character build.

It took until nearly 80ish for her to finally wake up and trust Dmitri with the guys name.
Besides that, Dmitri was everything in this book he had a darkness from his past that made me wanna hug him. He was so forgiving when Dae told him the truth he didn't have to forgive her, but he did. He made sure she was taken care of he helped her learn to fight her punishment, which was technically edgying, lol. And when he also learns he has a family member and who that person is. It's sweet how he cares.
