So this was good. I adored how Lucky and Felix first met and how over the years they came back together time and time again. They were magnetic. Destined. Star Crossed. I was addicted.
Besides falling in love with this couple, I loved how much Anne of Green Gables references there were. AOGG was the book that made me fall in love with reading and any reference made my heart sore.
This has been my favorite book by Carley so far. I will most definitely give her another try with future publications. But I have a feeling I will only read her in the summer as her books breathe the essence of summertime....more

Only a few handful of authors can get me to try I'm sorry, but how have I been missing out on reading Vampire and Werewolf romance all these years??? Only a few handful of authors can get me to try a totally different genre that's totally out of my wheelhouse and Ali is definitely one of them. Honestly, this was awesome. I LOVED Misery! I loved how steadfast she was throughout her life and how she turned her back on everyone that was supposed to love and support her, but only used her as a pawn. I adored her and Lowe's relationship and how he trusted her when everyone else was against her. Cute with a capital Q!...more

This one caught my eye earlier this year and thought that I would give it a try on our summer vacation, and I'm so glad that I went with it. I just really enjoyed the concept of it and found the story line unique, which is hard to find these days.
This was Adorable, with a capital A. Paul definitely stole the show. I loved how Noelle's grandma's spirit was so present during her journey as well. Definitely worth the read. ...more

I'm used to cranking out 5-6 books a WEEK and I haven't been able to squeak out 5 this YEAR. It's been rough guys. So I knew that if I wanted to try to saddle back up I'd need to relay on a tried-and-true author. Enter, Ms Elle Kennedy. She never fails me. What I adore most about her books is that you never want the series to end. The Off Campus series is one of my favorites of all times, and Briar U was a solid following. But to get a 2nd gen out of these incomparable series? Sold.
I ADORED their meet cute! I loved that they came back around years later and put them in a unique situation for their stars to align. Soon I found myself wanting to dig deeper into these two, to see them come together more than friends. But more than that, I NEEDED to know Ryder's backstory. Elle does heartache like no else. Seeing the Eastwood and Brair teams become one, and backing up Ryder was PERFECTION. I was not prepared for how these two would end! Such a perfect way to wrap up for these two.
You will not be disappointed in how much we get of Garrett and Hannah Graham! Elle, we SERIOUSLY need a Wyatt story. Like, now. I can't wait to read more from this generation and let's hope Elle will keep up with our favorite characters as well. ...more

I adore everything Ali Hazelwood so of course I had to give this a try. I would say that this isn't Ali's signature as her main characters are chess players (a subject I know squat about), but I quickly recognized Ali's quirky characters and original dialogue. I love imperfect characters and Mallory fits the bill. Mallory's backstory that leads to her taking on so much responsibility with her family tug on my heartstrings. But watching Nolan fall in love with her immediately was all the feels! This didn't have as much angst as I typically get from Ali, but it's still adorable. ...more
So, I became obsessed with this! I have DEVOURED everything Ali has written and have adored them all. But I will say, this one is a bit different.

I LOVED how complex Elsie’s character was. How she molded herself into whoever she needed to be but yet, it still was never good enough. She protects herself with these alternate versions of herself and her judgmental behaviors. And the fact that Jack sees her for her and wants, no DEMANDS, for her to be her true authentic self, is literally all the feels!! I love really getting into psychology of the characters and Ali knocks this out of the park! Bravo.
I’ve missed Ali’s infectious writing so much that I am now going back to the beginning and rereading The Love Hypothesis and most likely Love on the Brain. I cannot wait to read more from her. ...more
