STORY: WHAT I LIKED: I was so stimulated by this story. Was it anything different from what I’ve read, no, but the way the author delivered the story to me kept me so invested. I love the way the story was done in the beginning. I honestly felt if it did not start the way it did, I may have felt differently. The first 24% of the story, it was all about that build up for me and the way the author constructed the story. it was so inviting. The author started at ages 12 and 13 and build from there. Did Caspian and Willow have much scenes together during this phase of the book, no, but I got stalking, mafia/secret society and a lot of death and drama. This set the tone for the present when they are 19 and 18 years old. Throughout the first 24%, the metamorphosis of Caspian got those juices flowing, granted, he is still very young but it was telling. The remaining book has its mystery and I got sucked into the plot.
Caspian had a dominance about him that is sexy. It doesn’t seem like he is 19. With his whole bravado, he gave me older at times like 23 or 25. Willow gave me innocence. Those two traits from both gave me a bit of excitement as the story progresses.
WHAT WAS SO SO: I don’t have any major issues. I really found myself enjoying the plot and storyline.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY I love the build up between Caspian and Willow. Caspian’s stalking/jealousy and sexual attraction added to the appeal. Their first sexual encounter was a, what are you doing in my bedroom moment. I enjoyed their sex scenes. Apart of that enjoyment stems from the attraction exuding from both characters that added to the excitement. Although it was good, some of their sexual encounters were not detailed as much (this is me being greedy and wanting more). If it was, it would probably be a longer book. Ow sexual encounter in beginning with Caspian and Willow was a virgin.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS: So many characters added to the appeal of the story. I really like Thorne, Caspian’s cousin. Lucian and Eilish, Willow’s best friends, love them. There were more characters but don’t want to say to much.
OVERALL: Was I entertained? Yes. Did I like the story? Yes. Would I read the other books in the series? Yes.
TRIGGERS: A lot of death and violence(nothing graphic). I am happy to report in book 1, no sexual assaults.

STORY: WHAT I LIKED: I am so digging the grumpiness of Greyson. It actually looks sexy on him, especially when dealing with Harper in the beginning of the story. This was an age gap, and sometimes age gaps are a hit or miss for me, but I like the way it was done with Greyson 36 and Harper 23. I love the interaction between both throughout and yes, If Harper didn’t strangle Greyson for his behavior at times, I was going to do it myself.
WHAT WAS SO SO: I really didn’t have that many issues. It was a nice read.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY I enjoyed the sex scenes. The sex definitely got better as their secret rendezvous heated up.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS: Secondary characters were a big part enjoying this story. Molly and Billy, Greyson’s kids, a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e. Zack, Greyson’s brother, he sounds yummy. Lin and Farrah are Harper’s best friends. I liked them and hope there is something in the works for either the brother or best friends.

STORY: WHAT I LIKED: I liked the storytelling of Varys and Inara in this Fantasy/Paranormal universe. The moment the book started, it pulled me in and caught my interest as the story builds up to Varys and Inara getting married. Varys is the Dark Elf King and he is seeking peace with the humans and is trying different ways to get it. Inara is a human, who has a unique ability. The moment Varys saw Inara, he knew who she was to him and became very protective. There were different elements at play of different beings, magic and worldly creatures that brought the story to life.
WHAT WAS SO SO: I really like the connection between Varys and Inara, but wanted a little bit more from their chemistry. It was sweet and still beautiful, but wish it had a bit more intensity at times.as much as I like the story, the Dark Elf King is known to be merciless, I could be wrong, but he was too sweet/nice at times and I think that threw me off a bit.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY It was ok. The pace could have been more.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS: I love Inara’s family. The dominated in the beginning of the book and the spike your interest to see if they will have their own stories. Once the story moves to Varys side, it was interesting and brought out interesting characters.

STORY: WHAT I LIKED: This story for me was interesting. Maxim and Livia’s story is twisted and they for me are the Joker and Harlequin of mafia. Maxim is very young and intense. I forget at times how young he is, but he did grown well. Livia is very feisty, very feisty. Sometimes both her and Maxim are like watching 2 dominants going at it. The start of their arrange marriage is toxic and dark with most of its content. So be prepare for the mental ride.
WHAT WAS SO SO: As much as I like Maxim and Livia, Livia’s character, I love that she was a strong female. However, constantly watching her fight, predominately in the beginning, became draining sometimes. The balance they both gave did not personally work well for me. I fully understand the makeup that is Livia and who her character is supposed to be in this story, as her energy matches Maxim a few times. Should she be submissive all the time, no. It was just a bit draining for me at times. This falls under what I personally like and my taste. This does not mean there is anything wrong with the way the author portray Livia.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY Toxicity breeds interesting sex scenes and Maxim and Livia, they go there. It wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine in the beginning as there was force intimacy amongst other things. Their sex scenes became intense at times. No ow or om.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS: Both Maxim and Livia’s dads were interesting as the story unfolds. It was interesting seeing Maxim’s cousins and Livia’s brother:

STORY: WHAT I LIKED: I need a Lucas in my life. He was just so darn sweet and a gentleman. If his character wasn’t the way he is, this story would not have turn out so good for me. He saw Becca, and went after what he wanted. Also, it’s the way he pursued Becca that made you fall in love with him. Becca, I love her innocence. Her hurt didn’t allow her to trust and she took a chance. I love their courtship.
WHAT WAS SO SO: Really have no issues.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY The build up of their mental and physical chemistry was appealing. The sex scene was ok and I like it.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS: I didn’t not get to read April’s story yet, however, I like the friendship between Becca, Emery, April and Tara. It was great seeing Violet again, even if it isn’t for long. I am looking forward to Emery and Nash’s story.

STORY: WHAT I LIKED: I try to stay away from step sibling romances. I think for me, it depends how the author does it and I enjoyed this one. I liked Tanner, I really do. He gave you a bad boy vibe but was just the sweetest thing towards Eleanor and that was apart of the attraction that I liked about him. This is an insta romance, so everything between Tanner and Eleanor happens so quickly, so make sure you are a fan of insta love/lust. Love their epilogue, and towards the end, you couldn’t help but fall in love with both Tanner and Eleanor.
WHAT WAS SO SO: The beginning felt ok for me. I liked it, but it still felt ok. As the story progresses, I became more involve with wanting to know the characters more as short as the story is. As much as I love Tanner, he was 22 years old, but I was still getting teenage vibes from him and not so much grown, a grown up version of him. I think for me it’s the way his father still treated him that put me in that mindset. Eleanor was younger and acted her age.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY So both had V-cards, but I tell you this, they both gave good sex scenes. I enjoyed their sexual chemistry together. There was no OW or OM involve before or after.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS: There weren’t that many secondary characters. Obviously with this being a stepbrother romance, the parents were involve.
OVERALL: Was I entertained? Yes. Did I like the story? Yes Would I read the other books in the series? Yes. Even though this series has books from various authors, this was my first time reading this author, but would definitely check out more books by her.

STORY: WHAT I LIKED: I am so sad to see this end. I started looking forward to the next book as the story continues every other week. I am completely satisfied with the way this story continued and ended. Throughout the story, I saw Paxton’s devotion and need for his mate grew and that was also what made this exciting for me, because he matured as well. It also had a spin of forbidden romance throughout so that is also exciting. Paxton’s POV for this was good and I am glad this ended on his POV as he details his recuse. Eden has come a long way also as well and I really enjoyed her and Paxton together trying to figure this out.
WHAT WAS SO SO: Really no issue for me, but would have loved to seen them shift one more time.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY Sex scene was satisfying for a quickie

STORY: WHAT I LIKED: I have to start by saying this book requires a certain type of reader. I am a lover of dark romance, but even I would have to not be human to not be affected by all that took place in this book. This would not be categorize as a romance, I would put in a psychology thriller that is very dark, twisted and wrong on all levels, VERY WRONG.
Alexander is the villain and main character of this story. The whole story is told from his POV. He is a very intense and dark character. He displays someone to me that gives off narcissistic behavior who is verbally, mentally and physically abusive. This type of behavior breathe life into his character and it’s one that you will walk away detesting but find yourself wanting to know how it ends.
Lilianna, she was interesting. I didn’t get her thoughts but she was so young, strong at times, and seems to see earlier on red flags with Alexander, but chose to ignore.
**Note, this isn’t a romance and the author noted this. You are reading the thoughts of a deprave, twisted and dark man that shows from start to end the moment he sees a young 17 year old girl and decided to make her apart of his twist plan against her brother. He slowly becomes obsessive and possessive over her, which then spirals out of control into violence and terror.
WHAT WAS SO SO: I think for me, this mentally takes a told because you are only reading Alexander’s POV. I know it’s the purpose of the story, but I wanted fresh prospective within this story for certain situation. Lilianna’s family are in the Heretic Brotherhood MC, but the story doesn’t give you an MC vibe. Maybe that’s the way it was intended. The storyline with Nadia, I don’t feel anything became of it. The deal the struck, I really didn’t see much playing out. I remember asking myself, whatever happen to her.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY I left out the sex rating above. It was done so for me because it was sex that was one sided but in the form of enjoyment for the villain. I have to note there is sex, no with just the heroine but ow. The triggers are astronomical, very forced with repetitive violence and rape towards women that is very descriptive. So again, this book should be read by a certain reader who isn’t sensitive and has the mentally capacity to not be triggered so easily.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS: There were a few interesting secondary characters who added to the story. However, Alexander’s character took over this book/story completely l.
OVERALL: Was I entertained? At times. Did I like the story? Yes and no Would I read the other books in the series? Yes.
TRIGGERS: Narcissistic abusing behavior, manipulative and verbal abuse, repetitive violent rape and violence against women.

STORY: WHAT I LIKED: This was nice. I really like that it’s a throwback to the 90s mafia world. The beginning of Cesar and Ava’s interaction, I really liked it and was anticipating more from them. Cesar’s obsession was interesting, it was grown but gave me school boy obsessive crush too. His family is involve with the mafia, but I love that he walks the line of big business man but could get down in the mafia world if he needed to. Ava gave me feisty but not over the top feisty. She was likable.
WHAT WAS SO SO: I just found it ok. It’s definitely not bad, but I was not wowed. I love a possessive and obsessive man and although I got that from Cesar, I guess I was expecting intensity from him. Maybe I wanted him to be more dark. I am not sure what it is but, I needed a little more from him. Plot was good, but was a little unsure of certain things.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY I was satisfied with their sexual chemistry.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS: The secondary characters were appealing. I thought they added to the story playing their positions. I like that both Ava and Cesar’s family were involved.

WHAT WAS SO SO: I love love love, Hope Ford, but what affected my enjoyment, is the way this story was told. It’s an insta romance and that was ok. I have no issues with that, but for this one, I wish I saw how it started between Daniel and Sara. It felt like I was reading the last few chapters of the story. STORY: WHAT I LIKED: Milo was very interesting. He gave me jerk, bully, ace hole and intensity. At times he is the guy you want to hate. His character gave me a little excitement, mostly when he encounters Lucie. Was it bad some times yes, but the darkness/toxicity made it more interesting for me (weird, I know). As the story unfolds I like that we got a little mafia mix with the college aspect. Lucie, she has been put through the ringer. Hard not liking her a bit but the pull and tug between her and Milo was exciting. Definitely a lot of ingredients in this book, so if you are familiar with the author’s work, then it might be your thing. I would advise reading the pervious books.
**side note: Milo had sex with OW.
WHAT WAS SO SO: All the religious things bother me this time around. I sound like an oxymoron!! I know!!! I love dark romances but sometimes the religious stuff in this book gets to me. I hated the Lucifer nick name. If that doesn’t bother you along with certain themes, then you should be good to go with this book.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY They had good sexual chemistry and I was fully satisfied with their sex scenes. Not going to lie, the toxicity added to it as well.

STORY: WHAT I LIKED: So not going to lie, I like reading a change that the heroine isn’t from a rival family and that she is a stripper, I’ve seen stripper heroines before, but not often. Yes, it’s a profession as old as time-ish and is always questionable but I liked it. Falynn is just trying to make money to pay off debts and the only way to do this, stripping, amongst other things. She was likable and gave nice energy that mesh well with Giovanni’s character at times. Giovanni was becoming obsessed and enthralled with Faylnn. I liked that he couldn’t get enough of her. When the story started, and that intense stare down and moment in the VIP room it was really inviting me into the story. It became ok after, but it’s a story that started to become interesting as it continues.
WHAT WAS SO SO: Intensity, I wanted more from Giovanni. Yes, he had a temper when he got angry and threw out orders, but he lack intensity for me personally, can’t speak for anyone else. Apart of that, is the way he handle the kidnapping or holding of Faylnn when she witness a murder in the beginning. Faylnn was likable for me, but not all the way lovable. Their coming together was too quickly down. I needed that intense build up a little bit more based on their chemistry in the beginning and I don’t feel like I got that. I remember thinking when they got together, it was too easy and my interest faded a bit. Faylnn tried to escape once, but she so readily accepted what ever Giovanni offer. The secondary plot and traitor, was easy to pin point but still interesting for me. The story noted to be continued, however, it really didn’t end on a cliffhanger-ish, granted there seems to be a tiny bit of unanswered questions with Gio becoming a Don. Also, this wasn’t hardcore dark, but wouldn’t put it in the sweet and nice aisle either, so for me it was mild.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY Of course with a possessive man in charge, their sex scenes were good. I have no issues there as they couldn’t get enough of each other. (Not going to lie, I thought she was going to become pregnant)
SECONDARY CHARACTERS: I liked Louis, one of Giovanni’s enforcer, give him to Tasha, I like her as well. Now Giovanni has a twin, Giancarlo. We heard of him but never actually read about him, so maybe he will make a grand entrance in book 2.
OVERALL: Was I entertained? Yes. Did I like the story? Yes, with a few buts. Would I read the other book in the series? Yes, but depending also were it takes us as there are 3 books in the series.

STORY: WHAT I LIKED: This was disgustingly sweet and sexy and I loved it. Also, as far as insta love/romance goes, Molly and Major did the SUPER insta love on a whole another level it was so fast haha. I really enjoyed this quickie and Molly and Major’s chemistry from the moment they met right to the end. They kept me wanting to read more about them. Major owns his businesses but gets his hands dirty and the blue collar men are such a turn on when reading romances. Molly was sweet and I like that she was bold with what she wanted.
WHAT WAS SO SO: I personally had no issue with this quick read.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY Love their sex scenes. For a virgin, Molly for me was bold and I would even say naughty.

STORY: WHAT I LIKED: This keeps getting better as the story continues. I love the way Paxton keeps fighting and pushing for Eden and of course, Eden is still pushing back and fighting. We kind of came to some sort of break through, but of course, here comes the drama and na sayers. Part 3 had more physical action and we saw a bit of interaction with others. I really find myself enjoying this story and the characters.
WHAT WAS SO SO: It’s like a damn soap opera that ends at the good part and you have to wait to see what happens. I would have really loved to enjoy this story in one shot because the waiting was annoying, especially if it’s something you find yourself enjoying.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY I liked their sex scene, it matches the intensity they were feeling in the moment.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS: We saw more interaction from others in the pack, but briefly. However, since they keep accusing Eden of magic over Paxton, I thought we would see more of Eden’s best friend, Luna.
OVERALL: Was I entertained? Yes. Did I like the story? Yes Would I read the other books in the series? Yes. I almost wish this was a series for other characters.

STORY: WHAT I LIKED: I enjoyed the set up of this story. Bael, who is a Kalodian and is an Overlord, with many others, came to earth and took over. Once the humans were taken over, they are put into 3 categories, slaves, feeders and breeders. Aleana was assigned to be a feeder, which involves fangs. You have the storyline between Bael and Aleana and they sub plot between Aleana and her family that is playing out. Once everything collides it gets more dark and interesting.
Aleana had a submissive like demeanor that activates Bael’s dominant side. This is what makes their story interesting as Aleana isn’t putting up a fight in regards to her situation as she welcomes it in some ways.
This story has really dark content and it will/might upset a few because of who as well. So be prepared as it all depends on what you consider dark and what is too dark for you.
WHAT WAS SO SO: I really don’t have anything that I disliked . I only wished that Bael did not wait so long to tell Aleana that she was his mate. Aleana seemed ok, excited even about this towards the end, but kind of wanted her thoughts more not a page. We got to see Bael’s on and off again battle with the mate issue throughout the story.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY One word, ROUGH. That’s what I would use to describe Bael and Aleana’s sex scenes. Most of the dark contents of this story was really the sex. Force, rough, degrading, non con, dub con. Again, we have the submissive and dominant roles at playing also that involves all these sex acts. So make sure it is your thing. When Aleana and Bael first got together, it was non stop sex. Was that an issue for me? No, for others maybe yes or no. So prepare yourself for that as well.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS: I liked Ella, Aleana’s best friend, hoping to see if she will have her own story. I also liked Kurdjin and the others that reported Bael. The characters brought out the story as well.
OVERALL: Was I entertained? Yes. Did I like the story? Yes, it’s not your typical romance fall in love story so if you are sensitive to certain things would not advise reading. Would I read the other books in the series? Yes.
TRIGGERS: execution killings, torture, rape (descriptive), force intimacy, rough sex, degrading acts, non con, dub con.

STORY: WHAT I LIKED: I really enjoyed the first couple of chapters of Ronda’s POV. Her chapters gave the whole encounter of this intensified chemistry along with her thoughts of the incident that brought her and her boss together. It gave me an exciting feeling that made me want more. Manu was very intense at times, blunt and rude. This definitely added to the appeal of their relationship. This was definitely insta lust mixed with a tiny bit of Insta love and a quick read.
WHAT WAS SO SO: I enjoyed most of the story and I know it’s a quickie, but Ronda gave in so darn quickly all the time. At times that can kill my vibe of a little back and forth between the characters.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY Ronda and Manu’s sex scenes were steamy. At some point the finally ended up in an actual bed but and I enjoyed their encounters.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS: Really weren’t any that stood out.
OVERALL: Was I entertained? Yes. Did I like the story? Yes. Would I read the other book in the series? N/A

STORY: WHAT I LIKED: I like Ryan and Mia as the playboy and the assistant who has been crushing on Ryan for years finally gets together. They were sweet and their romance was nice.
WHAT WAS SO SO: I am always in love with this author’s books, but I find this one to be ok. I did not hate it and it wasn’t wow, but in ways still likable. I felt it was missing something. As much as I liked seeing Ryan and Mia come together, there was no excitement while reading their story either.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY Sex scene was sweet and nice.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS: It was good seeing King and Nat again and the other brothers. I am looking forward to Griffin’s story.
OVERALL: Was I entertained? Not fully. Did I like the story? Yes. Would I read the other book in the series? Yes

STORY: WHAT I LIKED: I liked that part 2 was solely Paxton’s POV. I really am finding myself engaging more in this storyline and the whole rejected, I don’t want you mate is now going out his mind thinking of said mate, Eden. As the story progresses it’s getting more interesting to see how Paxton will reclaim his mate and what defying his father, current Alpha will mean. I was not sure about Paxton in the beginning, but it helped getting more of his POV as well as good to see he is actually taking the time to know how Eden grew up.
WHAT WAS SO SO: Hate when it cuts off, because I have to wait to see what happens.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY Still wasn’t much, but enough physical intimacy to wet the appetite.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS: There weren’t any really. But hope to see more of Luna.
OVERALL: Was I entertained? Yes. Did I like the story? Yes. Would I read the other books in the series? Yes.

STORY: WHAT I LIKED: Havoc and Leighton’s marriage was that of protection and convenience. So their love story went backwards where it started with marriage and they had to work with getting to know each other and fall in love. Havoc was the sweetest person. I love their chemistry and the way they were with each other.
WHAT WAS SO SO: Like the books I have so far in this series, I really like them, but it tends to drag out. I felt as though Havoc and Leighton spoke about their feelings often, and I’m like great everyone is on the same page, but then they find themselves back into the same routine and we are waiting for something to happen. Love them but their romance took sometime.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY Their sex scene was satisfying.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS: I always enjoy the me of the MTF and the women they have found.
OVERALL: Was I entertained? Yes-ish. Did I like the story? Yes with a few buts. Would I read the other books in the series? Yes-ish.

STORY: WHAT I LIKED: That the heroine has a disability that the author incorporated into the story. The storyline was interesting with Robyn not knowing she is a shifter wolf and Keil realizing in an instant that Robyn is his mate. With this also being an Insta romance it went by pretty quickly.
WHAT WAS SO SO: I didn’t like the dynamics with Keil’s brother thrown in, it made it feel mediocre and I couldn’t enjoy enough what was going on with Keil and Robyn. Although I like Insta romances, I felt Ithis one needed a bit more build up between both characters because Robyn took this wolf ghing a little too well.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY I enjoyed their sex scenes. For an insta it was likable.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS: Keil’s brother was ok funny-ish but ok. Robyn’s brother was interesting.
OVERALL: Was I entertained? Sometimes. Did I like the story? Yes, I like the plot. Would I read the other books in the series? Maybe.
