[close] The Veil of Alchemy is a reading series dedicated to the voices that knew how to admire truth, to the creators who transformed pain, dreams, and darkness into pure beauty. Here we read those who, like Sylvia Plath, Remedios Varo, Leonora Carrington, and Alejandra Pizarnik, not only wrote or painted, but transformed their reality into a work of art. What do we do here? We don't just read books; we distill their essence. Our gatherings will explore melancholy, surrealism, the magic of life, and the intensity of existence. It is a refuge for those who are busy, between the pages and on the path, a hope of recognition. Our essence: Introspection: Texts that pierce the surface. Surrealism: Worlds where logic precedes intuition. Literary art: We value the word with the dedication that shapes a piece of pottery. If there's a place where you read something akin to an act of alchemy—where your life was transformed into something extraordinary—you've brought it home. Welcome to the light within the darkness, light upon light. Some additional tips for your branding: Typography: If you're going to have a logo for the group, use an elegant serif typeface (with a few strokes), something slightly vintage, like a classic book or manuscript. Color palette: Keep your style minimalist but add texture. Earth tones, terracotta (alluding to clay), creams, and touches of deep black or charcoal. Visual element: We could use a small bicycle icon, a feather, or an abstract, disappearing bicycle; that would give it a very strong visual identity.
