You can view my video reviews @holymotherofmonkeys on TikTok as well as other people who are doing the challenge including the person who started it @books.with.lee. The social media hashtag is #readingacrossafrica if you'd like to use it Challenge details: Time Frame: 1 year (It's supposed to end in December, but it's gonna end when I'm done. lol) 1 book per independent Country in Africa Book Selection must either be written by an author from that country, written by an author who has lived in that county, or the book has a setting that is in that Country. The book can be any Genre Feel free to suggest books to add to the bookshelf.

This group is open to all people who would like to group-read books that meet ONE OR MORE of the following criteria: - The book author is born in an African country - The book author lives predominantly in an African country - The book location is in an African country I would like to focus predominantly on fiction, but will share a biographical book every once in a while. The plan is to tackle one book a month. Sometimes, I like to throw caution to the wind and have two books by the same author in a month. After the end of each month, I encourage readers to engage in conversation regarding the book and leave their personal reviews, even if a one-liner :)
