Two sisters have one summer to crush their comfort zones and save their grandmother’s legacy in this sweet, sexy, and heartfelt novel by Ali Brady, author of The Beach Trap .
Hannah and Libby need a miracle. The PR agency they inherited from their grandmother is losing clients left and right, and the sisters are devastated at the thought of closing. The situation seems hopeless—until in walks Lou, an eccentric self-help guru who is looking for a new PR agency. Her business could solve all their problems—but there’s a catch. Whoever works with Lou must complete a twelve-week challenge as part of her “Crush Your Comfort Zone” program.
Hannah, whose worst nightmare is making small talk with strangers, is challenged to go on twelve first dates. Libby, who once claimed to have period cramps for four weeks straight to get out of gym class, is challenged to compete in an obstacle course race. The challenges begin with Hannah helping Libby train and Libby managing the dating app on her sister’s behalf. They’re both making good progress—until Hannah’s first love rolls into town, and Libby accidentally falls for a guy she’s supposed to be setting up with her sister.
Things get even more complicated when secrets come to light, making the sisters question the one relationship they’ve always counted each other. With their company’s future on the line, they can’t afford to fail. But in trying to make a comeback to honor their grandmother, are they pushing themselves down the wrong path?

This story has a perfect balance of romance and drama to captivate your attention. It revolves around two sisters who embark on a 12-week challenge, braving numerous obstacles (pun intended lol) along the way. Fun, quirky and a swift read that I thoroughly enjoyed!
THIS BOOK IS ALL THE STARS!!! I was impressed by Ali Brady’s first book last year but this took their writing to a whole new level.
Synopsis: Sisters Libby and Hannah have taken over their late grandmother’s PR company but are in desperate need of more clients. When a successful self-help guru expresses interest, she admits she will only consider their business if they complete her 12 week “Crush Your Comfort Zone” program. To conquer their fears, Libby is tasked with completing an obstacle race course while Hannah has to go on twelve first dates. At first, everything seems to be going as planned… that is until Libby starts to fall for a guy she meant to set up with her sister while Hannah’s first love and the one she never got over comes back to town. With that, secrets between the two sisters are also revealed, making them question their relationship with each other.
What I loved: -Having two sisters of my own, I LOVED and valued the theme of sisterhood. Even when they fought or disagreed, I couldn’t help but think about how I would feel in the same situation. -I felt equally invested in both Libby and Hannah’s stories and wasn’t favoring one perspective over another. I also found myself relating to and routing for both of them. -How each sister had their own love story that was impossible not to swoon over. Seriously both Josh and Adam are rising the ranks as ultimate book boyfriends. -The Jewish representation was top notch. I loved all the cultural and food references, and how these pieces were seamlessly integrated into the story. Also, all the character names were so quintessential Jewish and that warmed my heart. -How participating in the Crush Your Comfort Zone program led to amazing character growth and self-discovery. Every week we got snippets of a sister’s journey entry too, which I loved. -The blend between women’s fiction and romance. I find this style of writing, where we see the perspectives of two women who not only grow as individuals but also find love, so rare and I can’t wait for more. -How at 480, the story FLEW by. I will say I was nervous about the length but now I want more. -All the tropes, banter, and steamy scenes. My favorite of course being the second chance love story between Hannah and Josh.
Have I convinced you to read this book yet?! Huge thank you to Berkley for the ARC! This comes out 5/9/23
The Comeback Summer is story set during summer in Chicago, with two sisters fighting to keep their PR agency afloat.
Hannah and Libby have an opportunity to gain a new client, Lou, a big name self-help guru, but only if they agree to complete one of Lou’s 12 week “Crush Your Comfort Zone” challenges first. They’re hesitant at first but their PR business really can’t afford to lose this opportunity.
Hannah is an introvert who loathes small talk and Lou assigns her the challenge of going on 12 first dates. Libby has dealt with self-confidence issues and dreads physical fitness but her assigned challenge is to complete an obstacle course. Hannah and Libby agree to help each other with their challenges but things get complicated as tension builds between them and past secrets are brought to light.
The Comeback Summer was an easy read and though somewhat predictable, it was a reminder that at times we stand in our own way more than anyone else. I really liked The Beach Trap by this author duo, Alison Hammer and Bradeigh Godfrey, and am glad to say I also enjoyed this book.
Summary: Hannah and Libby Freedman have one summer to rescue their late Grandmother’s beloved PR firm and prevent it’s closure. In order to bring aboard Lou, a self-help guru with the means to save their company, the sisters must participate in her twelve week “Crush Your Comfort Zone” challenge first.
Thoughts: I often find that the more I love a book, the more I struggle with writing a review for it. The Comeback Summer was all I had anticipated, and yet so much more.
One thing I loved most about this story is that it encompasses so many themes - finding your way in the world, challenging yourself to exist outside of your comfort zone, loving yourself and your flaws, sisterhood and found family. And of course at the heart of this story, are not one, but two incredible love stories.
While this book is on the longer side (coming in at 480 pages), it never felt long. I was completely enthralled from start to finish, and found myself intentionally slowing down my reading to be able to savor it more. I did not want my time with these remarkable woman to come to an end. In fact, I am already planning a re-read.
Read if you like: •stories about sisterhood •second chance romance •forced proximity •mental health rep •women’s fiction •body positivity •Jewish rep
Thank you Berkley Romance and KCCPR for my advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.
Libby and Hannah are sisters and best friends, trying to live up to the legacy of their late, beloved grandmother GiGi who left her successful Chicago PR firm, the Freedman Group, to them. After losing major clients, they are struggling to keep the firm afloat. Lou, a self-help guru may be the answer to turn their luck around. Instead of a standard business pitch, Lou is requiring that the sisters partake in her 12-week “Crush Your Comfort Zone” program. Hannah is to address her social fears and anxiety by going on twelve first dates. And Libby, who is dealing with body issues, is tasked to train for a grueling obstacle course challenge. Will this journey of self-realization help the sisters save their company or send them in different directions?
The Comeback Summer is a highly enjoyable, sweet beach read. It is written by Ali Brady, the author of last summer's fun The Beach Trap and is the pseudonym for the writing team of best friends Alison Hammer and Bradeigh Godfrey. You'll find yourself rooting for Libby and Hannah as they deal with their own issues and find that love might be possible for each of them. The secondary characters are great and there's some good humor too. One of Hannah's dates accused her of being too competitive when she beat him at pickleball. Loved it!
While it's a light book overall, it has several characters dealing with mental struggles, which I appreciate when addressed as it creates more awareness and hopefully increased acceptance. Also, the concept of being challenged to push your boundaries and get out of your comfort zone is a clever one and begs the question of what would guru Lou choose for each of us if we were part of her program? Hmmm....
Love, love, LOVE! Another spectacular summery read from author duo Ali Brady! Like their release from last year (The Beach Trap), you get DOUBLE the swoon with two romances.
In a nutshell, to save their PR company, sisters Hannah and Libby are requested to complete a 12 week “Crush Your Comfort Zone” challenge from a prospective client.
With a dual narrative like this, sometimes it’s easy to find yourself more invested in one character. Not here! Let me tell you, I was equally obsessed with both these women. Opposites in many ways, they each brought their own humour, unique experiences, and challenges to overcome. On top of that, their sisterly bond was truly something special.
Body insecurities, heartbreak, forgiveness, embracing your main-character energy—this story takes Hannah and Libby through a wonderfully messy and complicated summer. And they accomplish much more than they expected.
If you’re looking for the perfect blend of women’s fiction and romance, please give this a try! (It’s absolutely amazing on audio, too!)
(heat level: a few open-door scenes, mild to moderate details)
Sisters Hannah + Libby have inherited their grandmother’s PR firm, but to say it’s in dire straits financially is only one of many troubles they’re soon to face.
They strike a deal with a potential client (pretty much being guinea pigs).. to complete a twelve-week course, Crush Your Comfort Zone. The course tests personal boundaries and limits to get you out of your comfort zone. If they complete the 12-weeks they will win the account.
As they work toward their challenges things go awry; -Libby poses as her sister + meets someone in a dating app, and Hannah’s ex-boyfriend suddenly appears back in the picture after five years (whom Libby dislikes with a passion!)
When a secret gets revealed that puts a sudden pause on their close relationship, they both start questioning who they are separately from one another. Are they following their own dreams? No.
This deals with family loyalty, sister dynamics, unexpected romance, body image, mental health, risk taking + self discovery. It’s a sweet sister story with Jewish representation that would be a great beach read! ☀️🏖️ ❥ 4.5 stars — Pub. 5/9/23
I loved the author duos debut last year so I had high expectations for their follow up and let me tell you, they delivered! This is a quintessential summer read, a total delight and I loved every single page. This is truly a story about sisters and their close relationship but you also get two romance storylines, one for each sister too. You get a second chance romance, Jewish representation deep themes of family and what that can mean and look like and mental health issues. It’s definitely multifaceted and so are Libby and Hannah. I kind of wish I had saved this for summer vacation reading because it would’ve been ideal but definitely add it to your own summer TBR, it was so so good!
Pick this book up for and indulgent yet smart summer read. You know those days when the kids are running wild, the sun is hot and you just want some downtime? This is the book!
Two sisters who are running their grandmas PR company aren't doing a great job at it as they continue to lose clients. Basically a "fairy godmother" client walks in that will change the trajectory of their business IF they join her challenge. The challenge where they each have to try something new and stretch in ways that feel uncomfortable.
The duo dynamic authorship of Ali Brady alternates writing chapters, each taking a sisters story to tell, yet you would never know. The writing is seamless.
The story has heart, love, work, hurt, angst, stretching, regret, earning, challenge and motivation within. It was an easy story to walk into and enjoy that readers will love reading on the beach, poolside, or even stuck in the house with the kids!
Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley for the advance, complimentary e-copy of this book.
I know this has received rave reviews but I had a hard time getting through it. The second chance romance didn’t really work, the catfishing dating felt awkward and painful and I mostly felt like cringing as the two sisters navigated their lives.
The story follows Libby and Hannah who are sisters and run a PR firm. With their clients leaving in droves they have one shot to land a major client if they agree to doing her “crush your comfort zone” 12 week program. It forces both sisters to push themselves out of the roles they’ve created and see what else they can accomplish.
Something about it didn’t feel coherent to me. There’s a whole aside about renting out desks which felt strange, one sister doesn’t actually finish the challenge, the big secret reveal was startlingly out of character. I don’t know, maybe I just wasn’t in the right mood to enjoy this one. I did like how it was set in Chicago because it was all around places I knew well and loved but the character just didn’t resonate for me
Another 5 star read for me from this talented author duo! Filled with Jewish representation, this story about two sisters was relatable and I cared about both of them immensely and their relationships (both with one another and romantically).
This one releases May 9, so be sure to get your pre-orders in!
Thank you to Berkley Romance for an an advanced copy. All opinions are my own.
Another knockout from Ali Brady! I loved this story of two sisters trying to save their business, stand on their feet as individuals, and of course, find some love along the way.
Ali Brady’s first novel, THE BEACH TRAP, gave definite summer vibes, but I would argue that THE COMEBACK SUMMER could be enjoyed year round. Does it take place in summer? Yes. But is the season in which it takes place a main character? Nope, not this time. Chicago is definitely a character, though, and it was an extra bonus for me to read part of this book as we drove through The Windy City.
The chemistry of the sisters, their love interests, and the intricate weave that holds the 4 of them together kept the pages turning til the very end (and it was worth it, all 400+ pages). This book captured everything that women’s fiction should feature; a cast of characters you can root for, real life issues weaved in, and a bonus of some L-O-V-E!
I look forward to the next by this fabulous author duo!
Scroll way down for content warnings (since some people consider these spoilers)
CW: anxiety, depression, body image issues, blood (minor), terminal illness, grief, sexual content (2 detailed scenes, a few fade to black)
Thanks to the authors for the traveling ARC. There’s no sophomore slump here. Ali Brady has created an engaging story about Hannah and Libby, sisters, who need to crush their comfort zone. I had so much fun reading about these two and how they worked at growing over the book. Their stories are linked, yet we see them as individuals learning how to grow and change and also maintain their sisterly bond. I loved the romances, all the book references, and the journaling. I am also a stickler for not communicating, but these authors handled situations in such a way that it didn’t drag on or drag down the story. They moved each piece at the perfect pace that kept me wanting to turn pages and excited for what would come next. I can’t wait to hear them speak at one of their author events!
The Comeback Summer by Ali Brady Pub Date 09 May 2023 Berkley Publishing Group, Berkley Romance | Women's Fiction Rating 5/5
My thoughts: The Comeback Summer will grab your heart with its relatable storyline. I was enamored with the novel's main characters, supporting cast and dreamy love interests. My mind drifted to the possibilities of making this book about sisters Hannah and Libby into a rom-com with Melissa McCarthy playing Libby.
Synopsis: Hannah and Libby's situation seems hopeless. They are desperately trying to save their grandmother's failing PR firm, but at what cost? Lou, a self-empowerment teacher with an unconventional outlook, approaches them with a proposal. She can solve all of her business's financial woes, but one condition must be met. As part of Lou's "Crush Your Comfort Zone" program, everyone who works with her must complete the course with specific challenges. Do Hannah and Libby have what it takes to succeed?
Self-discovery, friendship, and emotional connection are central themes in The Comeback Summer. This creative and inspiring must-read is written by Alison Hammer and Bradeigh Godfrey under the pen name Ali Brady.
Thanks to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing Group for sharing this incredible book with me. I appreciate your kindness.
Question of the Day: Have you ever stepped outside your comfort zone? Can you tell me about your experience?
I bought this book and started reading it last year. For whatever reason, I wasn’t in the mood and set it aside. In an effort to ‘clear my shelves’, I borrowed the audio version from Libby. I’m glad I did! Narrated by Brittany Pressley and Lauren Fortgang 👌
This book is all about facing your fears. Sisters, Libby and Hannah work together for the PR firm their Grandma Gigi started. The business is struggling, and they enter into a challenge that will change their ways of thinking.
Highlights | 🫶 Crush your comfort zone 🫶 Mental health representation 🫶 Vulnerable relationships 🫶 The bonds of ssolidarity
‘More is lost from indecision than making the wrong decision.’
This is a fun summer romance with themes that I loved. Life, love, self-care, body image, mental health struggles and overcoming the obstacles we put in our own way. I’d recommend it if these things sound appealing to you. 🫶
CW ⚠️ | Contains strong and moderate profanity throughout, but not excessive. Several open door steamy scenes as well. 🌶️🌶️
Ali Brady's sophomore book truly impressed me. Put this one on your radar-- it is the perfect summer/beach read.
Synopsis: Libby and Hannah are sisters who have taken over their grandmother’s PR company after she died, but they're struggling to stay afloat. When an opportunity lands in their lap in the form of a self-help expert, they are willing to do whatever it takes to land her business. Before they can lock her in as a client, Libby and Hannah must first successfully complete her 12 week "Crush Your Comfort Zone Challenge." Each sister has their own personal obstacle to confront: for Libby, it is her physical insecurity, and for Hannah it is her anxiety. At first, the challenge seems manageable... but as we know, stepping outside of your comfort zone is never easy.
Thoughts: The sister dynamic in the Comeback Summer was much stronger than in the Beach Trap. I also loved how well developed and multi-dimensional Libby and Hannah are. Female readers will absolutely be able to connect to their personal struggles. In particular, I want to applaud the ways in which the authors tackled issues surrounding body image, anxiety, and ADHD. Another outstanding element of this book is the love interests. Josh and Adam are such likable guys and will quickly become readers' book boyfriends. Finally, I loved how the sentiment of stepping outside one's comfort zone oozed throughout this story. Books that promote personal work and self growth are often winners in my book, and this was no exception.
I loved the first book by this writing duo…THE BEACH TRAP so I was super excited to get an early copy of this book!! If you are searching for a book to hug you and have you ripping thru the pages, this is the book!!!! I loved these sisters!!!
Hannah and Libby run the PR firm that their grandmother left them. They are on the brink of having to close due to the lack of business when Lou enters the building. She will be a huge client but they first have to finish a 12 week program to take them out of their comfort zone. Hannah is going to have to go on 12 dates chosen from a dating app and Libby needs to get more physically fit so she will be training for an organized race called the Down and Dirty.
Will these challenges help their business? Will these challenges help or hurt their relationship?? How will Hannah go on 12 dates when she does not even want to go on one?? Who will enter the picture during these 12 weeks??
This is a book of sisters, secrets, perseverance, speaking up for yourself and so much more!! This book is highly addictive and I highly recommend that you preorder now!!!
Make sure to add this one to your summer reading list! These two sisters were relatable on many levels. I loved how this author duo wrote two female protagonists that had real struggles, such as anxiety, body image, self-confidence, family expectations, to name a few. We all have our insecurities. In many ways, I couldn’t help wondering if the authors wrote themselves into this book. But it’s not just women’s fiction, just wait until you met their two love interests! One can cook and the other is both sweet and beyond frustrating. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 is also a book with amazing Jewish food representation. So much so that I asked my friend where I could find mandel bread in KC to try. Her reply: “my mom’s house” and then she kindly brought me these treats! Yum! Thank you to @alibradybooks for the traveling arc! It was a 4.5 stars rounded to 5 for me!
I loved the positive body image, sisterhood & element of self help this book incorporated. There were lots of funny and sweet moments.
Ultimately, this book is a bit forgettable. I don’t know that there was a lot of uniqueness, and there was so much going on it felt like nothing was covered adequately or with enough depth.
What a feel good book about two codependent sisters trying to get out of their comfort zones. AND with a little bit of romance on the side 😉 I absolutely adored every character in this book. It had the right amount of ease, fun, and seriousness. Some of the parts were tough to read, especially with Libby being insecure about her weight and not being good enough because story of my life. But it also felt very motivating and I cheered for her and Hannah to break free from their comfort zones.
Oh man the way I LOVED this summer romance about two Jewish sisters in Chicago was unreal!! Writing duo Ali Brady have written a standout story with this book and I couldn't get enough of it!
We get two know sisters Hannah and Libby as they work to win a big client for their business. Part of this involves each of them taking on new challenges. For younger sister Hannah it means going on twelve first dates to try to get her more out of her shell but when the guy who broker her heart returns she can't help seeing if they can have a second chance at love despite her sister's strong protestations.
Libby on the other hand, is challenged with competing in an obstacle course race and for someone on the heavier side who hates any kind of exercise it's a big commitment. Libby also volunteers to help manage her sister's online dating profile and finds herself falling for one of the men she's supposed to be setting up for Hannah.
Full of heart, secrets and one of the strongest sister bonds. I loved both sister's storylines equally and the way their relationship grew over the summer as they learn how to follow their hearts in both business, life and love.
There was also great ADHD rep in the book from Libby's ex who takes medication and struggles to focus. Both women were affected by their parent's divorce and father's abandonment too which played a big role in the story.
Great on audio narrated by Brittany Pressley and Lauren Fortgang. Thanks so much to NetGalley, Berkley Romance and @prhaudio for early digital and audio copies in exchange for my honest review!! If you read one book this summer definitely make it this one!
I wrote a really in depth review but then Goodreads decided to glitch, closed me out of the app and then wiped my entire review so I’m giving bare minimum cause honestly? It felt like that’s what this book was doing at times.
I appreciate the premise and the whole “crushing your comfort zone” theme. It’s an exercise that we could all probably use throughout our lifetime. This is probably where my praises end.
It was a little cheesy which honestly fine. I feel like it must be expected with this kind of storyline. I liked Hannah more than Libby and maybe that’s the little sister in me speaking. Yes Libby acknowledged when she was wrong, but she was in the wrong about a few things. She never fully acknowledged how she steamrolls Hannah or that she just dismissed any of her ideas. And when Hannah told her about the project she was working on? First reaction was to say that she wished Hannah had included her in it??? Like girl.
The sisters. They way they explored how sister dynamics are sometimes with big/little sisters was pretty authentic. Not a spoiler since it’s hinted in the blurb, but the part where they have a bit of friction in their relationship was a bit annoying. It’s like we built up to this whole point and it was so quickly resolved while the before + after dragged. It’s like telling a kid that you have candy and then chucking it out the window in front of their face.
The romances/guys. Nothing to write home about and I get why. They’re not the main plot line but like give a little more?
Great Scott…was he necessary?? I also don’t understand why he’s the last employee left. Yeah their grandma hired him, but didn’t she hire a ton of other people with my tenure and probably would be more helpful than him?
All in all, it’s fine. Nothing that stands out aside from the crushing your comfort zone theme. Unfortunately (and hopefully I’m wrong), I think this will be one of those books that I just forget about. It didn’t make me cringe or have a strong hatred feeling towards it. But nor do I want to go telling anyone about it. Thanks for provoking me to reflect more on my comfort zone though!
Thank you to Netgalley and Berkley Publishing Group for the ARC.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 stars
The Comeback Summer is the perfect summer read. The story follows two sisters, Hannah and Libby, as they try to save the PR agency they inherited from their beloved grandmother. A solution comes in the form of Lou, a self-help guru looking for a new PR agency. However, she tells them they must complete her 12 week “Crush Your Comfort Zone” program in order to land her as a client. Introverted Hannah is tasked with going on 12 first dates, which is complicated by the appearance of her first love. Libby is challenged with completing an obstacle course and solving the added problem of her falling for a guy she is trying to set up with her sister. Over the summer, the two sisters find out more about themselves..and each other.
I LOVED this book. Ali Brady’s last book, The Beach Trap, was one of my favorites of 2022 and this one is just as entertaining and heartwarming. Something about their writing style just fits with my brain and I never want to put their books down. I loved the two romance storylines, as well as how complicated and lovable the sisters were. I was as invested in their personal journeys as I was in their romances. This is the perfect book to read by the pool this summer. I need their next book immediately.
ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
Another week closer to spring break. Counting down those days. Not counting today 8 more teaching days!! So close!!
I was so lucky to be a part of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Arc for the release of @alibradybooks new summer release! It comes out in May, which is so soon!
The Comeback Summer follows 2 sisters as they try to save their dwindling PR company that they inherited from their grandmother. A potential client challenges them to get out of the comfort zones in 12 weeks with her program to try to earn her business. The synopsis is way more in depth and I highly encourage you check out Goodreads for my specifics.
❤️Review❤️
This is a chunky summer romance, but I’ll tell you it never felt long. Both sister’s were completely flushed out with their own unique problems, situations, and love stories in addition to their lives together as sisters. There was no room for confusion between them because they were both uniquely their own. I was nervous this would take me a while to read and I didn’t need to be. It read so easily and quickly. It’ll make the perfect beach read this summer! I’m so glad that I got to be a part of this ARC’s journey!
I haven't read The Beach Trap yet and after reading this book, I definitely wish I would have. I am going to make sure I read it soon, because I really enjoyed this book!
Hannah and Libby are such close sisters. I have an older sister and this made me think of us and our relationship. I love how they were partners at work and roommates at home. Best friends. They are trying to keep their PR business afloat. When a potential client walks in and has stipulations that the ladies must participate in her Crush Your Comfort Zone challenge in order to get her business, the two sisters must each branch out for the next twelve weeks. Hannah must face her confidence issues and Libby must face her body issues/physical limitations.
This book has so much included! It has drama, sisterhood, laughter, love, multiple romance tropes. Plus, we get two swoony romances included.
Thank you so much to the authors for including me on this traveling arc journey. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I really loved this book - even more than The Beach Trap, which is saying something because I loved that one too. This book though...it had my chuckling then tearing up, laughing out loud, than full-on sobbing. I love sister stories, and Hannah and Libby were so well fleshed out as complete opposites with one main thing in common: their absolute love, admiration, and loyalty to each other. And both romances were equally compelling. I was touch and go for a while with Josh (who won me over in the end) but I loved Adam from the jump. Great Jewish, anxiety, and ADHD rep! I will absolutely be recommending this book all over the place this summer! Also a shout-out to the creator of the author duo's covers. They are so bright and inviting. Perfect for the beach! I look forward to Camp People next year!
CW: terminal illness, body image issues
Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for my complimentary ARC. All opinions are my own.
This was just the heartwarming Summer read I hoped it would be, after loving this author duo last year when I read 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙥.
I loved the writing style once again, and the theme of sisterhood and sister dynamics between Libby and Hannah at the very core of the story. It was such a fun, lighthearted read, and I appreciated the body positivity message, as well as featuring Jewish representation.
🎧I loved the audiobook narration and even though I paired the physical book with the audio, I found myself gravitating towards the listening format because I was so engrossed with the story.
Again anything with sisters as the main characters and you have my attention as a reader. Ali Brady has done it again with the story about Hannah and Libby, who live into their roles as younger and older sister really well. The 12 week challenge pushes them further than they ever thought and causes them to rethink how they relate to each other. There is romance in this one but for me the focus is as on each of them and their relationship with each other.
Another beautiful book by the dynamic duo Ali Brady. In The Comeback Summer, sisters Hannah and Libby must take on a 12-step challenge to win over a new client and save the family business. But the victory isn't only in the feat. It's in the obstacles, lessons, and decisions they face along the way. Readers will fall in love with these memorable characters as they uncover necessary truths and "crush their comfort zones." A fun (and sexy) read that's perfect for the beach. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an early read. All opinions are my own.
