When Tippy the Knight was first written in the early 13th century, the Gramoan Continent wasn’t ready for erotic stories in this period. The author’s tales managed to survive to the present day but were mostly forgotten. Her characters and world were stolen, sanitized, and made into a series of children’s books about a bumbling, clumsy Knight.
This is the real Tippy that was intended to be read about. He lives in a world of shifters, dragons, magic, war, and dark delights.
When Etinne is locked up in a tower, she expects her husband, Tippy, to come for her. He’ll do it, but maybe not for the reason she thinks. Anyone who threatens his first, true love will face suffering and death.
This is a male dragon shifter/human pairing with a HEA. It contains dark, explicit material and is only intended for mature readers.
A knight-saving-damsel-in-distress short story with a gay BDSM twist (or two). Entertaining, but nothing special. Part 2, about the author of the book, is unnecessary, in my opinion.
Short erotic tale of a knight with plenty of twists The story starts with Tippy the knight surrounding a tower where his wife Etinne has been kidnapped by adragon. After winning the fight with the dragon and drowning it in the waters, it seems like Tippy is going to get his wife back. Then comes the twist in the tale, as we learn that Etienne is a gender shifter. Slowly, the reasons come out as to why Tippy came to the tower at all. It was erotic and hot with Tippy and his 'partners'. The end with the Edith was surprising and probably brought out the issues faced, for books like these. The other versions of Tippy in Taba's books had a different and unique perspective. Interesting, hot read.
Wow, my jaw dropped so many times during this short story. The sex scenes were intense. I mean, seriously INTENSE. There was a force encounter, but it wasn't too detailed.
There were elements I found unique. Ex. Tippy's spouse could gender shifter. That's a handy trick if you're bisexual.
There were also a dragon and mermaids. These mermaids are not like anything you'd see in Disney. They are savage!
The story took a surprising twist in the last several parts (after the man and dragon shifter had their intimate scene). This surprise twist was unexpected and that pleased me greatly.
I think many people will find this a quite stimulating read. :D
This is different from the authors other works, but she's proved she can do other genres really well. I already read a lot of m/m romance so I grabbed it of course and was glad I did. The scene, holy smokes, lol. I don't want to give stuff away because it's short, but it had a gret twist I wasn't expecting. And the last intimate scene...🥵 Amazing!
There was another twist at the end too that gave me a good laugh. I really hope theirs more Tippy books or stories later on. You won't regret reading this!
This author is a good writer, but is here pushing the limits of what's out there; I knew it was "adult content" and still it was a little much for me. It'll be just right for others, I'm sure, who are known to really like this kind of thing. Let's just say Tippy is not concerned whether his victim/lover suffers at all. In his other incarnation, he fights dragons.
I must say, I was a little surprised to see a gender shifter. I don’t think I have ever read a book with one. The story of Tippy and Tirney are actually a story written by Edith who is trying to get it copied but the copyist refuses it because it’s vulgar. It’s a really cute story and if you like a little erotica, it may be worth your while.
I enjoyed the beginning of this story, the story was well detailed description about how Tippy fought the dragon. But then the storyline started getting uncomfortable for me.
Ranma-esque in the gender switching sense. It's very short. 18+ As a work it isn't what I would call a stand alone but that's what it does anyways. You should read this typical- convention-bucking one shot. Good job.
It was short, but full of kinky goodness. I hope their's more about these characters someday. The end scene between Tippy and the guy was the best, and the ending, where we learn how Tippy came to be, made me laugh.
Hmmm😊 If you're into erotic books, then this will make a good read for you. Found it very very good. Loved it. It was easy to read and follow. Its filled with adventure and mystery. Give it a chance and have a read. Looking forward to more of her stories.
